Deadlock Just Got a Massive Quality-of-Life Overhaul
The latest major Deadlock update brought a bunch of brand-new features, both in-game and via some quality-of-life improvements. Alongside new heroes and a total revamp of the main map, we got new features, including new health bars, HUD enhancements, and more.
Tons of Quality of Life Updates
There’s a lot that’s gotten changed both visually and under the hood for this Deadlock patch, so let’s dive in really quick. Firstly, there’s been a massive update to the pings and communication system. You can practically ping everything now. There’s a new minimap and top bar wheel. You can ping all of your abilities, and there are new targets such as ziplines, bridge buffs, and a ton more.
There are now over 15,000 new updated pings, and with voicelines to match.
Speaking of voicelines, this update adds new pre-match conversations between new and existing heroes, increasing the total from over 700 to 1500. That’s over 10,000 non-ping voice lines.
