
<p>BlizzCon 2026 keeps delivering exciting announcements for Overwatch fans, and Blizzard isn’t slowing down. The latest reveal confirms that Dokiwatch is making its return in Season 5, bringing another wave of <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-le-sserafim-skins-spark-price-debate/" target="_blank">colorful new cosmetics</a> to the game.</p>



<h2>Dokiwatch Returns</h2>



<p>That’s right, Dokiwatch is coming back in Season 5, with all-new skins for <strong>Mercy, Anran, Illari, Lifeweaver, and Ramattra</strong>.</p>

<p>Blizzard also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the second wave of Dokiwatch, showcasing concept art and early designs for some of the upcoming cosmetics. Among the highlights was a first look at Ramattra’s new skin, which will be an <strong>Ultra skin</strong>.</p>



<p>While Blizzard hasn’t revealed everything coming with the second Dokiwatch wave just yet, it looks like there’s still more to come.</p>



<p>For now, fans can mark their calendars for <strong>October 20</strong>, when the new Dokiwatch content is going to arrive in <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-season-5-reworks-sombra-and-roadhog/" target="_blank">Overwatch Season 5.</a></p>

Blizzard has confirmed Dokiwatch will return in Season 5, bringing a new wave of colorful skins to Overwatch.


Overwatch Season 5 Brings Back Dokiwatch


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fatshark is back and already announcing they are going to shake up basically all the talents in Darktide yet again. In a recent preview post, the devs talked about a lot of upcoming changes not just to all class talents, but also to the Golden Toughness mechanic.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Changes to Golden Toughness</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When the <a href="https://all.gg/news/darktide-teases-the-prophet-of-decay/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/darktide-teases-the-prophet-of-decay/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Depths of the Damned update</a> arrives, a ton of passives and abilities that currently grant Golden Toughness are going through some major adjustments. The reason being is the developers have stated that:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Golden Toughness is one of the more disruptive mechanics in Darktide. By changing the way damage and toughness interact, it can obscure some of the core rules of combat.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Many players are naturally guided towards abilities that provide&nbsp;<em>Golden Toughness</em>, and these abilities can be highly effective even before a player has developed a strong understanding of the mechanics they are intended to learn, e.g. positioning, and how to engage each type of enemy. This can allow difficult situations to be bypassed or diffused without engaging with the underlying threats, making it harder for players to build that understanding through the intended learning curve.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fatshark also explained that Darktide&#8217;s balance and combat flow have changed significantly since Golden Toughness first arrived. Now, after several years, the developers want Toughness to <strong>&#8220;have consistent and understandable rules regardless of how it is obtained.&#8221;</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So <strong>they are removing the Spillover Immunity effect from Golden Toughness</strong>, and it will now follow the same calculation as regular Toughness. Simply put, this means Golden Toughness will continue to provide extra protection, but <strong>will no longer allow a single point of Toughness to fully absorb the damage of a lethal attack. </strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A mountain of changes is coming. Not just to Toughness passives and talents, but to every build as a result. This includes <strong>the removal of Stat Nodes</strong>, so you won&#8217;t be talenting into extra Toughness, Reload Speed, Melee Damage, etc.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for a general look at all the class changes:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Ogryn is getting some melee and reload buffs, but getting cooldown reduction nerfs.</li>



<li>Zealot is getting a bunch of new talents, all of which are primarily reworks or replacements of their preexisting toughness regeneration or reduction talents.</li>



<li>Psyker is mainly getting two clusters of their talent tree put together, along with a handful of small range buffs.</li>



<li>Veteran is basically getting nerfs to everything that isn&#8217;t the ranged build.</li>



<li>Arbites get a bigger damage bonus for not having a Cyber-Mastiff.</li>



<li>Hive Scum are getting Rampage nerfs.</li>



<li>Skitarius are getting Claw nerfs and buffs to their ranged talents.</li>

Darktide’s Next Update Could Change How Every Class Plays


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Craving a new survival horror experience? What about one that brings back the atmosphere and environments you might remember from your childhood? <p class="wp-block-paragraph">That philosophy comes through immediately in its retro, pixelated atmosphere. DERELIKT takes players to Von Neumann Outpost, a remote research station built into a derelict asteroid orbiting Saturn. The station is falling apart, its systems are failing, its halls are almost completely dark, and the few survivors still inside aren&#8217;t exactly welcoming.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While the deliberately difficult combat helps create that feeling of vulnerability, one of our favorite aspects of DERELIKT so far is its focus on exploration. Backtracking plays such a major role, with new paths and secrets becoming available as you progress through the station.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Not every area will be accessible the first time you pass through it. A locked door might eventually become an alternative route, while a previously overlooked corner could hide an important item. <a href="https://all.gg/news/i-hear-the-forest-is-a-bizarre-slow-burn-horror-game/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/i-hear-the-forest-is-a-bizarre-slow-burn-horror-game/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The more you explore, the more you&#8217;ll start to understand</a> how much the station hides.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For example, you might find a Satchel Charge that can blow open a hidden supply room or create an entirely new route through an area. But before you use it, you might have to wonder whether you&#8217;ll need that same explosive later to deal with one of the horrific abominations lurking further into the station.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Those kinds of decisions are what make DERELIKT&#8217;s atmosphere feel so tense. Every resource matters, and even something as simple as finding a handful of bullets can leave you wondering whether they&#8217;re worth spending.</p>

DERELIKT Brings Classic PS1 Horror Back to Life

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is NightRunner?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NightRunner is a brand-new take on the horde-survival genre that combines several elements from other genres, including tower defense, dungeon crawling, and a bit of extraction gameplay, all rolled into one game. The developers state that NightRunner is heavily inspired by Killing Floor, <a href="https://all.gg/news/modern-warfare-4-may-end-the-current-storyline/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/modern-warfare-4-may-end-the-current-storyline/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CoD Zombies</a> (mainly Tranzit), and Escape from Tarkov.</p>

Start with nothing and slowly build up your NightRunner by taking on various Jobs, defense objectives, side missions, and more, all while searching for gear. You keep everything you find once the train reaches its destination. If the job fails or you die, you lose everything you found.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, NightRunner pulls in a lot of minor and major elements from different games, but nothing fully takes over except the PvE horde-shooter focus. While it does have some extraction elements, it&#8217;s not <a href="https://all.gg/news/gods-death-reapers-is-an-extraction-rpg-with-a-twist/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/gods-death-reapers-is-an-extraction-rpg-with-a-twist/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">an extraction shooter at its core</a>. There are dungeons to explore and even boss encounters, but it&#8217;s not the overarching focus.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s been a little while since we&#8217;ve heard from the developers of No Rest for the Wicked after the team sadly <a href="https://all.gg/news/no-rest-for-the-wicked-1-0-delayed-to-2027/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/no-rest-for-the-wicked-1-0-delayed-to-2027/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announced that the game would be delayed.</a> Thankfully, the silence is finally over, and the developers have returned with our first look at the game&#8217;s brand-new class system.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While we haven&#8217;t seen much yet, the short preview already shows a wide variety of classes that should introduce plenty of new playstyles. The lineup ranges from familiar archetypes like the <strong>Cleric </strong>and <strong>Ranger</strong> to more unique options such as the <strong>Cutthroat, Stormbringer,</strong> and <strong>Dragoon</strong>.</p>

