Lethal Company Version 85 Gets a Massive New Teaser

The creator of Lethal Company, Zeekerss, just dropped a massive teaser for Version 85, confirming that the long-awaited update is expected to arrive sometime this year. Unfortunately, the update was too big to release before Halloween, so fans will have to wait a little longer to see what’s coming.

Just as Halloween comes to an end, Lethal Company, the co-op horror game that took the world by storm back in 2023, has received a new teaser for its upcoming Version 85 update.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Zeekerss, especially following the long wait for the previous major update, Version 80. That update introduced new moons, creatures, and a ton of under-the-hood changes, so it’s no surprise that the next major build is taking some time.

As for when Version 85 will finally drop, we still don’t have an exact release date. Zeekerss says the update will most likely arrive sometime this year, but that depends on how big they want the update to be and how much they want it to bring to the game.

That puts a release sometime in November or December on the table, although an early 2027 launch isn’t out of the question if development takes longer than expected. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Zeekerss has cooking for Lethal Company.
