It’s spooky season, and there’s never been a better time to try and survive a zombie apocalypse! The highly anticipated medieval survival crafting game God Save Birmingham is getting another chance to show players what it has to offer, with an open beta test kicking off next week. Running from November 2 through November 9, players will once again have to fight for survival in a zombie-infested medieval England.

God Save Birmingham Beta 2

This isn’t the first time God Save Birmingham has opened its doors to players. Throughout its previous closed playtests, the medieval streets of Birmingham have already seen more than 67,000 players trying to survive (not counting the zombies, of course).

But Beta 2 is bringing some pretty exciting additions to the table. For starters, players will finally be able to team up with friends thanks to a newly implemented co-op mode in the latest alpha build. Surviving a zombie apocalypse is already difficult enough, so having a few extra hands around should make things a little easier. Or at least give you someone to blame when everything goes wrong.

That’s not all, either. The developers have also introduced a save feature, giving players a way to preserve their progress between sessions. On top of that, the latest build includes plenty of general gameplay improvements, including additional cooking options, more craftable items, and new weapons to help fend off the undead.

With co-op finally making its way into the game and plenty of new survival features to experiment with, Beta 2 looks like a great opportunity to see how far God Save Birmingham has come. You can sign up to join the beta on Steam. Whether you’re a returning player or someone looking to experience the game for the first time, there’s never been a better excuse to see if you can survive medieval Birmingham.
