An Early Access Beta, which will run from <strong>August 21st to the 25th</strong>, for those who pre-order. Then, a few days later, the Open Beta will run from <strong>August 18th to September 1st.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Each beta will include Warzone, Multiplayer, and one Campaign mission. Some multiplayer maps will include Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, Lotus, and Kill Block, with more opening up during the Open Beta. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Last week, Behaviour Interactive hosted an <a href="https://all.gg/news/dead-by-daylight-ama-reveals-skull-merchant-rework-and-more/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/dead-by-daylight-ama-reveals-skull-merchant-rework-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ask Me Anything</a> (AMA) on Reddit, where the developers revealed several upcoming features for Dead by Daylight. One of the biggest announcements was a new communication system for Survivors, and now fans are getting their first look at an early concept for the upcoming chat wheel.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Player Intent Wheel</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Behaviour Interactive is developing the Player Intent Wheel to give Survivors more ways to communicate during a Trial. The upcoming feature lets players quickly send preset messages to their teammates, making it easier to coordinate without relying entirely on Dead by Daylight&#8217;s limited emotes.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Players will also be able to swap out messages and customize their own chat wheel. Behaviour knows that not every Survivor will want to use the system, so players can disable the feature entirely through the settings menu. The developers are also adding a mute function, allowing players to silence teammates who spam the chat wheel.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Player Intent Wheel could especially help newer players and solo Survivors. Coordinating with random teammates can be difficult, especially when players have limited ways to communicate their plans. This new system aims to make those interactions clearer and help Survivors work together more effectively.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Behaviour Interactive will continue monitoring player feedback as development moves forward, with the Player Intent Wheel currently expected to arrive in Dead by Daylight sometime this fall.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When it comes to the story, The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy open-world action RPG set in 14th-century Europe. The first chapter takes place in Vale Sangora, a region hidden in the Carpathian Mountains. The area has already been devastated by a plague, leaving its population vulnerable. That is where Brencis, probably the most powerful vampire (also known as Vrakhiri), enters the picture.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After taking control of the valley, Brencis establishes a brutal and dangerous new regime. He uses his own blood to heal the remaining population, but it comes with a heavy price. In exchange, the people of Vale Sangora are expected to give him absolute obedience. And if you do not agree to it, you will not make it out safely.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Brencis also divided the region into three dominions, each controlled by one of Brencis&#8217;s vampiric officers. Each of them controls a different part of the regime, from blood supplies and draining dungeons to alcohol distribution and the Blood Guards. </p>

As Coen begins disrupting their operations, Brencis&#8217;s Court will respond by introducing new orders designed to make his journey increasingly difficult. So basically, if you annoy them a little bit too much, they might decide to make your life much harder. What exactly that means, I guess you will have to try and find out for yourself!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As you probably know, you take control of Coen, a young man whose family is kidnapped by Brencis. Coen eventually becomes a Dawnwalker, meaning he remains human during the day but transforms into a vampire at night. And this is not simply a cosmetic transformation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The two sides of Coen offer completely different ways to approach the world, the combat, NPCs&#8230; Everything works differently depending on if you are a human or a vampire.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Basically, during the day you can walk around NPCs as a perfectly normal human, but that does not mean you are weak during that time. You can fight with a sword and use powerful Witchcraft spells to defend yourself or attack. And as a Vampire, you have more strength and supernatural abilities that allow you to access passages you cannot enter as a human. However, if you lean a bit too much on your Vampire side, it will come at a price.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Combat is also very flexible. The game features an Omniblock/Omniattack system, where Coen automatically chooses the direction of his attacks and blocks. This is designed to make combat more accessible, but it still requires players to dodge attacks that cannot be blocked. There is also a more traditional directional combat system, where you manually read enemy movements and react to them. This approach focuses more on timing, positioning, and rhythm. Both systems also include active abilities that can increase damage, heal Coen, control groups of enemies, or interrupt enemy attacks. So if you want something more accessible, or for a more demanding combat system, you both have an option.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Blood Gives You Power&#8230; And Corruption</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vampirism comes with a constant need for blood. You are going to tell me, so far, it is pretty logical. Vampires need blood, this is not new information. But it does have an actual impact in-game, since it is not just lore information saying Coen needs to drink blood when he is a Vampire. Drinking blood allows Coen to unlock new abilities and become more powerful, but it also corrupts him. The more you lean into the Vampiric side, the more humanity you lose. And that might have consequences you will have to find out.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is one of the game&#8217;s main risk-reward systems. You can focus on the human and witchcraft side, embrace your vampiric abilities, or combine both sides. The interesting part is that neither path is simply presented as the obvious &#8220;correct&#8221; choice.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You are essentially deciding how much of Coen&#8217;s humanity you are willing to sacrifice in exchange for power.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">You Only Have 30 Days</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the most unusual systems in The Blood of Dawnwalker is its time limit. Coen has 30 days and 30 nights to rescue his family before Brencis&#8217;s coronation. But this is not a traditional countdown where the game is constantly ticking away in real time when you are exploring. So for those who are not a fan of time limits in-game, you will be happy to know that it is way more manageable in Dawnwalker. The timer is not constantly going down. Only certain quests with an hourglass icon will make you spend time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Time is basically treated as a resource you can spend for certain things, such as:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Completing certain quests</li>