We&#8217;ll get a much closer look at the new class system during the <strong>Wicked Inside showcase in October</strong>, while players will eventually get their hands on the full system when the Open Beta launches in December.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Thankfully, the developers have reassured players that they aren&#8217;t looking to lock anyone into a specific playstyle just because they picked a particular class. Instead, the new system should give players more flexibility.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The developers at WOLCEN Studio are apparently doing more than just developing their <a href="https://all.gg/news/wolcen-2-brings-a-fresh-twist-to-the-arpg-formula/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wolcen-2-brings-a-fresh-twist-to-the-arpg-formula/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upcoming Wolcen 2</a>, but another <a href="https://all.gg/news/arkherons-biggest-beta-yet-starts-september-25/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/arkherons-biggest-beta-yet-starts-september-25/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">multiplayer hack-and-slash isometric action RPG</a>, which is also apparently an extraction shooter as well, or rather a &#8220;ExtrAction RPG,&#8221; as they call it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Gods, Death &amp; Reapers invites you to fight through mythological realms, such as Norse mythology, to complete objectives, fight enemies or other players, and extract with loot to restore balance to the shattered realms.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is Gods, Death &amp; Reapers?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You play as a warrior, a Reaper, recruited by Death itself, where mythologies lie in ruins in this post-apocalyptic dark fantasy world. Wander through what&#8217;s left of these realms, face stronger and stronger enemies, take on quests, and search for powerful artifacts and gear. Try out different playstyles through a variety of different weapons and loadouts.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In a recent X post featuring the latest trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Activision said MW4 will be an &#8220;epic conclusion&#8221; to the<a href="https://all.gg/news/modern-warfare-4-beta-includes-campaign-multiplayer-warzone/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/modern-warfare-4-beta-includes-campaign-multiplayer-warzone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> modern Modern Warfare series</a>. However, it&#8217;s unclear whether this will permanently end the universe, or whether the game will simply wrap up the ongoing storyline that&#8217;s been running for over the past 5 years.</p>

Today NetEase is rolling out some increased penalties for repeat offenses across all tiers of play.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Marvel Rivals is now rolling out a handful of changes targeting players who actively leave, throw, or afk during matches. These penalties apply not only to ranked, but also to casual and arcade matches.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Arkheron, the fast-paced isometric team PvP looter from Bonfire Studios, is gearing up for what could be its biggest beta test yet. Founded by former Blizzard Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Rob Pardo, Bonfire Studios is preparing to let players experience its first game on console for the first time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From September 25 to 27, players on PC and console can jump into the free beta, giving fans another chance to explore Arkheron while <strong>bringing the two platforms together for the first time.</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re <a href="https://all.gg/news/ex-blizzard-dev-reveals-arkheron-a-dark-arpg-battle-royale/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/ex-blizzard-dev-reveals-arkheron-a-dark-arpg-battle-royale/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">unfamiliar with Arkheron</a>, the game combines the competitive chaos of a battle royale with the progression and loot systems of a PvP extraction-style game. Players spawn into <strong>The Tower</strong>, a dangerous multi-floor battlefield filled with hostile NPCs and rival teams.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Your goal is to explore each floor, defeat enemies, and scavenge for powerful weapons and pieces of armor. Every piece of gear comes with its own stats, as well as different active and passive abilities that can completely change how your character plays.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The strongest weapons and armor are also tied to specific sets, letting you mix and match gear to create powerful combinations. If you manage to collect an entire set, you&#8217;ll unlock the ability to transform into an <strong>Eternal</strong>, granting you a unique fifth ability and taking your build to another level.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The First Arkheron Cross-Platform Beta</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From <strong>September 25 to 27</strong>, players will once again be able to jump into the Arkheron beta for free. However, this test brings a major first to the game: PC and console players can play together for the first time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The beta will also introduce several improvements and two different ways to play.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First up is <strong>Ascension</strong>, where up to <strong>15 teams and 45 players</strong> battle their way through The Tower. You&#8217;ll need to fight monsters, eliminate rival teams, and push through each floor as you work your way toward the summit. This all culminates in a final showdown where the winner takes all.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re looking for something a little more focused and faster, you can jump into <strong>Spires</strong>, a newer <strong>3v3 arena mode</strong> designed to be more like team deathmatch. The mode gives players a chance to experiment with different builds, sharpen their teamwork, and get a better feel for Arkheron&#8217;s combat without having to fight through an entire match of Ascension.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In a surprise announcement, Rockstar has just revealed some of the first details surrounding the Grand Theft Auto VI Album. Included in this are an early look at some of the songs on the soundtrack, as well as all you need to know about the limited editions available to preorder now.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Vice City Tracks</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In this partnership with Atlantic Records, Rockstar has confirmed that the album will be released on November 19th alongside Grand Theft Auto VI. The <a href="https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/7599a881942544/announcing-grand-theft-auto-vi-the-album-coming-november-19" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/7599a881942544/announcing-grand-theft-auto-vi-the-album-coming-november-19">accompanying blog post</a> explained how the soundtrack will &#8220;capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI&#8217;s world of Vice City and Leonida.&#8221; With the Grand Theft Auto VI Album featuring &#8220;a genre-defying roster of the most exciting artists in the world.&#8221;</p>

Over the past weekend, the developers announced that the game has now surpassed another major milestone, with over <strong>2 million copies sold</strong>. Alongside this, WARDOGS also set another new peak player record a few days ago, reaching <strong>428,666 players on Steam</strong>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2 Million WARDOGS</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <a href="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-launch-trailer-channels-halo-3/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-launch-trailer-channels-halo-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">opening month for <strong>WARDOGS</strong></a> is still going strong, and the game has now sold over <strong>2 million copies</strong> since launch. To top it all off, its peak Steam player count record has been shattered once again, with the new record sitting at <strong><a href="https://steamdb.info/app/1867240/charts/" data-type="link" data-id="https://steamdb.info/app/1867240/charts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">428,666 players</a></strong>. That&#8217;s around 28,000 <a href="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-hits-400k-players-on-day-3/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-hits-400k-players-on-day-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">more players than the previous record.</a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On top of these milestones, the developers have also shared a bunch of interesting community stats, including the total amount of cash earned and spent, along with the number of kills, revives, headshots, and more.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The data also shows how much XP players have earned across each role. For the most part, the numbers are surprisingly even, although it seems there are still barely any Pilots out there.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deadlock just dropped their latest balance patch, and it&#8217;s going to be the last one <a href="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-patch-delayed-until-september/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-patch-delayed-until-september/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">before the massive new update</a>, which should be arriving at the end of the month. Still, there are a ton of overarching changes and tweaks arriving with this patch, so let&#8217;s get to some of the biggest highlights.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Patch 09-16 Highlights</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Firstly, the Unstable Rift is changing again, mainly on the economic front; meanwhile, Guardians and Walkers are getting a slight buff to their bounties.</p>

