RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0 Is Finally Here

RuneScape: Dragonwilds has officially launched into 1.0. Along with this massive celebration of not only exiting early access, but also officially launching on consoles, there is a mountain of new changes arriving with this latest patch!
The End of Kuldra
The reign of Kuldra, the Dragon Queen, is coming to an end, but in order to face her, you and your friends must push through the new Scorned Wilderness Raid, the ultimate testament to all the challenges and trials you’ve previously overcome. Rather than a massive new region, this Raid is the primary focus of this update, so it’s going to take a lot to prove your worth to face the Dragon Queen.
But even with her defeat, this is far from the end of RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
The Future of Ashenfall
The end of the Kuldra Saga doesn’t mark the end of Dragonwilds. Rather, this is just the beginning. Later this year, you can expect a brand new free Winter Update, and moving into next year, players will embark on a brand new Saga. The Blood Crystal Saga. We currently don’t know much about it, but we might hear more during RuneFest 2026.

New Content
Of course, the 1.0 update is bringing a ton of brand-new content to RuneScape: Dragonwilds, including new items, weapons, armor, magic, enemies, and plenty more. However, we know a lot of survival crafting fans would rather discover some of this new content for themselves.
So, without spoiling too much, here are some of the biggest additions you can expect to find in the RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0 update:
- Added Sprint Attacks
- You can now cancel attacks, gathering, and spell-casting by dodging or blocking
- Added Lumber Storage
- Added Ore & Stone Storage
- Added the Storage Ledger
- Added New Spells
- Skill Talents have been rearranged
- Added the Advanced Spinning Wheel
- Added 10+ New Materials
- Added 10 New Enemy Types
- Added New Late-Game Armor and Weapon Sets
- And much more
If you don’t care about spoilers, you can look at the official blog post to see what new additions have been scattered around the upgrade trees. But we highly recommend starting a fresh playthrough, as this update does add a handful of new enemies and other items to the older regions as well!
