Battlefield 6 Season 5 Packs in New Maps, Weapons, & Events

Battlefield 6 just dropped its Season 5: Siege of Vegas roadmap, giving us a look at everything coming over the next few months. From multiple new maps and weapons to the arrival of Rapid Royale and a brand-new Dead Space crossover, there’s a lot to look forward to this season!
Season 5: Siege of Vegas (October 13)

Battlefield 6 Season 5 kicks off on October 13, bringing a hefty batch of new content right out of the gate. Here’s what you can expect during the opening phase:
- 2 New Maps: Vegas Strip and Area 51
- New Mode: Rapid Royale (REDSEC)
- 4 New Weapons:
- MK24 (Assault Rifle)
- RSPR (Submachine Gun)
- Z84M (Light Machine Gun)
- ELR-40 (Bolt-Action Rifle)
- Ranked Battle Royale
- Dead Space: Convergence Event
That’s quite a lineup for the opening month, especially with the Dead Space crossover adding a bit of sci-fi horror to the mix. However, DICE isn’t stopping there, with another major content drop planned for November.
Casino Heist (November 10)
One month later, Battlefield 6 is doubling down on the casino theme with the Casino Heist update. As the name suggests, this phase introduces a new European casino map alongside an event built around the heist itself. Here’s everything arriving on November 10:
- New Map: European Casino
- New Event: Casino Heist
- REDSEC Elite Series
- New Weapon: NSW4 (Carbine)
- New Gadget: ADS-17 6GHZ
- New Vehicle: M142 MRAS
And if you thought things would slow down as winter approaches, think again!
Frozen Aces (December 8)
The final major content drop of the season arrives on December 8, and it looks like DICE is saving some substantial additions for the end of the year. Alongside another operation, players can look forward to map updates, new weapons, and some long-requested features.
Here’s what’s coming with Frozen Aces:
- New Operation: High Roller
- Map Updates: Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City
- New Vehicle: B-81 Cavalry
- Server Browser
- Platoons
- New Weapons: MK 1 MOD 8 and Krambit Knife
- New Event: Freezeout
All in all, Season 5 looks packed with considerably more content than we’ve seen in some previous seasons. The December update is particularly promising, with Platoons, the Server Browser, and multiple map updates rounding out an already busy roadmap.
Hopefully, this momentum carries through the entire season and gives Battlefield 6 players plenty of reasons to jump back in. With Rapid Royale, the Dead Space crossover, and a steady stream of new content on the way, Siege of Vegas could be exactly the kind of season the community has been waiting for.
