Marvel Rivals just dropped a brand-new trailer showcasing what the developers have been cooking up for the next chapter of the Path to Doomsday. Season 10.5 may not be adding a new hero, but it is bringing a ton of new events and multiplayer modes for players to jump into as we enter the Avengers: Infinity War portion of the event.

Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War

First, let’s get the big news out of the way. We already knew that the latter half of this season would be dedicated to the Path to Doomsday event, and we’re now moving into Avengers: Infinity War. While that means we aren’t getting a brand-new hero this time around, we are getting a brand-new PvP mode.

In this new mode, players will fight to claim the Infinity Stones, with each Stone granting a special power that can easily turn the tide of a fight. That’s not all, either. Between rounds, players will be able to choose from a selection of upgrades, all of which lean heavily into the ridiculous power fantasies we saw during the Marvel Zombies event.

Outside of the Infinity War game mode, we’re also getting, you guessed it, a whole lot more skins. The new Halloween event, Night of Illusions, will challenge players with an interactive puzzle experience, while a new batch of Infinity War-inspired skins will bring the Avengers’ iconic looks to Marvel Rivals.

But that’s not all. Later this month, we’re getting another PvE game mode where 50 players will take on Thanos’ Army and attempt to bring the Mad Titan down at the ruined Avengers Compound.