<li>Completing certain activities</li>



<li>Learning new abilities can sometimes cause time to pass as well</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And that means the world can change without you directly triggering those changes. Some opportunities may appear, and others can disappear permanently. Characters can change their circumstances, events can unfold, and certain possibilities may simply no longer be available depending on how much time you have spent. But do not worry, time will not pass randomly. Every quest or action that will spend time will be marked with an Hourglass icon. So you can decide when you want to spend and complete those.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And even if you fail to rescue your family within those initial 30 days, it does not simply mean game over. The story continues, but Coen&#8217;s journey will take a different direction. It will, of course, have consequences. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">You Can Basically Do Whatever You Want</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Despite having one big objective, saving his family, The Blood of Dawnwalker is not going to force you down a specific route. Quests and activities are optional building blocks for your own version of the story. You can explore Vale Sangora, search for allies, discover new abilities, investigate opportunities, or focus almost entirely on the main objective. And Rebel Wolves is going pretty far with this freedom.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The developers say players can theoretically attempt to storm Brencis&#8217;s castle immediately after the prologue, but defeating him that early as a newly created Dawnwalker would be extremely difficult. But the fact that the game allows you to try is a pretty good demonstration of the freedom you have in the game.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Vale Sangora Is Built for Exploration</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The open world itself includes a mixture of environments, from forests and cities to swamps, caves, and mountain peaks. Exploring these areas can lead to new weapons, armor, abilities, knowledge, allies, and other opportunities. And because time is constantly influencing the world, exploring is not just about finding collectibles or clearing icons from a map.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Spending time in one part of Vale Sangora can potentially mean missing something happening somewhere else. Depending on the side quests you complete, the people you talk to, or the locations you visit, your story might change completely.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Your Version of Coen&#8217;s Story</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, The Blood of Dawnwalker is built around the idea that there should not be one single optimal way to experience Coen&#8217;s journey. There is no best route or best way to play. The choices you make, the people you help, the abilities you develop and, perhaps most importantly, how you spend your limited time will dictate what happens. Add the human VS vampire progression system on top of that, and two players could potentially finish the game having taken very different paths through Vale Sangora.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Blood of Dawnwalker is not just another open-world RPG with a vampire protagonist. Its entire structure revolves around balancing time, power, exploration, and Coen&#8217;s remaining humanity.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And that is probably the most interesting thing about it.</p>

Rebel Wolves has released a new Blood of Dawnwalker video explaining everything you need to know before the game launches in September!


