Minecraft Dungeons II Capes: How to Unlock Them All

With just a few days before Minecraft Dungeons II officially releases, Mojang is keeping the hype rolling by introducing a handful of limited-time capes you can earn through purchasing the deluxe edition, playing the first game, or through other promotions.

Corrupted Creeper Cape

First, let’s quickly mention the last one you can grab today. The Corrupted Creeper Cape promo is about to run out today, September 26, at 11:59 PM PST. All you need to do to earn this cape is watch any live Minecraft livestream for at least 3 minutes on TikTok, or on Twitch for at least 15 minutes.

Hero Cape 

The Hero Cape will be easy to obtain if you’ve already played or own a copy of Minecraft Dungeons I. All you need to do is play the first game, then log into Minecraft Dungeons II before December 31, 2026. The special thing about this cape is that once you earn it, you get to wear it in normal Minecraft, Java and/or Bedrock Edition as well.

Pre-Order bonus

It wouldn’t be a modern game without some sort of Pre-Order bonus incentive. If you Pre-Order Minecraft Dungeons II, you will nab yourself the Twisted Cape, get 2 additional hero skins, and the Twisted chicken pet. The Twisted Cape will also be available in normal Minecraft, just like the Hero Cape.

Deluxe Edition

As the title says, the Soul Cape is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of Minecraft Dungeons II. You will also receive the Blub pet, 4 hero skins, and the first two DLCs when they are released.

Special Cape  

The last promotion for Minecraft Dungeons II is still a secret. Aptly named, the Special Cape currently has no clues on how to obtain it. It even goes so far as to say, “It is so rare and unknown that the author of this article had to freestyle something in order to fill this space with something meaningful.”

So you’d best keep your eyes out once we finally get a lead on the Special Cape for Minecraft Dungeons II.