<li>Removed a fixed amount of extra bonus souls you would get for being behind even a very slightly amount in net worth for both hero kill bounties as well as Unstable Rift bounties (this had a larger impact on the early to mid game)</li>



<li>Slightly reduced comeback bounties in general (this is in addition to the above change)</li>



<li>A portion of the comeback souls earned by players above enemy teams average net worth is instead distributed via the tick gold system that is given to the lowest 2 players (70% of the extra comeback value goes to them)Guardian bounty increased by 10%</li>



<li>Walker bounty increased by 5%</li>



<li>Share for objectives bounty to nearby heroes reduced from 30% to 25% (the remaining gets split between all 6 players)</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Today was a big day for Capcom and Monster Hunter Fans alike. Not only did Capcom drop a bunch of info about several <a href="https://all.gg/news/dragons-dogma-2-dark-arisen-gets-new-trailer/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/dragons-dogma-2-dark-arisen-gets-new-trailer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upcoming projects</a> at this year&#8217;s TGS 2026, but this also included an extended version of the 1st Trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Return of Teostra, Again</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The brand new Monster Hunter Wilds trailer finally gives hunters a longer look at some of the new monsters and the brand new Boosted Action system arriving with the Ascendance DLC. First, let&#8217;s get the obvious out of the way. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yes, Teostra is back again. Capcom really likes bringing back the Flame King to basically every modern Monster Hunter Title at this point. From MH2, Freedom Unite, MH4, all the way through World, Rise, and now they are landing in Ascendance.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Boosted Actions</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you have been playing any recent modern Monster Hunter title, you are very familiar with how Capcom loves experimenting with new tools and mechanics for hunters to play with. From Wirebugs to the Clutch Claw, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is now introducing <strong>Boosted Actions for all 14 weapon types.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Simply put, Boosted Actions introduce a brand new meter that hunters will fill up throughout combat by damaging monsters. Once the meter is full, you can boost your next skill action, further enhancing it by giving yourself i-frames, more damage, longer attack combos, offset attacks, or changing the way that individual move works altogether. Of course, <strong>this all depends on the weapon.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can use Boosted Actions even in the middle of your attack chain to enhance a specific move or just to capitalize on the opening. There are a lot of ways you can use Boosted Actions, but thankfully Capcom has put together a 16-minute video giving hunters a good showcase of all 14 weapons.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Today was a big day for Capcom. During Tokyo Game Show 2026, the company finally unveiled a fresh look at the upcoming Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion, while also confirming that the expansion will mark the game’s debut on Nintendo Switch 2.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Dark Rises</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Capcom is certainly riding the wave of renewed Dragon’s Dogma 2 hype. Fans have been returning to the game in droves following the Dark Arisen announcement back in June, with the recent 3.1 and 3.2 quality-of-life updates also bringing a mountain of welcome changes to the game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now, during TGS 2026, Capcom has finally dropped the main trailer for <strong>Dark Arisen</strong>, giving players a closer look at the new storylines and adventures waiting in the snowy North of the Forsaken Dominion.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Players will journey to the long-forgotten region of Norgan, where they will join forces with the enigmatic Eir. Together, they will attempt to unravel the secrets surrounding the mysterious and seemingly undying Fallen Dragon.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The expansion isn&#8217;t stopping at a new storyline, either. Dark Arisen will introduce <strong>12 new Dungeon Challenges</strong>, giving players even more difficult encounters to tackle. The DLC will also add new hairstyles and tattoos, giving players additional ways to customize their characters.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pawns are getting some attention as well. The expansion will introduce new partner-made Pawns, with even more official Pawns planned to arrive at a later date.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re just<a href="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> jumping into Valheim for the first time</a>, or you&#8217;re starting a brand-new playthrough for the <a href="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">1.0 update</a>, there&#8217;s an early-game weapon you might not even know exists. If you can get your hands on it, the weapon can make the early game an absolute breeze.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Early Axes</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the Valheim 5th Anniversary patch, the developers added a brand-new early-game weapon that you can find relatively easily throughout the Meadows biome. The <strong>Early Axes</strong> are the first dual-wielding weapon players can get their hands on, featuring a four-hit combo with alternating swings before finishing with two double-hit attacks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, there is a catch. You can&#8217;t simply craft these axes yourself. Instead, you&#8217;ll need to scavenge two separate axe heads before you can actually make the weapon.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>Curious Axe Head</strong> can be found inside a chest in <strong>Variant 6 of the Abandoned House</strong>, which resembles an abandoned tower.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>Mysterious Axe Head</strong> can be found inside a chest in <strong>Variant 2 of the Abandoned House</strong>, which looks more like a small longhouse.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Unfortunately, finding the correct house variant isn&#8217;t the only hurdle. You also need to get lucky enough for that house to actually contain a chest. Even then, there&#8217;s still a 50/50 chance that the chest will contain the axe head you&#8217;re looking for.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So, getting both pieces can take a little bit of luck.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Become a Berserker</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But once you&#8217;ve managed to find both axe heads, you can combine them at a <strong>Crafting Bench</strong> to create the Early Axes. The weapon deals both <strong>Slash and Chopping damage</strong> and has an incredibly fast attack speed. Even at its base level, the axes can easily stun-lock enemies like Greylings and Greydwarfs.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">They&#8217;re also surprisingly useful once you enter the <strong>Black Forest</strong>. Slash is the only damage type that <strong>Bears</strong> aren&#8217;t resistant to, making the Early Axes a fantastic option for hunting them down.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And that&#8217;s not even the best part.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Early Axes are arguably one of the best early-game weapons in Valheim because upgrading them is incredibly cheap. You&#8217;ll only need Wood and Leather Scraps to improve them, meaning you don&#8217;t have to burn <a href="https://all.gg/news/how-to-tame-animals-in-valheim/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/how-to-tame-animals-in-valheim/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">through valuable metals</a> just to keep the weapon competitive.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you fully upgrade the Early Axes, they can deal roughly the same amount of damage as a <strong>base-level Bronze weapon</strong>. That means a lucky find can potentially carry you all the way from the Meadows and deep into the Black Forest without needing to immediately invest in a new weapon.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The only real downside is, of course, actually finding the axe heads. If you&#8217;re playing with friends and want everyone to have a pair, you&#8217;re going to need to get very lucky or prepare to explore several different Meadows biomes in search of the right Abandoned Houses.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Still, if you&#8217;re starting a fresh Valheim world, these axes are absolutely worth keeping an eye out for.</p>


The Early Axes are one of Valheim’s most overlooked weapons, and they can carry you through the Meadows and Black Forest.


