Dead by Daylight Is Removing Chucky in November 2026
The developers at Behaviour Interactive have just announced that Dead by Daylight is losing another one of its major crossover IPs. After joining the Fog nearly three years ago, the Chucky Chapter is leaving the store soon, giving players one last chance to get their hands on the killer before he’s gone.
Bye Bye, Chucky!
This isn’t the first time Dead by Daylight has lost a crossover killer, and it likely won’t be the last. We saw this happen with Pinhead following the announcement of a new Hellraiser game, while Stranger Things briefly left the store before eventually returning with a second chapter. Now, DBD players are about to lose Chucky, and there’s no telling when or if he’ll return.
You and your friends have until November 24, 2026, to buy the Chucky Chapter and all its content before it leaves the store. There’s no telling whether the killer will return in the future, so if you’re looking to expand your roster and collect as many Killers as possible, now’s the time to grab this deadly doll before you lose the chance.
Luckily, Behaviour Interactive is giving players one last opportunity to save some Bloodpoints in their wallets. The Chucky Chapter will go on sale starting Monday, October 26, giving fans a final chance to pick up the DLC at a discount before it leaves the store.
But even if you’re not a fan of playing as Chucky, there’s some good news! All associated perks will remain in Dead by Daylight, although they’ll receive new names and in-universe artwork to separate them from the crossover. Here’s what you can expect:
- Hex: Two Can Play will become Hex: Eye for an Eye
- Friends ‘Til the End will become One Track Mind
- Batteries Included will become Gaining Steam
Finally, if you’ve been eyeing any of Chucky’s additional outfits, you’ll want to grab those before November 24, too. Even if you already own the killer, his store cosmetics will also be leaving, so don’t miss your chance to add them to your collection before this murderous doll disappears from the Fog!
