Dave the Diver Gets Free Guilty Gear Strive DLC

Just days after announcing that Dave the Diver is coming to mobile platforms, Mintrocket is back with another surprise for fans. This time, the indie hit is crossing over with Guilty Gear Strive in a brand-new free DLC update. Honestly, this is one crossover we didn’t see coming, but after seeing Dave team up with Godzilla, I guess anything goes.

Yep, you read that right. The brand-new Dave the Diver X Guilty Gear Strive DLC is now available for free on PC and console platforms. The crossover content was previously exclusive to the Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch, but Mintrocket has finally opened it up to players on other platforms.

The DLC adds a brand-new rhythm game called The Disaster of Passion, along with several unique cosplay costumes inspired by iconic Guilty Gear Strive fighters. These costumes can be found inside Bancho Sushi, giving Dave’s restaurant a fighting-game makeover.

That’s not all, either. The crossover also introduces a brand-new weapon, May’s Anchor, giving players another way to take on the dangers lurking beneath the ocean.

Even after selling more than 10 million copies, Mintrocket continues to support Dave the Diver with fresh content and unexpected collaborations. The developer hasn’t revealed when the Guilty Gear Strive DLC will arrive on mobile, but considering the game’s history of surprises, I’d never say never.