How to Get Valheim’s Early Axes


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fatshark has dropped a massive new teaser trailer for an upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Darktide update arriving later this month. The new trailer gives players their first real look at what awaits them beneath the hive city, teasing a brand-new enemy, new weapons, and plenty more for Rejects to discover.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Depths of the Damned</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The brand-new Depths of the Damned trailer follows the recently recruited members of the <a href="https://all.gg/news/new-darktide-class-meet-the-hive-scum/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/new-darktide-class-meet-the-hive-scum/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hive Scum gangs</a> as they venture into a new lower level of Tertium through the Spillway.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rather than simply throwing another standard enemy type at players, Fatshark is introducing a brand-new boss: The Prophet of Decay. This mysterious Psyker has made the depths of the Torrent its domain, and players will likely encounter the powerful Chaos spawn while fighting through the new Spillway map in the Depths zone.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The End of Kuldra</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The reign of Kuldra, the Dragon Queen, is coming to an end, but in order to face her, you and your friends must push through the new <a href="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-1-0-launch-is-almost-here/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-1-0-launch-is-almost-here/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Scorned Wilderness Raid</a>, the ultimate testament to all the challenges and trials you&#8217;ve previously overcome. Rather than a massive new region, this Raid is the primary focus of this update, so it&#8217;s going to take a lot to prove your worth to face the Dragon Queen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The end of the Kuldra Saga doesn&#8217;t mark the end of Dragonwilds. Rather, this is just the beginning. Later this year, you can expect a brand new free Winter Update, and moving into next year, players will embark on a brand new Saga. <strong>The Blood Crystal Saga</strong>. We currently don&#8217;t know much about it, but we might hear more during RuneFest 2026.</p>

Gears of War: E-Day Gets a Dark New Trailer


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The hype surrounding Valheim 1.0 and the long-awaited <a href="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Deep North update</a> shows no signs of slowing down. Vikings from across the world continue to return to the 10th Realm, and this weekend saw the <a href="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-draws-168k-players-on-launch-day/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-draws-168k-players-on-launch-day/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">game&#8217;s player count explode</a> once again.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In fact, Valheim just recorded its <strong>second-biggest player spike in the game&#8217;s history</strong>, proving that even after years of waiting, the Viking survival adventure still has plenty of life left in it.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">300K Vikings</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This weekend was massive for Valheim. The game reached a staggering <strong>308,477 concurrent players on Steam</strong>, according to <a href="https://steamdb.info/app/892970/charts/#max" data-type="link" data-id="https://steamdb.info/app/892970/charts/#max" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SteamDB</a>, marking the second-highest player count Valheim has ever recorded.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s an incredible milestone for a game that originally launched in early access back in 2021. The arrival of the Deep North and the long-awaited 1.0 release has clearly given both longtime Vikings and <a href="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">newcomers a reason to return</a> to the 10th Realm.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What&#8217;s even more impressive is that Valheim reached this milestone during the chaotic <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BlizzCon 2026 weekend</a>. With Blizzard&#8217;s massive event dominating the gaming news cycle, Valheim still managed to pull hundreds of thousands of players back into its world.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now, one major question remains: <strong>Can Valheim finally surpass its original player count record?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Valheim&#8217;s all-time Steam peak was set more than five years ago during the 2021 lockdown, when the game exploded in popularity. That record has remained untouched ever since, but the launch of Deep North and the1.0 update have brought the game closer than ever. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Journey of Dragonwilds</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s been over one year since Jagex shadow-dropped Dragonwilds during April of last year. Since then, the game has gone through a mountain of changes. From introducing<a href="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-final-update-before-1-0-arrives/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-final-update-before-1-0-arrives/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> brand new skills</a>, combat refinements, quests, zones, and slowly fleshing out the <strong>Kuldra’s Saga</strong>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, Jagex has stated that a lot of what makes Dragonwilds special, and how it&#8217;s ultimately shaping out, is through community feedback. From adding the Magic Staff to updates to building and the teleportation system, this game might not have shaped up the way it did without the community.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1.0 &amp; Beyond</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With 1.0 dropping tomorrow, a lot of brand-new features will be arriving as well. Some include a new weapon type, Magic Wands, for spellcasters who need to stay on the move. There&#8217;s going to be a handful of brand-new enemies throughout all previous zones, so you might actually want to consider a fresh playthrough.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And players will finally be able to face off against Kuldra, the five-headed dragon god, who is threatening to shatter the remains of the Ashenfall. In order to reach her, players must embark on RuneScape: Dragonwilds major new raid, the Scorned Wilderness.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Instead of a massive new region to explore, players must venture into this gigantic raid, which will throw fragments of familiar past areas, challenges, and enemies all to test your overall skills and see if you have what it takes to fell Kuldra.</p>

In this new trailer, fans finally get to see some fresh gameplay for the newly introduced Acolyte and the return of the fan favorite Enforcer!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heed The Concepts</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s been a while since we&#8217;ve got any major news regarding the upcoming Risk of Rain 2 DLC, outside of the Dev Diary Series. But now all eyes are on Gearbox as they are planning to drop another duo Survivor DLC.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Firstly, there is the new arrival, Acolyte. She is described as a &#8220;close-range glaive-wielding&#8221; who can chain together combos. From her trailer, it appears that she can build up power or a meter based on enemy or possibly ally deaths, which unleashes a massive AOE.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Other than that, she has a lot of hack-and-slash moves like Mercenary, but also has the ability to sacrifice enemies, which also seems to add to her meter.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for the second new arrival, old-school Risk of Rain 1 fans already know what the Enforcer is about. But from his ROR2 gameplay, we can see he still retains his ability to not just block but even parry enemy attacks. But easily, his coolest ability is to spam a flag into the ground, establishing a Rally Point, which no doubt will provide him and nearby allies with some buffs.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sadly, despite all of this exciting news, we still currently have no idea when the Hallowed Concepts DLC will be dropping. So in the meantime, keep your eyes peeled; it could be arriving any day now from the looks of it.</p>

After <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmKrKTwtukE">Valve&#8217;s showcase last November</a> revealed the Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and Steam Frame eager VR enthusiasts have had to wait almost an entire year to place preorders and reservations for the headset.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Steam Frame At Last</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Valve VR fans have been waiting for a long time. It has been six years since the release of Valve&#8217;s previous headset, the Valve Index, and ten months from the announcement of the Steam Frame. But finally the wait is over! Much like the Steam Machine, Valve is using a raffle system for the initial Steam Frame sales. Where anyone can enter themselves once between now and September 17th to enter their name into a ballot. Everyone will receive an email from Vale within one day confirming their results and the lucky winners can order their headset.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of Valve&#8217;s key selling points was the seamless integration of the Steam Frame with other Valve hardware, especially the Steam Controller and Steam Machine. The Steam Controller can be used instead of the pair included with the Steam Frame for playing non-VR games (which the Steam Frame also supports), and the Steam Machine can handle streaming the more intensive VR titles directly to the headset. </p>

