Gods, Death & Reapers Is an Extraction RPG With a Twist

The developers at WOLCEN Studio are apparently doing more than just developing their upcoming Wolcen 2, but another multiplayer hack-and-slash isometric action RPG, which is also apparently an extraction shooter as well, or rather a “ExtrAction RPG,” as they call it.

Gods, Death & Reapers invites you to fight through mythological realms, such as Norse mythology, to complete objectives, fight enemies or other players, and extract with loot to restore balance to the shattered realms.

What is Gods, Death & Reapers?

You play as a warrior, a Reaper, recruited by Death itself, where mythologies lie in ruins in this post-apocalyptic dark fantasy world. Wander through what’s left of these realms, face stronger and stronger enemies, take on quests, and search for powerful artifacts and gear. Try out different playstyles through a variety of different weapons and loadouts.

Or whenever you aren’t out slaying, retreat to your hidden fortress where you can customize your loadouts, upgrade your base, and prepare for the next conflict between matches.

More than just PvP

But Gods, Death & Reapers invites you to do more than just simply PvP. There are a bunch of PvE maps that allow you to uncover the mysteries of the world and the dead gods at your own pace without risking your gear. Take on the world by yourself or with your friends in both PvE and PvP

Speaking of which, their PvP mode also has a Respawn mechanic. Death comes with a second chance. After falling for the first time during a match, you can reclaim your own corpse or possess another dead Reaper’s body to finish what you started.

Join the Alpha

Gods, Death & Reapers is also hosting its 6th alpha test, which features some brand new content, including a new realm, weapon, and permanent items. Plus, it’s the perfect time to bring your friends, as this alpha test is also finally adding multiplayer.