The Blood of Dawnwalker Details Its 30-Day System and Gameplay


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We already know that GTA 6 is <a href="https://all.gg/news/rockstar-confirms-gta-6-extended-look-coming-during-gamescom-week/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">getting an extended look on Netflix</a> later this month, but a strange Netflix listing has now led to another rumor and a ton of speculation around Rockstar and what they could really have planned for this special presentation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So according to a listing briefly spotted on the <a href="https://insider-gaming.com/gta-6-netflix-extended-look-could-be-three-episodes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Portuguese Netflix page</a>, the GTA 6 extended look could apparently contain three separate episodes, each with its own runtime. The listing has since been changed so the episodes are no longer visible, and Rockstar has not confirmed any of this, so keep in mind that this could also have been just a bug or entirely fake. It is really just a rumor, with no way of really verifying if it is true or not.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So the Netflix listing showed three episodes with the following runtimes:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Episode 1:</strong> 23 minutes and 37 seconds</li>



<li><strong>Episode 2:</strong> 24 minutes and 41 seconds</li>



<li><strong>Episode 3:</strong> 18 minutes and 29 seconds</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Together, that would be up to 1 hour, 6 minutes, and 47 seconds of footage. The second episode would apparently be the longest, and the third would be the shortest. There was no release date attached to the individual episodes, and the listing was only seen on the Portuguese version of Netflix. After people noticed it, the page was updated, and the three episodes disappeared.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Again, that obviously makes it impossible to know if this was an accidental listing, a placeholder, a technical error, or something that was simply never supposed to be visible yet. It could even be fake. However, it is interesting enough to make it worth mentioning, because 3 episodes is not something that is that unbelievable.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Is Rockstar Using Netflix?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Something about the rumor makes it interesting. Rockstar has officially confirmed that an extended look at GTA 6 is coming to Netflix, so the basic premise is not speculation. The question is simply what exactly Rockstar is preparing. And choosing Netflix for an extended presentation is already a little unusual.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick previously suggested that the upcoming presentation would be worth watching and that people would not want to miss it. That is obviously vague enough to mean pretty much anything, but it does leave room for speculation that Rockstar could be planning something more elaborate than simply uploading another ten-minute gameplay trailer.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3 Episodes Over 3 Months</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A multi-part presentation showing different aspects of the game over time is not that weird. With GTA 6 releasing on November 19, 2026, Rockstar could potentially use multiple episodes to gradually show off different parts of the game during the final months before launch. One episode per month, up until November. One in August, one in September, and one in October. In a way, it would make sense. One episode could focus more heavily on Vice City, another on the surrounding world and activities, and another could give us a better look at Jason and Lucia&#8217;s story, for example.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>That is purely speculation, of course. There is nothing currently confirming that Rockstar intends to release one episode per month, or even that these three episodes really exist.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But a three-part format would certainly explain why Rockstar would choose a streaming platform like Netflix instead of simply releasing another trailer on YouTube. However, it could also just be one big episode at the end of August, and the Netflix early access is just to bring more people to discover the game. Anything is possible, to be honest.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For now, though, the only thing we can say for sure is that GTA 6 is getting an extended look on Netflix later this month. If that turns out to be one big presentation or three separate episodes remains a mystery.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But if this Netflix listing was real, Rockstar may have quite a bit more to show us than we initially expected.</p>

A Netflix listing briefly showed three GTA 6 extended look episodes totaling over an hour, but Rockstar has yet to confirm it!