It&#8217;s important to note that the Frame itself does not come with a power supply, with Valve selling that separately for $29. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There also exists both an Ergonomic Accessories Kit containing two controller hand straps, an upper headset strap, and an extended light blocker for $59, as well as an Accessory Replacement Kit featuring a face gasket and head cushion, as well as a standard light blocker. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BlizzCon 2026 keeps delivering exciting announcements for Overwatch fans, and Blizzard isn&#8217;t slowing down. The latest reveal confirms that Dokiwatch is making its return in Season 5, bringing another wave of <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-le-sserafim-skins-spark-price-debate/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-le-sserafim-skins-spark-price-debate/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">colorful new cosmetics</a> to the game.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BlizzCon Day 2 still has plenty in store for Overwatch fans, and Blizzard has already revealed <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-le-sserafim-skins-spark-price-debate/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-le-sserafim-skins-spark-price-debate/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">another major collaboration</a> coming to the game. This time, Overwatch is teaming up with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, with the crossover currently planned for <strong>2027</strong>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Another Day, Another Collab</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s right, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is heading to Overwatch. Unfortunately, Blizzard hasn&#8217;t revealed many details about the collaboration just yet, including which heroes will be receiving skins or what players can expect from the event.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, the timing of the crossover is particularly interesting. The collaboration is expected to arrive after the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, meaning Blizzard could potentially pull inspiration from both seasons of the anime.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That opens the door for plenty of possibilities, especially if Blizzard decides to bring characters from the upcoming second season into the game alongside some familiar faces from the original series.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For now, though, we&#8217;ll have to wait for more details. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming to Overwatch in 2027, so keep your eyes peeled for more information as we get closer to the crossover.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The newest <strong>Overwatch x LE SSERAFIM collaboration is now live</strong>, bringing a fresh collection of K-pop-inspired skins to the game. For a limited time, players can grab new cosmetics for D.Va, Moira, Mizuki, Sierra, Anran, and Freja.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While the latest collaboration is already proving to be a hit with some fans, there is one major point of contention surrounding the event: <strong>the price</strong>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Made My Night Collection</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The third LE SSERAFIM crossover with <a href="https://all.gg/games/overwatch/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/games/overwatch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Overwatch </a>is officially live and will run from <strong>September 12 through September 28</strong>. Alongside the brand-new Made My Night collection, Blizzard is also bringing back the previous Fearless skinline, this time with new recolors for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And if that&#8217;s not enough, players can also earn some <strong>free rewards</strong> by completing in-game challenges, including a new reward featuring Fawksey James Junkrat.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So, on paper, there is <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">plenty for Overwatch players to get excited about</a>. Unfortunately, the excitement starts to fade once you take a look at the price tag.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Too Bright, Too Expensive</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is one glaring issue with this collaboration: <strong>the skins are expensive</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A single skin from the new LE SSERAFIM collection costs <strong>$20</strong>, which is already a pretty steep asking price for one cosmetic. If you want to collect the entire bundle, even with its advertised 74% discount, you&#8217;re still looking at spending <strong>well over $100</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s a tough sell, especially when the collaboration is built around one of the biggest K-pop groups in the world. In fact, it&#8217;s arguably cheaper to buy a ticket to see LE SSERAFIM live than to purchase most of the skin bundles in Overwatch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The community has already been increasingly vocal about the <a href="https://all.gg/news/get-a-free-mythic-voucher-in-overwatch-before-october-5/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/get-a-free-mythic-voucher-in-overwatch-before-october-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pricing of Mythic</a> and Ultra-tier cosmetics, and those complaints aren&#8217;t likely to disappear anytime soon. With the LE SSERAFIM collaboration putting another hefty price tag on its cosmetics, <strong>Overwatch players are likely to have plenty more to say about Blizzard&#8217;s pricing strategy.</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To obtain any drops, all you have to do is make sure your Rivals account and Twitch are connected. Afterward, watch any Drops-enabled Marvel Rivals streams in the <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/marvel-rivals" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marvel Rivals section</a>. You’ll see your progress tracked in the Twitch Drops Inventory as you watch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After you’ve reached the required watch time, go to your Twitch Drops Inventory and manually claim the reward. The item will then be sent to your Rivals account and will usually appear in your in-game inbox or rewards section after you log in.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now that the weekend has finally arrived and WARDOGS’ servers have started to stabilize, the battlefields are beginning to flood with even more players. It’s now Day 3, and the weekend crowd has officially arrived, bringing another massive player-count record with them.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The hype surrounding WARDOGS shows no signs of slowing down, as today’s peak player count has once again <a href="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-hits-365k-players-after-selling-1-25m-copies/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-hits-365k-players-after-selling-1-25m-copies/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shattered the previous record.</a></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Things Are Looking Up</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The WARDOGS launch has certainly had its ups and downs. From server issues that prevented players from getting into matches despite making it through the queue, to the various smaller hiccups along the way, the launch has been anything but smooth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Despite those issues, however, player interest and the community’s commitment to the game remain incredibly strong.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the time of writing, <strong>400,196 players have logged into WARDOGS on Day 3</strong>, marking another huge milestone for the game. With the weekend only halfway over, it will be interesting to see just how high that number climbs before the day is over.</p>

With players competing for a share of the massive prize pool, there’s certainly no shortage of reasons to keep dropping into the battlefield.</p>

Blizzard not only revealed a <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">brand-new Support Hero</a> and <a href="https://all.gg/news/get-a-free-mythic-voucher-in-overwatch-before-october-5/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/get-a-free-mythic-voucher-in-overwatch-before-october-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a free Mythic Skin</a>. But Roadhog and Sombra are getting another massive rework!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Season 5 Reworks</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First, the biggest rework is going to be Sombra. She is completely swapping roles after years as a DPS. Now she&#8217;s a Support, with her Hotfix hacking ability changing to heal allies over time. She can still hack health packs and most enemy deployables.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She is still keeping her Translocator, and now she can launch a projectile with Cyberspace that explodes on impact, weakening enemies and healing your allies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her ultimate is mostly the same, but of course, with the role change, all of her perks are getting changes as well.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for Roadhog, the big lad is still staying as a Tank, but now he can absorb enemy projectiles with Trash Compactor before firing back a massive scrap pile. He is still keeping his iconic hook and Rebreather.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This change is ultimately trying to remove the hook-into-instant-death combo, but he still appears to be very strong from what we&#8217;ve seen on the BlizzCon showroom floor.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And just like Sombra, Roadhog is also getting some brand-new perks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, both of these characters have been balancing nightmares for Overwatch over the years, but maybe Blizzard finally got them right this time. Only time will tell.</p>


Sombra is becoming a Support while Roadhog gets a major Tank rework in Overwatch Season 5, bringing huge changes to both heroes.

