Deadlock Breaks Its Player Record After Solomon’s Release

Deadlock just hit its biggest player spike ever! Following Solomon’s release yesterday, the game’s peak player count skyrocketed, shattering its previous record once again.
The King Makes His Move
It seems the community has really taken a liking to Solomon. Despite some initial predictions that The Rat King would draw in the biggest numbers, it turns out the master of chess had a different move in mind. Solomon’s release marks the third new hero to arrive as part of Deadlock’s City Never Sleeps update.
And here’s the wild part: we’re only halfway through the current hero release schedule, yet Deadlock has already smashed its player count record, reaching an incredible 262,145 concurrent players yesterday.
That’s more than Team Fortress 2’s all-time peak, putting Deadlock among Valve’s most popular games ever, and it hasn’t even left closed beta yet!