GTA 6 Rumor Claims Netflix Will Show Over an Hour of New Footage


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Insomniac Games has revealed some pretty good news for players planning to play Marvel&#8217;s Wolverine on a standard PS5! <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/insomniac-confirms-marvels-wolverine-performance-mode-details" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Speaking with IGN</a>, senior project director Jess Reiner-Reed and Insomniac&#8217;s head of technology, Mike Fitzgerald, confirmed that the game will run at 60 FPS with ray tracing on the base PS5, and, even better, this will be the game&#8217;s default mode.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That is a first for Insomniac.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">60 FPS With Ray Tracing Was the Goal From the Start</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to Reiner-Reed, Insomniac knew relatively early in development that they wanted Marvel&#8217;s Wolverine to target 60 FPS on the standard PS5. The team was able to achieve that goal, with the game designed around the performance target instead of treating it as something added later. Fitzgerald also explained that Insomniac has traditionally offered separate fidelity and performance modes, sometimes adding a performance mode with ray tracing toward the end of development after realizing the game could handle it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wolverine was approached differently.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This time, the studio decided from the beginning that the game would be built around 60 FPS with ray tracing, making it the default presentation on PS5. And considering just how Marvel&#8217;s Wolverine is expected to be, that should be particularly welcome. A smoother 60 FPS target should make Logan&#8217;s fast melee combat feel considerably more responsive, especially when chaining attacks and dodging enemies.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The technical ambitions of Marvel&#8217;s Wolverine do not stop at frame rate and ray tracing. Unlike the Spider-Man games that are more focused on a single large city environment, Wolverine takes you through a much wider variety of locations. Insomniac specifically mentioned the Canadian wilderness, Madripoor, and the jungles seen at the beginning of the game. That has required the studio to develop new technology for things such as foliage. Plants and vegetation can react to wind, characters, and the surrounding environment, making the game&#8217;s areas feel more dynamic.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But there is another huge focus: destruction.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Logan Is Going to Leave a Mess Behind</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wolverine is not exactly known for being gentle, so Insomniac wanted the world to react accordingly. Fitzgerald explained that the team did not want players to fight through a large group of enemies only to walk away from the battle and find everything looking completely untouched. A large number of props throughout the game are therefore destructible and physically reactive.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Market stalls, tables and other objects can splinter and fly apart during combat, meaning the environment should look like it has been through a fight once Logan is finished with his enemies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That seems like a particularly fitting approach for Wolverine.</p>

So most of the props in the game are destructible, react in physically accurate ways. We invested a ton in that technology. So market stalls and tables and everything around you is splintering and flying off as you&#8217;re doing combat.&#8221;</p>

And with the game launching on September 15, 2026, we will not have to wait much longer to see how well Insomniac managed to pull it off.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It has been a very long time since we first heard about ANANTA, but we are finally getting another proper look at the game. New gameplay footage has surfaced on Bilibili, showing off a surprisingly detailed section of the game&#8217;s open-world city and even exploration near the water, giving us a much better idea of what the city and everything will really look like. The video remains rather short, so there is not that much to see overall, but the details of the water and everything are just amazing. It does help to understand why the game takes so long to be developed and revealed. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Honestly, the city is looking pretty damn impressive.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">ANANTA&#8217;s Open World Looks Extremely Detailed</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The footage focuses more on the game&#8217;s urban environments, including a large waterfront and marina area that you can freely explore. The city is full of details, from skyscrapers and bridges to palm trees, smaller buildings, and different levels of elevation. There are also plenty of walkways, stairs, and layered areas that make the environment feel much more like a real city, and not just a collection of streets connecting different missions.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Across the water, you can see a large city skyline, further showing just how much of the environment appears to be visible and explorable. There is a port, a sort of church, a lighthouse, and in the distance you can even spot what seems to be a huge seaside amusement park with a massive rollercoaster! We do not know if we will be able to ride that one, but I do hope so! Maybe through some character relationship side quests or things like that. But that remains speculation for now. It is a small detail, but it is exactly the sort of thing that makes an open world feel more believable. Instead of simply filling the map with buildings, ANANTA appears to be creating entire areas that players can probably explore and interact with.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The water itself is also surprisingly detailed, with reflections, ripples, and lighting effects helping the waterfront feel considerably more alive. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The footage also gives us a look at the game&#8217;s third-person movement and character animations. They appear considerably better than what we have seen from some of the game&#8217;s much older footage! It shows that they have been working hard on the game, because some things did not look that good and this smooth in previous trailers.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">More Than Just Walking Around</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Most of the video is really just the main character walking near the water, but it also shows a few of the game&#8217;s UI, interaction, and social features. Exploration is definitely not going to be your only activity. You can spot things like:</p>