Not only did Blizzard reveal the <a href="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/overwatch-reveals-new-hero-doctrine-at-blizzcon-2026/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">brand-new Support hero Doctrine</a> during the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony, but the celebration also comes with an exciting freebie for players. As part of the festivities, Blizzard is giving everyone a free Mythic Voucher to unlock a Mythic Skin of their choice.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Grab Your Free Mythic Skin</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That’s right! As part of the massive BlizzCon celebration, players who log into Overwatch between now and October 5 will receive a free Mythic Voucher. This voucher can be used to select <strong>any Mythic Skin from Seasons 1–14</strong>, giving players a chance to finally pick up a skin they may have missed or have been saving up for.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For players who have been eyeing one of Overwatch’s many Mythic Skins, this is a pretty great opportunity to grab one without having to wait for it to potentially return.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, keep one important thing in mind before spending your voucher. Be careful when choosing some of the newer Mythic Skins that feature additional customization levels. We aren&#8217;t 100% sure whether players can level these skins up outside their original season, or whether selecting one with the voucher will automatically unlock all four levels.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Doctrine Escapes Into Overwatch</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As the latest <a href="https://all.gg/games/overwatch/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/games/overwatch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Overwatch</a> story saga continues, Doomfist is looking to forge a new gauntlet, but he’s going to need some help from an old friend. A new trailer gives players a glimpse at the events they’ll soon experience in a brand-new map, Watchpoint: Grimsvotn.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Players will join Doomfist and Talon as they lay siege to Grimsvotn in an attempt to break Overwatch’s newest Support hero, Doctrine, out of his holding cell. While we don&#8217;t know too much about the mysterious hero just yet, we do know that he commands a swarm of mechanical bats capable of stealing life force.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">These bats not only make Doctrine appear younger, but they also fit into his role as a Support hero, allowing him to use their life-stealing abilities to heal his allies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Doctrine will be available during a limited-time Hero Trial from September 12–14, giving players their first chance to try out the new hero before he officially arrives with Season 5.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Combat in SPRAWL Zero is very fast, but not unnecessarily jumpy or twitchy. <a href="https://all.gg/news/one-of-the-best-retro-fps-games-cultic-comes-to-consoles/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/one-of-the-best-retro-fps-games-cultic-comes-to-consoles/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">It&#8217;s grounded, has weight, and packs a punch.</a> Despite there being 40 different weapons, each one feels very unique. They&#8217;re often familiar, but different enough to catch you by surprise with, at the very least, their amazing sound design.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But what easily sets this game apart from the rest is what you are fighting against. The enemy AI is far beyond what average FPS games offer you. Enemies will communicate with one another, attempt to flank, and outposition you during gunfights.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But you will need to do more than just outsmart your enemy. You need to control the flow of combat. Catch their bullets and throw them right back with the Gravity Shield, or bend your shots midair with Bullet-Time for inhuman precision. Use your augmented body to its full capacity and push the limits of your combat prowess.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We could go on and on about the amazing level design, set pieces, soundtrack, enemy variety, and much more, but then we would be here all day. And we don&#8217;t want to spoil too much for you.</p>

We&#8217;ve also got some brand-new costumes, some new Team-Up abilities, and more.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Butcher&#8217;s Blasphemy </h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://all.gg/news/marvel-rivals-season-10-changes-over-30-heroes/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/marvel-rivals-season-10-changes-over-30-heroes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10 of Marvel Rivals</a> is now on live servers. With this new season, we have <a href="https://all.gg/news/gorr-the-god-butcher-joins-marvel-rivals-season-10/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/gorr-the-god-butcher-joins-marvel-rivals-season-10/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a brand new Duelist, Gorr, the God Butcher</a>, who made a very dramatic entrance by actually causing the first playable character death in the series. But that apparently didn&#8217;t last long. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For a short time, Yggsgard was void of life and color, as the God of Lies was struck down by Gorr. Now, in a twist of fate, which also connects to this season&#8217;s battle pass, God Bomb. Loki is reborn as The Chronicler.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While this is an interesting turn of events, in actuality Loki&#8217;s death really only lasted about one or two days before the sudden resurrection. On the one hand, it would have been interesting to actually keep Loki dead for a bit longer and revive him at the start of the second half of the season, since Season 10 is only getting one hero this time around, aka Gorr.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Speaking of whom, it is also introducing two brand new Team-Ups: one with Hela and another for Venom.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Return of Season 4&#8217;s Battle Pass</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It seems NetEase is keeping the Battle Pass return trend going. From now until September 24th, you will have a chance to go back in time and progress or finish up Season 4&#8217;s Battle Pass</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And like every season, we have a mountain of new skins and costumes that are arriving with this season. If you are running low on animal meat for cooking, need some extra pelts for storage, or want a trusty companion, animal taming can make <a href="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a massive difference in your playthrough.</a></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Tame Animals</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Taming animals can provide a ton of long-term benefits for you and your fellow Vikings, but it can be a little bit difficult to get started. Also, before we begin, this guide includes spoilers for animals and creatures found in later biomes, so read with care.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To tame an enemy, you need to build a secure location to capture and feed it. All tameable animals will either be scared or hostile at first, which is why you might want to lure them into a makeshift pit or hole.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The first animal you can tame in Valheim is the common Boar, and they are the easiest. Boars can be aggressive or frightened by your presence or a Fire source. Once you lure a boar into an enclosure, crouch/sneak away until they no longer detect you.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Then throw either:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Into the pit. Stay within the area while the animal feeds. <strong>Taming takes 30 minutes of real-life gameplay with three pieces of food</strong>, so you are going to be here for a while.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once a Boar is tamed, they will seek freedom, so keep them inside an enclosure. As long as you have two Boars tamed, you can have them breed as long as you give them food.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The most important part to note is that if you capture a One Star or two Star Boar, their offspring will retain the Star rank. This gives you even more meat and pelts when you slay them. You can also craft a <strong>Butcher knife</strong> to kill tamed animals without enabling friendly fire.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mid to Late Game Animals</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Loxs in the Plains can also be tamed, and they are easily the biggest creature you can win over. While their size is massive and they will take up a lot of space in your base, the advantage of taming them is that you can ride them around. By crafting a<strong> Lox Saddle</strong>, you can ride them around as gigantic, earth-quaking mounts.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">WARDOGS is easily one of the more highly anticipated shooters of this year, and players are flooding in fast and with full force. Currently, at the time of writing, WARDOGS has already pushed past <strong>337,157</strong> players during its first few hours. Alongside this, the brand-new title from Bulkhead has already sold 1 million copies on day one.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This massive support likely stems from a mix of several factors. The developers have been very active and open with the community, and thus so many players feel they already have a stronger connection compared to other developers.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The big day is finally here. After 4+ years of development and several very successful betas, WARDOGS has now officially launched into early access. Within a few hours of launch, players have already begun flooding the servers and breaking WARDOGS&#8217; previous beta peak player count.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Play Like You Used To</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">WARDOGS is now officially entering early access, and thousands of players are already rushing onto the battlefield. At the time of writing, the brand-new peak player count is <strong>337,157</strong>, just from the opening hours. This smashes the previous <strong>245,118</strong> <a href="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-playtest-hits-245k-players-on-day-3/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-playtest-hits-245k-players-on-day-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Open Beta player count</a> right out of the park.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, lots of players are reporting server issues and trouble logging in, which is currently causing the official Steam Review score to plummet to Mixed as well. Once these issues are fixed, we are very likely to see another massive player spike; in the end, the developers got what they asked for: player-breaking server numbers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Along with WARDOGS going into early access, the developers also pushed out a very special trailer. The brand new Launch Trailer is a clear homage to the iconic <a href="https://youtu.be/a3ZGGIdpfEM" data-type="link" data-id="https://youtu.be/a3ZGGIdpfEM" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Halo 3 Believe trailer</a>, featuring the same backing track, pacing, camera shots, and more.</p>

