GTA VI Is Taking Over Miami, but the Beach Deal Isn’t Signed Yet

Rumor has it that GTA VI’s latest Miami Beach marketing deal might miss its October 15th launch date. The city planned to bring Vice City branding to Miami Beach’s chairs and umbrellas starting tomorrow, but officials still haven’t signed the agreement. Now, the long-awaited beach promotion might face a delay.

Clouds Over Miami

GTA VI’s marketing campaign continues to spread across Miami, but one upcoming promotion might hit a roadblock. Rockstar planned to bring Vice City branding to Miami Beach’s iconic chairs and umbrellas on October 15th. However, reports say a Miami Beach official confirmed that the city still hasn’t signed the marketing agreement.

With October 15th just around the corner, fans might have to wait a little longer to see Vice City take over the beach. The good news is that this delay only affects the Miami Beach deal, and other GTA VI marketing plans are still moving forward.

For starters, the Kaseya Center has already put up its massive “Welcome to Vice City” sign, while the Miami Heat continues to plan its “A Night in Vice City” event for November 18th, just one day before GTA VI’s planned launch.

Next up, the Miami-Dade County Commission is expected to vote on another GTA VI-related proposal on October 20th. Meanwhile, downtown Miami’s banner promotion follows its own timeline, separate from the Miami Beach agreement.

So, while the Miami Beach promotion might miss its planned start date, GTA VI‘s marketing campaign isn’t slowing down. With launch day getting closer, Miami is gearing up for more Vice City-themed promotions.
