By EncampedWeevilPublished October 10, 2026

Bulkhead just dropped a massive one-hour press conference breaking down everything coming to WARDOGS Season 2. There’s a lot to look forward to, including new weapons, vehicles, buildables, a brand-new weather preset, an experimental wagering system, and some much-needed faction balancing.

Season 2 Preview

WARDOGS Season 2 brings a ton of new content, and the developers took time to walk players through what’s coming in their latest press conference. The hour-long discussion covered everything from new weapons to play with to some experimental systems that could shake up how matches play out.

Here’s everything we learned about what’s coming in Season 2.

  • Four New Weapons
    • TCX Spear: Assault Rifle
    • PP-19 Bizon: SMG
    • M14: DMR
    • Evo-3 Ultra: LMG
  • Four New Vehicles
    • Wolf-110: A fast, lightweight wheeled transport.
    • Wolf-110 (Assault): An upgraded Wolf-110 equipped with a ring-mounted M2 Browning.
    • T-72: A main battle tank that’s slower than the Leopard but cheaper to operate and far more fuel-efficient.
    • Flakpanzer Gepard: An anti-air vehicle designed to deal with aerial threats.
  • Three New Buildables
    • MG Nest: A manned M2 Browning emplacement.
    • Large Shelter: A metal shelter to protect key assets or simply keep the rain off.
    • Wooden Step: A wooden step. Sometimes, you just need a little extra height!
  • New Throwable
    • Molotov: An incendiary throwable that spreads fire on impact, damaging enemies caught in its radius. Players can throw it overarm or underarm, making it useful for both dealing damage and denying areas.

New Rain Weather Preset

Bulkhead previously teased an upcoming weather system for WARDOGS, and Season 2 brings the first major addition: the new Rain Preset.

Rain isn’t just a visual effect, either. The new weather preset will affect overall visibility, engagement ranges, and sound, encouraging players to rethink how they approach certain fights. Thunder is also synchronized across the server, meaning a well-timed rumble could temporarily mask everything from approaching footsteps to nearby explosions.

New Experimental Wager Vendor

One of the more unexpected additions coming to WARDOGS Season 2 is the new Wager Vendor. This experimental system will expand over time through future updates and seasons, but Bulkhead has already shared a few details about how it works.

The basic idea is simple: bet on yourself, win big, or lose it all.

Players can choose their own objectives, decide how many deaths they’re willing to spend completing them, and put money on the line. Objectives might include getting a certain number of kills in the hot zone, delivering a set number of players, and more.

The more objectives you stack onto a wager, the longer the odds become and the bigger the potential payout. A live wager tracker will also sit above the minimap, keeping your stake and progress toward victory or failure visible throughout the match.

Of course, the system is entirely optional. So if you don’t feel like gambling, then you can simply watch others lose their money.

Faction Balance

Lastly, we have some changes aimed at fixing one of WARDOGS’ more amusing community problems: players avoiding Lonestar like the plague.

Bulkhead is introducing several incentives to encourage more players to give the faction a chance, alongside a few broader balancing changes. Here’s what’s changing in Season 2:

  • Faction Spawns: All faction spawns have been moved on Bakurani.
  • Lonestar Uniforms: Uniform colors are becoming more desaturated, helping them blend in better with the other factions.
  • Lonestar Cash and XP Bonuses: Players will receive additional cash and XP bonuses for playing Lonestar during Season 2.
  • Lonestar Multipliers: Additional faction cash and XP multipliers will also be available for the season.
  • Losing Team Discount: Teams trailing second place by at least 40 points will receive a 20% vendor discount. This applies to every team, not just Lonestar.
  • Community Server Enforcement: Hosts found exploiting the faction bonuses will face punishment.

It’ll be interesting to see whether the extra rewards are enough to convince players to enlist with Lonestar.

Overall, WARDOGS Season 2 is shaping up to be a substantial update, with new gear, vehicles, environmental changes, and experimental systems that could shake up the game’s core loop. If you want the finer details straight from the developers and a clearer sense of how they plan to shape WARDOGS’ future, we recommend watching the full press conference.
