Deadlock Adds Baba, the City’s Notorious Pigeon Lady

The votes are in! The second hero arriving in Deadlock’s The City Never Sleeps Update is Baba. Despite community reception suggesting many folks expected today’s new hero to be Solomon, New York’s notorious pigeon lady is arriving second!

Baba Joins Deadlock

Baba is easily one of the more interesting characters Deadlock has pushed out so far. Not only is Baba a deceptive old woman who clearly wields more power and magic than the populace believes, but she also has a very interesting playstyle.

She is the second Deadlock hero who can steal enemy stats. Graves steals Gun Damage, while Baba can steal Spirit Power. But the most interesting part of her kit is that she can grow her living chair, causing her light melee attacks to knock foes away or her heavy attack to create a giant shockwave.

She also packs a little bit of variety. She can brew tea that deals damage, heals/shields her allies, or even silences her enemies.

As for her ultimate, she can throw bread at her enemies to attract birds that dive-bomb her foes for unavoidable damage.

She is bringing one of the most diverse playstyles, and we can’t wait to see what players do with her.