<li>There is a car icon, so either to call a taxi or your own car, probably</li>



<li>A shirt icon. We are guessing this is to change clothes at any given moment</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On top of that, it also seems like your character will have their own phone. A lot of games do this now, where you can pull out a mobile phone in order to access all the functionalities the game has to offer. This typically replaces your general menu and makes things a bit more interactive. You can find pretty much the same icons as those you have on your action shortcut wheel. This makes us wonder if you can customize the action wheel with the icon that you want or not.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The video also shows off the photo mode! So when you activate your camera, it seems like you can make pretty cool pictures. There is a front camera and a selfie option, from what we can see. You can do things such as:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">All of that honestly fits with what ANANTA has been trying to show about its world. We have a large open environment where players can do more than simply travel between story missions.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">ANANTA Has Been Silent for a Long Time</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What is perhaps most surprising about this video is simply how long we have been waiting to see ANANTA properly again. The game was originally revealed years ago under the name Project Mugen, and we have had relatively little substantial information about it since the gameplay trailer over 10 months ago. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This new footage is therefore quite interesting because, even if it does not show that much, it at least indicates the game is still alive, and the devs are actively working on it. And if this is representative of the rest of the game, ANANTA could have a seriously impressive city to explore, with a ton of things to do in it. There are also rumors about having access to boats and being able to explore on the water. However, this is just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is still plenty we do not know, including when exactly the game will launch and how its full progression and gameplay systems will work. It is also supposed to be a gacha game, but with no character gacha, so the question remains: what exactly can you pull, and how will monetization work?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But after all this time, it is nice to see at least something about ANANTA again! And yes, that city is looking absolutely insane.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs has just hit another major milestone. After selling <a href="https://all.gg/news/restory-hits-100k-sales-with-97-positive-rating/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/restory-hits-100k-sales-with-97-positive-rating/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">100,000 copies in the first day</a>, the game has now managed to sell 300k copies in a week. Along with this announcement, the developers have also released a short teaser, saying there is more content to come.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s been a week since <a href="https://all.gg/news/relax-with-restory-chill-electronics-repairs/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/relax-with-restory-chill-electronics-repairs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ReStory was released</a>, and as of today, more than 300,000 copies have been sold. As a thank-you and partial celebration of the milestone, the developers have dropped a short thank-you video.</p>

However, we currently have no word on when this free update for ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs will drop.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Aggro Crab is back with the final major update for Peak: The Final Ascent. This major update brings new variant biomes: Gloom and The Citadel, which will cycle out with Caldera and the Kiln.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Final Ascent</strong></h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The day has finally arrived. The Final Ascent marks the final major update for Peak, adding two new biomes, a handful of <a href="https://all.gg/news/big-walk-is-the-next-must-play-co-op-indie-game/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/big-walk-is-the-next-must-play-co-op-indie-game/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">secret items and areas to uncover</a>, and 10 new badges for climbers to earn.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Like previous biome updates, these new areas will be part of each new daily map for the next two weeks. Afterward, biomes will return to being random spawns in the daily map rotation.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Final Ascent update for Peak is also bringing a handful of extra features to the game. Firstly, Ascent 8 has now been added. Additionally, Ascent 7 has been changed:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are now 10 new Badges to unlock, along with matching cosmetics, which will be the last set of achievements coming to Peak. So if you have been trying to go for that 100% achievement, now is the time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are also some new items and a new type of luggage, clown luggage, to be exact. When opening Clown luggage, you have a chance to get: The Lollipop, Cannon, and Balloon Bunch, instead of the items inside climber luggage.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for the new items, players are getting:</p>

We don’t wish for it to become a “forever game” where we constantly add new things that bloat the experience, just to try to keep people’s attention.</p>

