Valheim Isn’t Finished Yet; More Content Is Coming
Iron Gate is back with an official blog post. In this post, they celebrate what a monstrous month it’s been since the release of Valheim 1.0. They also announced brand-new merch dropping via Kickstarter, and the biggest reveal is that Valheim will get more content in the future.

That’s right, the devs have officially broken the silence on the future of Valheim. They have confirmed that the game will continue to get more content updates. As to when and what that content will be, they can’t reveal just yet.
We suspect you might wonder what else is in store for Valheim. We can promise you that there are more content updates coming, though exactly what that content will be, we can’t reveal just yet. Simply rest assured that there is more in the works for Valheim, and we will be sure to announce it when we have news!
With that said, we also want to let you know that as 1.0 has been released, these Words from the Devs will no longer be monthly. Instead we will simply update you when we have news for you, and we hope you won’t miss us too much!
Bonus Merch and Side Content
In addition to this wonderful news, Iron Gate also announced they are launching another Kickstarter campaign for a ton of brand new and some returning merch. Some items include a giant Valkyrie blanket and an Iron Shield replica. They also have a new batch of scented candles with Cantrip Candles. Plus, they are teaming up with Makeship to make a limited-edition hoodie.
In addition, Valheim is entering the world of comic books! They have a team dedicated to bringing the world of the tenth realm to comics, and you can see a sneak peek and sign up on their website.
Lastly, they also put out a fantastic collaboration song and music video with Miracle of Sound. But be warned: the music video includes spoilers for later biomes, so watch with care.
