Deadlock City Never Sleeps Update Adds 6 New Heroes
Deadlock just dropped the brand-new patch, the City Never Sleeps update, and, like many fans’ predictions, it has, in fact, changed the entire game once again. This update brings a monumental number of changes, but most importantly, we have another 6 heroes to vote on in the coming weeks.
Meet the Locals
The City Never Sleeps update for Deadlock is bringing a total of 6 new heroes for players to vote on. Much like previous voting rounds, every player may earn a vote after completing a match. Your first match of the day earns you some extra votes, so if you really want a certain hero to drop first, make sure you get your daily match in.
Aside from that, the brand new heroes up in the spotlight are:
- Nurse Harrow
- Rat King
- Solomon
- Deadman Danny
- Baba
- Violet
Voting is live right now, with the first release set for October 2nd. Afterward, expect to see two heroes released a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:00 PM PT.
All voting is now done in the new Pregame lobby. So you gotta convince your allies to make the right choice. The winning team’s votes will count as double. Starting with the first hero release, playing will also earn you priority tokens.
Funnily enough, one of the heroes in this roster is one the community somewhat predicted: the Rat King. There have been a handful of hints or speculation going back as far as the Old Gods New Blood update with the expansion of the sewer tunnel sections Rem or Mo&Krill can access.
