Gamers have finally gotten another small but important detail about GTA 6 answered: just how much storage space will Rockstar’s upcoming blockbuster need at launch?

GTA 6 File Size

Today, the X account PlayStationSize revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI could require a massive 210 GB of storage space at launch. That’s roughly 90 GB more than GTA V, making Rockstar’s upcoming blockbuster a serious commitment for your hard drive.

This massive file size blows plenty of other games out of the water. Even Marvel Rivals, which currently takes up around 86 GB, doesn’t come close to GTA 6’s reported storage requirements.

So, when November 12 rolls around and the preload becomes available, you might want to clear out a massive chunk of your storage space. Otherwise, you may need to invest in an external hard drive just to make room for Rockstar’s next big adventure.

Either way, with a game this massive, GTA 6 better be worth all that space! And remember, this is only the reported launch file size. Who knows how much room a day-one patch or the first few months of updates could demand?