For those who have been keeping an eye on Aniimo, you will be happy! The upcoming free-to-play creature-catching RPG finally has a release date to talk about. They released a new pre-order trailer for PlayStation, revealing a date. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">And yes, you can pre-order a free-to-play game. And&#8230; pay for a free-to-play game. It is Sony, so these are the usual paid packages they offer. <strong>Keep in mind that these are not needed in order to play the game, even if you are on PS5.</strong></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aniimo Is Still Completely Free to Play</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Before anyone gets confused by the pre-order announcement, Aniimo itself will remain free to play. The PlayStation listing explicitly states that the base game will be available at no cost when it launches. As mentioned, the pre-orders are simply optional packs containing additional in-game items. Some of these items will be exclusive to PlayStation players. So if you do not care about the bonuses, you can just download Aniimo when it releases and start playing without spending anything.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game is also planned for <a href="https://www.aniimo.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xbox Series X|S, PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, Android and iOS</a>, but there is an important detail here. PlayStation is currently the only platform where the official store listing gives a specific September 16 release date. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The other versions are still listed as &#8220;available soon.&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is no indication that the PlayStation version is getting an early-access period either, so it remains possible that September 16 will eventually be the release date across all platforms, and it just did not get updated on the other ones. For now, though, that is not officially confirmed. So if you are playing on phone, Xbox, or PC, we are a little bit kept in the dark when it comes to the official release date. However, keep an eye out, because if PlayStation now has a date, it should not take long before we get the release date confirmed on the other platforms.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Two Pre-Order Packs Are Available</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So PlayStation currently has two different pre-order options for Aniimo, although the exact distinction between them is not particularly clear from the store description.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Fluffy Friend is the PS5 exclusive item, and the Companion Handbook is basically the in-game Battle Pass. So essentially, pre-ordering directly unlocks the paid track for the Battle Pass, and you will unlock the rewards as you level it. You also get a set of in-game materials on top of it for both packages. Now the confusing part, as you can see in the image, is that it almost looks like both packages offer the same thing, but for a different price.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From the currently shown artwork, the main visible difference appears to be that the more expensive version includes two Fluffy Friend companions instead of one, and the Companion handbook seems different. And indeed, this is the main difference. The Advanced pack unlocks the advanced Battle Pass, so the normal paid track of the Battle Pass. And the Collector&#8217;s Edition unlocks a collector version of the Battle Pass. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are no details on either version of the Battle Pass, so hard to really judge right now which one is worth it. But if we compare to other gacha games, usually the collector pass includes a few additional items.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Exactly Is Aniimo?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For those who hear about the game for the first time, the concept behind Aniimo is pretty interesting. The game takes place on the continent of Idyll, where you can discover and capture creatures called Aniimo. But instead of simply fighting alongside them, you can &#8220;Twine&#8221; with your Aniimo, effectively taking control of them and using their abilities to explore the world, solve puzzles, and fight.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Aniimo can appear depending on things such as the environment, weather, time of day, and other phenomena, and many of them can also evolve. So yes, the Pokémon comparisons are going to be unavoidable. But Aniimo is also focused on open-world exploration. You can glide, dive, and burrow around Idyll, or visit a floating metropolis where you can meet other players and take part in competitive activities. So basically, Pokémon meets <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Genshin Impact</a> if you want a simple comparison.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game also includes a PvEvP mode called Egg Heist where you can form teams of three and head into the Lost Isles for real-time searches and battles. But for those who like cosy games, there is also a more relaxed side to the game. Every Pathfinder gets their own RV that can be parked at campsites throughout the open world. You can meet others there, or return to your Homeland to grow crops, build decorations, and customize your personal space.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Creature collection is obviously a big part of Aniimo, but it seems to be going for much more than just that.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Either way, Aniimo is definitely interesting, and since it is free to play, it is always worth trying out. The combination of creature collection, an open world, real-time multiplayer, and player housing certainly gives it more going on than just being another Pokémon-like game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And again, if you do not want any of the pre-order bonuses, you do not need to pre-order anything. The game will be available for free! Now we just have to wait for a confirmation on the release date for all platforms.</p>

