RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0 Launch Is Almost Here

Just one more day before RuneScape: Dragonwilds exits early access and finally steps into 1.0. For this momentous occasion, the developers dropped one more trailer before the big day, offering a quick recap of the adventures players and developers have been through, along with a small taste of the future.

The Journey of Dragonwilds

It’s been over one year since Jagex shadow-dropped Dragonwilds during April of last year. Since then, the game has gone through a mountain of changes. From introducing brand new skills, combat refinements, quests, zones, and slowly fleshing out the Kuldra’s Saga.

Overall, Jagex has stated that a lot of what makes Dragonwilds special, and how it’s ultimately shaping out, is through community feedback. From adding the Magic Staff to updates to building and the teleportation system, this game might not have shaped up the way it did without the community.

1.0 & Beyond

With 1.0 dropping tomorrow, a lot of brand-new features will be arriving as well. Some include a new weapon type, Magic Wands, for spellcasters who need to stay on the move. There’s going to be a handful of brand-new enemies throughout all previous zones, so you might actually want to consider a fresh playthrough.

And players will finally be able to face off against Kuldra, the five-headed dragon god, who is threatening to shatter the remains of the Ashenfall. In order to reach her, players must embark on RuneScape: Dragonwilds major new raid, the Scorned Wilderness.

Instead of a massive new region to explore, players must venture into this gigantic raid, which will throw fragments of familiar past areas, challenges, and enemies all to test your overall skills and see if you have what it takes to fell Kuldra.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds launches tomorrow, on Steam, PS5, XBOX Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, the Epic Games Store, and Jagex Launcher. It’s also available on day 1 with Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.
