Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 is arriving soon, bringing a bunch of new events, skins, modes, and, of course, some balance changes. While we aren’t getting a new hero or any new Team-Ups this time around, that doesn’t mean the developers are leaving the current roster completely untouched.
As usual, the midway point of a season means it’s time for another round of balance tweaks. Some heroes are getting buffs, others are getting hit with the nerf bat, and a few are getting some interesting changes to their abilities.
Season 10.5 Patch Notes
Every new season brings the usual sweep of balance changes, and Season 10.5 is no different. Since there is no new hero arriving and we’re only halfway through the season, these patch notes are understandably a little more tame than what we’d normally see with a major seasonal update.
That said, there are still a few changes worth keeping an eye on. So, let’s break everything down by role, starting with the Vanguards.
Vanguard

There aren’t a ton of major Vanguard changes to talk about this time around, but there are still a few notable tweaks. The biggest one is arguably coming to Bruce Banner, who is getting a little stronger when Hulk isn’t around.
That’s not all, either. Magneto and The Thing are both getting some buffs to their Team-Ups, giving these heroes a little more power when they’re fighting alongside their respective partners.
Duelist

It’s probably no surprise to see Gorr getting some nerfs after the new Duelist has been dominating lobbies since his arrival. He’s been making quite the impact since joining the roster, so it was only a matter of time before the nerf bat came swinging.
However, the biggest change for Duelists might actually be coming to Iron Man. His missile launcher is finally getting an update, with the missiles fired by his barrage now automatically tracking nearby enemies as soon as they’re launched.
Strategist

As for the Strategists, it’s pretty much the same old, same old. Gambit is getting another nerf, continuing the game’s recent effort to bring the hero back in line.
Meanwhile, Jubilee is getting a brand-new effect that gives her some extra sustain during Sparking Sprint. The ability will now apply a continuous healing buff to herself, giving Jubilee a little more survivability while she’s zipping around the battlefield. But the bigger question is, did she really need it?
