Battlefield 6 Season 5 Makes Tanks Easier to Destroy

Battlefield 6 Season 5 drops tomorrow, and we just got a sneak peek at major changes to vehicles, Tanks, and all forms of Armor combat. Starting tomorrow, DICE is changing vehicle health regen and weak-point damage.
Hit ’em Where It Hurts
When Battlefield 6 Season 5 launches tomorrow, all vehicles are getting some pretty hefty changes. First, striking an armored vehicle’s weak point will deal more damage, roughly 100 points, depending on the type.
For instance, striking the rear armor of an MBT or IFV will now deal 625 damage, up from 500, bringing it below half HP with a single rocket. Whereas striking the top of their armor will now deal 375 damage instead of 250.
Armor combat is getting more tactical 🚨

Vehicle health regen and weak-point damage are changing. Master your positioning and hit them where it hurts.

In addition, all vehicles will now regen much slower; we are taking around 30 seconds or more to begin even slightly repairing any damage without a blow torch, of course.
These changes will make all vehicles much easier to destroy without an Engineer on standby, and even then, the extra damage to weak points means flanks or bad positioning will take them out even faster.
Not to mention we are also getting a rework to one of the worst vehicle-heavy maps, Blackwell Fields, later this season. So the question is: will armor still impact lobbies as much in Season 5?