Even as the release date draws closer, Rockstar has yet to reveal when the game&#8217;s multiplayer mode will arrive, leaving fans increasingly curious about what to expect. However, screenshots from an employee tribunal in Edinburgh have now revealed just how seriously Rockstar is taking its efforts to keep GTA 6 Online information under lock and key.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Secrets That We Keep</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Screenshots from today&#8217;s employee tribunal shed some light on the measures Rockstar has taken to keep GTA 6 and its related projects under wraps. While some of the details aren&#8217;t particularly surprising, they offer an interesting look at just how tightly Rockstar controls access to its unreleased games.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Visitors must sign an NDA, photography is prohibited, and even contractors are escorted by security. Personal devices, including phones and laptops, also cannot connect to Rockstar&#8217;s internal systems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The filing also reveals that Rockstar has gone to considerable lengths to protect its secrets. The company reportedly has a five-person investigation team dedicated to tracking potential data breaches, with investigations dating back as far as 2022. One passage even compares protecting Rockstar&#8217;s games to Apple protecting the iPhone or Coca-Cola protecting its secret formula, stating that &#8220;guarding the secrets of the unique gameplay and design&#8221; is a major priority.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The filing also cites the <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-leak-reveals-removed-features-and-major-changes/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-leak-reveals-removed-features-and-major-changes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2025 GameRoll leak</a> as an example of an employee breach of confidentiality.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Perhaps more interestingly, the filing states that employees discussed features for a confidential project in a private Discord server. Those discussions reportedly referenced &#8220;an online 32 player format,&#8221; which is very likely referring to GTA Online.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, this does <strong>not</strong> confirm that <a href="https://all.gg/news/could-gta-6-online-really-take-2-years-to-arrive/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/could-gta-6-online-really-take-2-years-to-arrive/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GTA 6 Online</a> will only have 32 players at launch. The wording simply shows that Rockstar was discussing a 32-player format as part of a highly confidential project at the time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For now, it&#8217;s clear that Rockstar is going to extraordinary lengths to protect information surrounding GTA 6. And if these documents are anything to go by, fans shouldn&#8217;t expect the developer to reveal much about GTA 6 Online anytime soon.</p>

After being defeated by Musashi in a duel, Ganryu becomes obsessed with becoming strong enough to defeat him. This leads him to a mysterious artifact known as the Oni Gauntlet, that can grant him the power he needs to face Musashi once again.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Well, that is certainly one way to wake up to some gaming news.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">PlayStation has officially stepped away from its collaboration with Kojima Productions on Physint, Hideo Kojima&#8217;s upcoming action-espionage game. And this is not even the entire story, because Kojima has confirmed that Xbox is now partnering with the studio to continue the project.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The change was announced today by both companies. Kojima revealed that the switch happened after PlayStation unexpectedly told Kojima Productions in June that they would cancel the project. So it is not really new, but we are guessing they needed a few months to find a new partner for the game. And Xbox did step in at the right time, it seems!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PlayStation Is No Longer Involved With Physint</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So, what happened exactly here? Physint was supposed to be the successor to Metal Gear Solid, and it is from Kojima, so it is a pretty good game to bet on and to keep, from a business-only point of view. Yet PlayStation Studios announced early this morning that they had made the &#8220;difficult decision&#8221; to step away from their collaboration with Kojima Productions on Physint.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The company did not provide a reason for the decision, but from the looks of it, the relationship with Kojima and the studio remains strong. PlayStation said they continue to have &#8220;great admiration&#8221; for Hideo Kojima&#8217;s vision and pointed toward the three decades of creative cooperation with the legendary developer.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That is certainly a very diplomatic way of putting it. But when you look at Kojima&#8217;s statement, it sounds a little bit different.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A second statement came shortly after the PlayStation one, where Kojima revealed that Kojima Productions received a notice from PlayStation in mid-June that the Physint project would be cancelled. He was not willing to let the project die, spending the following three months searching for a new partner. And eventually, they found one.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Xbox Is Taking Over the Partnership</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So yes, Xbox is taking over. Kojima confirmed that they teamed up with Xbox, saying the two companies share a common vision for the future. The partnership expands on the relationship between Xbox and Kojima Productions that already exists through OD, the studio&#8217;s mysterious horror project being developed with Xbox. Xbox itself confirmed that they will partner with Kojima Productions to publish Physint, with Xbox CEO Asha Sharma saying the company is honored that Kojima chose Xbox for the project.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So despite PlayStation&#8217;s involvement ending, Physint itself is very much alive, and development is continuing, but it will just continue on the Xbox side, and not PlayStation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Physint was originally revealed as a new action-espionage project from Kojima Productions, with Kojima describing it as a return to the genre he helped define during his time working on Metal Gear. We still know surprisingly little about the game, and there is also no release date or launch window at this point, so do not expect to be playing it anytime soon. OD is supposed to come first, so we probably have to wait a few years before we see anything from Physint. And seeing Xbox step in after PlayStation walked away from it is one of the more unexpected changes we have seen in a while. It does raise the question about what PlayStation is really planning, given the number of suspicious decisions they have made lately.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For now, the important part is that Physint is not cancelled. It is just no longer a PlayStation project, and Kojima has found a new partner because Xbox is officially on board, and development is continuing. Considering this is Hideo Kojima we are talking about, I am sure the story behind how all of this happened is going to be almost as interesting as the game itself.</p>