Aniimo Pre-Orders Are Now Live on PS5 Ahead of September Launch


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Well, that did not take long. If you played with D.Mon at least for one or two runs, you probably noticed she felt a little bit underpowered. And indeed, Blizzard realised the same thing, since she is already getting some well-deserved adjustments! They already pushed the first hotfix for the season. The update is mostly about D.Mon, giving her a lot of buffs across her kit, and also fixing a few bugs affecting both the new hero and some maps.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">D.Mon Gets Buffed</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Only one hero is getting adjusted, and it is the new tank D.Mon. As always, when a new hero is released, they are either overpowered or underpowered. And for D.Mon, she was lacking damage among some other things. Hence why now, her Plasma Saber deals 65 damage instead of only 60, and the Fusion Repeater now deals 16 damage instead of 15. The cooldown of the Fusion Repeater has also been reduced from 6 seconds to 4 seconds. So your ranged weapon will now be available to use much faster and deal more damage! And when you are in melee, you will also deal more damage.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her Propulsors have also received a pretty significant adjustment. The fuel drain rate has been reduced from 40 to 25, and the regeneration rate has increased from 15 to 22.5. That should allow D.Mon to stay mobile for considerably longer before running out of fuel. This means running in and out of melee will be easier and feel overall better.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So pretty much every main part of D.Mon&#8217;s kit has received a small boost in this first hotfix.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Power Barrier Bug Also Fixed</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The update is not just about buffs, though. Blizzard has fixed an issue where D.Mon&#8217;s Power Barrier was not fully protecting her when it was deployed, and the Fusion Repeater was active. Another bug could temporarily make D.Mon invulnerable, and that has also been fixed.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The update additionally addresses a couple of issues that are not at all related to D.Mon, including a bug that caused Nano Boost to be removed from Moira when she used Fade. There is also a fix for an issue with the second attacker spawn on Paraíso that could extend into playable areas.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So overall not that much has changed, but we got pretty cool adjustments for D.Mon, and a few important bugs got fixed. The patch went live last night, so if you try D.Mon again today, you should feel the difference. We will obviously need a little more time before knowing where D.Mon will settle in the Season 4 meta, but Blizzard clearly is not waiting around to address some of the new hero&#8217;s early issues.</p>

Overwatch Season 4’s First Hotfix Gives D.Mon Some Big Buffs


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ghost of Yōtei fans will be happy about this one! Sucker Punch has announced a new Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, and it is bringing a ton of cool new content to the game. The Complete Edition launches on October 1st and will include the full game, a new story expansion, a single-player combat survival mode, and a few other extras.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And if you already own Ghost of Yōtei, you can just buy the $14.99 upgrade that will add the new content to your game without you having to purchase the entire thing again.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The biggest addition is probably the expansion called Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara. This is a new story expansion that will take Atsu through both the present and her past. In the present-day sections, you will explore a previously unseen valley that was once inhabited by The Snake and his loyal followers, the Vipers. This new story will also take Atsu back to the Battle of Sekigahara. There, you will relive an important moment from her life, before she returned home and began her journey of vengeance. On top of that, a new character named Nagato, who also comes from Atsu&#8217;s past, will play an important role as well.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And, of course, the expansion will also introduce new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and more. So if you wanted to go back to Atsu, you will definitely have plenty to do in October!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Roguelike Survival Mode</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second main addition is Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted, a new single-player combat survival mode inspired by roguelikes. You will be able to accept bounties to begin new runs, and if you succeed, you can earn perks and unlock additional characters. Different characters will also have their own strengths and weapons. Atsu, for example, specializes in the dual katana, Oyuki uses the kusarigama, and Nagato fights with a yari.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Considering how much the community has already enjoyed creating combat clips in Ghost of Yōtei, this mode seems specifically designed to give you another reason to experiment with the game&#8217;s combat system.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Comes With the Complete Edition?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The main game and Legends are available immediately when purchasing the Complete Edition, but Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted will be added through the October 1 patch. So this means that if you buy the Complete Edition now, you can already play through the main game and the Legends Co-op mode, but the new content will obviously only be added in October. It will then just be a normal patch to download with no additional cost.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is also a small bonus for players who pre-order by September 30. You will get early access to the Sakai Armor for Atsu on October 1, bringing back Jin&#8217;s iconic family armor from Ghost of Tsushima.</p>

