Space Marine 2 Is Getting a New Class and More in 2027

Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment are back with their monthly update for Space Marine 2. This time around, we have some huge news on the way, including a look at the Year 3 Roadmap, which includes the remaining updates for 2026; moving into 2027, we can expect a brand-new class, weapons, operations, and a lot more.

Year Three Battle Plan

So when it comes to the rest of 2026, fans can expect two more patches this year: Patch 15 on October 1st, and Patch 16 in the winter. Between these patches, we are getting the brand new Chaos Siege mode, the Crucible system, a rework to the Tactical Class, the One-Handed Thunder Hammer, 3 heroic weapons, and armor pieces.

Patch 16 will also bring new weekly PvP stratagems, a rework to Vanguard, 6 new heroic weapons, and another 3 heroic armor pieces.

As for cosmetics, we will also receive the Space Wolves, Exorcists, Deathwatch, and Mortifactors packs.

2027

Moving into 2027, we are getting a brand new class, the Apothecary, along with a new operation, the Absolver Bolt Pistol, 3 new heroic weapons, and the Heavy class is getting a rework. Later in the year, we can expect another new operation, new Crucible reworks, 3 new heroic weapons and armor pieces, a 4th perk row, and a prestige rework. Lastly, near the end of the year, we are going to finally get the Two-Handed Power sword, along with 6 new heroic weapons and 3 armor pieces.

As for cosmetics, we are getting another Imperial Fists and Blood Angels pack, and one for the Minotaurs White Consuls, the Crimson Fists, and one under the title of Redacted. Is this last pack just being kept secret for now, or is Space Marine 2 going to give fans something from either the Cursed Founding or cosmetics from the Legions, stricken from the history books? Or maybe it’ll be a Champion Pack for Chaos Space Marines.
