Minecraft Dungeons II Editions: Standard vs Deluxe Rewards

Minecraft Dungeons II is just a few days away from release, and if you’re thinking about picking up a copy, there are a few extra bonuses you might want to keep in mind. From preorder rewards to additional cosmetics and future DLC, here’s a breakdown of each version of Minecraft Dungeons II and everything you can get with them.

Pre-Orders

First up, regardless of which version you decide to purchase, pre-ordering Minecraft Dungeons II before September 29 will get you the Twisted Cape, the Twisted Chicken pet, and 2 additional Hero skins.

So even if you’re planning on sticking with the Standard Edition, there’s still a handful of extra goodies you can grab simply by pre-ordering before launch.

Deluxe & Standard Edition

The Standard Edition will give you a regular copy of Minecraft Dungeons II for $29.99. There aren’t any additional bonuses specific to this edition, although you’ll still receive all of the preorder rewards if you purchase the game before September 29.

The Deluxe Edition, meanwhile, costs $49.99 and comes with quite a few additional goodies. This includes the Soul Cape, 4 Hero skins, the Blub pet, and the game’s first two future DLCs once they release.

That $20 price jump essentially means you’re getting the first two DLC expansions bundled in advance, although Mojang hasn’t revealed exactly what either DLC will contain yet. For all we know, they could introduce new cosmetics, areas, mobs, gameplay features, or something completely unexpected.

There are also a handful of additional cape cosmetics that you can earn without purchasing a specific edition, including several limited-time rewards. So if you’re looking to collect them all, make sure you grab the ones currently available before their promotions come to an end.