Sucker Punch is offering a Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition Upgrade for $14.99. This gives existing owners access to the new expansion and survival mode. And if you only had the normal edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition content and Charm of Hokkyokusei will also be unlocked immediately when pre-ordering the upgrade.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Sakai Armor bonus is available here too if you pre-order by September 30.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Existing Owners Are Getting a Free Update Too</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is also some good news for players who are not interested in buying the upgrade.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A free patch is coming on October 1 for everyone that will add a few new features to the base game, including Beauty of Yōtei, a new screensaver mode that lets you leave the environments of Ezo running on screen. It should also be useful for anyone who wants to simply sit back and admire the game&#8217;s environments or take some new Photo Mode screenshots.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The update will also add some quality-of-life features, including the ability to keep the appearance of one armor set even when you are using the stats of another. A new high-contrast accessibility option will also be added.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So even if you do not purchase the Complete Edition upgrade, you will still have some new content and features to check out. And Sucker Punch says they will share more details about Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted as October gets closer. So keep your eyes open for more!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sony has something pretty big planned for Phantom Blade Zero! They announced a dedicated State of Play &#8220;gameplay deep dive&#8221; for the upcoming game, scheduled for August 17. So this means that it will not be your regular State of Play with multiple games. This one will focus entirely on Phantom Blade Zero and its gameplay systems.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On top of the State of Play announcement, Sony also released an 11-minute-long extended pre-order trailer that shows you battling enemies on top of a speeding wagon and crossing blades with former comrades like The Hunt. But this is just a small part of what Phantom Blade Zero has to offer.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The upcoming State of Play is specifically made to show much more of the game&#8217;s combat systems, character builds, and dark wuxia-inspired world. The developers will use this to introduce characters that we have not seen yet, but who will play an important role in the story. They will also show just how much freedom you have with all these characters and their unique builds. Basically, you can expect way more depth when it comes to the combat and progression systems than what we have seen so far.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Donnie Yen Is Involved With the Game</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the <a href="https://blog.playstation.com/2026/08/11/watch-the-phantom-blade-zero-gameplay-deep-dive-state-of-play-on-august-17-pre-orders-live-today/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">official Blog Post</a>, PlayStation also revealed that Donnie Yen has been involved with the game. The martial arts star has been working as a creative consultant on Phantom Blade Zero since 2023, contributing his experience in martial arts and action filmmaking to the game&#8217;s combat design. He also plays Mó Yuan, the father of protagonist Soul, since he did the facial and motion capture.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So we have someone with plenty of experience in martial arts cinema to help make the combat feel authentic, and that can only mean good things for the game!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Phantom Blade Zero Pre-Orders Are Now Live</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero are now also available on PS5 and Steam. The game will launch on October 29, 2026, and if you pre-order, you will receive two bonuses in sort of early access, since both will also be obtainable in-game later on. So the pre-order bonus is not locking exclusive content behind something you have to buy at least.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV developers have pushed the game&#8217;s release to the end of the year, delaying it from its original September 17th launch date.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dawn of War IV Release Delay</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In a video released today, Game Director Jan Theysen explained why the team decided to delay <a href="https://all.gg/news/dawn-of-war-iv-reveals-the-necrons-in-new-faction-trailer/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/dawn-of-war-iv-reveals-the-necrons-in-new-faction-trailer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dawn of War IV</a>. Put simply, the developers believe pushing back the release is the right move to give the team more time to incorporate community feedback, improve performance, and squash additional bugs.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The goal is to make launch day as smooth as possible, and the team believes this extra time will help them get there.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Theysen also reassured the community that the feedback players have provided has already had a real impact on the game&#8217;s development. While fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on Dawn of War IV, the developers aren&#8217;t going quiet in the meantime. More deep dives, developer talks, and other videos are rolling out in the coming months to keep fans updated while the team prepares for launch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On top of that, the roadmap for Dawn of War IV is getting additional updates because of the delays.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deadlock just got its first round of patch notes since <a href="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-ranked-matchmaking-update-is-finally-here/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-ranked-matchmaking-update-is-finally-here/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the matchmaking update</a>. While these changes are small, they do still impact a handful of characters like McGinnis, Doorman, and others.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">08-12-2026 Patch Notes</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There aren&#8217;t many changes this time around, but there are some major nerfs, mainly for McGinnis, and some that nerf some Doorman playstyles, Gun Lash, and more.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To highlight some of the biggest Deadlock nerfs, one of the biggest is to Doorman. Walkers now wait for the Luggage Cart animation to finish to stomp. This is severely going to nerf the kidnapping playstyle Doorman players have come to commonly adopt.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are also a ton of nerfs for McGinnis, nerfing her turrets, gun scaling, and changing around her Medicinal Specter. Other notable changes are Apollo now lifesteals more, Vipers: Petrifying Bola has a larger AoE, and nerfs to gun Lash.</p>