But with the wait finally over, thousands of Vikings are rushing back to their old homes or jumping into <a href="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/10-valheim-tips-every-viking-needs-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a fresh playthrough.</a></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Cold is Calling</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After 5 years of being in early access, Valheim 1.0 is finally here. From the beginning, players have had a <a href="https://all.gg/news/will-valheim-get-more-updates-after-1-0/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/will-valheim-get-more-updates-after-1-0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rough idea of where the developers wanted to take the game</a>. Especially since Mistlands, we&#8217;ve known our adventure would eventually lead us south to the Ashlands, and now to the frozen Deep North.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Day one is already showcasing some impressive numbers on Steam alone, with 168,093 players logging in on day one.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Valheim 1.0 is finally here. <a href="https://all.gg/news/will-valheim-get-more-updates-after-1-0/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/will-valheim-get-more-updates-after-1-0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">After 5 years in development</a> and several biomes later, we&#8217;ve <a href="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-is-here-with-the-deep-north-update/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">finally left early access</a>. If you are jumping into the wonderful yet harsh lands of Valheim for the first time, or it&#8217;s been a while since you set sail, here are some tips to help you survive.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Beware the Trees</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Let&#8217;s be honest. Everyone talks about the dangers of woodcutting in Valheim. But with any list, it&#8217;s worth talking about. If you&#8217;ve played before, you know that felling a tree will cause it to slam down and damage anything in its path. This means you, any enemies, or idle trees.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You are going to need a lot of wood. More wood than you ever think you will need. So to make the most of your axe durability, chop trees so they fall against other nearby trees, damaging them and possibly chopping them down for you. But be warned, this game of dominoes doesn&#8217;t always work, and some logs will get stuck. So be careful not to make a death trap.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kill it With Fire</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fire is an interesting damage type in Valheim. Every time someone takes a tick of fire damage, they take some damage over time for around five seconds. But what&#8217;s interesting about fire damage is how it stacks. Taking multiple hits from a fire source, like a torch or a campfire, will not only refresh the DOT, but will stack its damage up.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So if you can bait an enemy to walk over a campfire and stay there for several seconds, their HP bar will quickly melt. Just make sure to repair the fire with a hammer while they stand on it. Alternatively, hitting an enemy with a torch or fire arrows also works, but it&#8217;s harder to restack the DOT that fast.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Never Leave Home Without It</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Never forget your hammer. Not only can you use it to build, but you can destroy any natural structures. In the early game, you&#8217;ll often find abandoned structures made of wood or other materials. If you bring your hammer and enough wood to make a crafting bench, you can either repurpose the structure by repairing it or demolish it for resources with your hammer.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s also good to keep your hammer with you at all times, just in case you need to build something far from home, like a campfire.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Comfort &amp; Resting</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One important part of Valheim is its comfort system. In short, if you rest somewhere near a heat source with furniture that raises your comfort level, you gain the rested buff. The higher your comfort level, the longer the rested bonus will last.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But what if you lose your rested buff out in the wilderness? A few landmarks or methods let you regain a decent rested buff while you are away from home. Structures like Troll or Frost caves have a giant overhang that counts as a roof. If you build a campfire in the entrance, you can get a quick rested buff while out and about.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Alternatively, you can do this by going inside a cave or dungeon, since the entire indoor area has a roof. This is especially good for Crypts in the Swamp.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cart Smarter, Not Harder</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once you&#8217;ve progressed far enough, you will unlock the cart. Allowing you to haul a ton of items and resources across longer distances with ease. But as you fill the cart up, it gets heavier and harder to push. One trick you can do if you have a friend in your world is to have them get on top of the cart and put all the contents in their inventory. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This will reduce the cart&#8217;s weight, and you can pull it instead, which is much faster. Just don&#8217;t go too fast, or they can fly out mid-trip, and you&#8217;ll have to put them back in.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Home Defense</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the scariest moments for every Valheim player is when their base is targeted for a raid. Raids occur when a player is near a fire source and a bunch of player-made structures for an extended amount of time. If you are playing on normal, the server will try to send a raid every 45 minutes, with roughly a 20% chance of it triggering if a player meets the criteria.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So 4 players all afk at base is a 20% chance of a raid happening, but rolled 4 times. To better defend your home, make sure you have walls, either wooden or stone, or raise the ground up with your gardening hoe. Raising the ground will look ugly, but most mobs won&#8217;t be able to get inside.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Alternatively, you can build a moat, but you still need 1 strip of land that&#8217;s walkable; otherwise, the mobs will ignore the moat entirely. All of this is especially important if a Troll raid triggers, which is hands down the scariest raid since they deal so much structure damage.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ready for Raiding</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Speaking of raids, the number of active raids is triggered by your world state. We won&#8217;t give every one away, but to put it simply, if you have yet to defeat a boss, that boss will send its minions to your home. Once you defeat them, those raids will stop, but custom raids will begin. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sometimes raids require certain triggers. For example, Troll raids only turn on after a single troll has died in your world. It doesn&#8217;t matter if you killed them or something else did. Furthermore, if you complete any Mini Boss questline, turning in the chest they are guarding to Hildir will open up those Mini Bosses to return as future raids. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Food Management</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Food is also an important part of Valheim. The type and strength of what food you eat determines how much health or stamina you get. But if you are doing around-the-house work, it&#8217;s good to keep cheap food around, rather than eating your best items all the time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s easy to keep a backstock of pork or deer meat for chore work or to have around the base.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Enemy Weaknesses </h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Almost all enemy types also have a weakness. Certain enemies will be resistant to one damage type but vulnerable to another. A few examples are that Trolls are weak to piercing damage, so something like a spear will work wonders, or skeletons are weak to blunt damage, so bring a mace.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Never Stop Farming</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lastly, our biggest tip is to never stop farming. Rarely does any item stop being useful in Valheim. For example, boar meat might not be worth it for a while once you move onto other biomes and zones, but later recipies might call for it as a ingrediant.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rarely does an item, or ingredient, stop being worth anything. There are only a handful of items we can think of, such as Yellow Mushrooms, which barely have any future relevance, but that doesn&#8217;t mean you should throw them away. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Be prepared to make an entire storage room in your base just to stockpile whatever you need for a rainy day. Especially wood. You will always need wood. </p>

This post has plenty of answers for older saves, world states, and crossplay, but one question stands miles above the rest. Valheim&#8217;s future.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Future of Valheim </h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This question has been on everyone&#8217;s mind for years. For half a decade of development, every early-access update was free. No microtransactions, no DLC, no other purchases. Paired with the lack of confirmation of what was in store after Valheim got to the Deep North biome.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But this <a href="https://valheim.com/support/valheim-1-0-faq/" data-type="link" data-id="https://valheim.com/support/valheim-1-0-faq/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FAQ asked</a>: Will the game continue to get updates after 1.0?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s an answer. But not the one that many fans were looking for. We and many others have said time and time again that thousands of players will very likely purchase DLC, or future paid content, if it means new developments or adventures for Valheim.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Right before 1.0, Iron Gate also posted<a href="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-celebrates-years-of-viking-adventures/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/valheim-1-0-celebrates-years-of-viking-adventures/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> a video showcasing the development and emotional journey</a> this game has had for both its makers and the community. This is evidence enough that lots of folks don&#8217;t want this game to end.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even if Deep North brings a narrative and planned ending to the series, Fans still hope there will be more content to come, or at the very least another adventure in this universe. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So outside of all of the new weapons, items, and enemies found in the Deep North, there are a few special things we do want to highlight. This section will include some light spoilers, so if you want to go in as blind as possible, proceed with caution.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First, you might have noticed there are new Upgradeable pockets. One of the biggest complaints about Valheim is that the inventory limit was always a pain. Up to this point, there was no way to expand it outside of mods. But now Haldor will sell you inventory upgrades!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some of the additional <strong>new creatures added in this update also aren&#8217;t exclusive to the Deep North</strong>. So keep an eye out for them when you&#8217;re wandering through the older biomes. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nintendo Switch 2 is getting even more Final Fantasy 7, as Square Enix confirmed during <a href="https://all.gg/news/nintendo-direct-september-2026-everything-announced/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">today&#8217;s Nintendo Direct</a> that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is coming to the console! And if you do not want to wait until next year for more FF7, there is some good news there too, because Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is also available on Nintendo Switch 2 starting today.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yes, you read that right, you can get it today already, and Crisis Core is really one of the best games to play on a handheld console since it was first released on the PSP.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Is Coming to Switch 2</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the third and final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project, will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as on the other platforms. This means no specific exclusivity and no delay for the Switch release this time either. You can enjoy the last part of the Remake at the same time as everyone else.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game will launch on April 8, 2027, and follows directly the events of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. We have already seen quite a bit of Revelation over the past few months, including the huge open world, the return of the Highwind, new traversal options, and plenty of familiar faces.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For Switch 2, this means that the entire modern Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is making its way onto Nintendo&#8217;s latest console. And that is a pretty big deal.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">24-Hour Early Access</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Square Enix is also offering 24-hour early access for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, but this is not included with the Standard Edition. The early-access period is exclusive to the Premium and Premium Plus Editions. So if you are planning to pre-order the game digitally on Switch 2 specifically because you want to play it a day early, you will need one of those editions.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Other platforms get the same early access, so this is also nothing exclusive to the Switch 2. There is also a slightly confusing bit of information for anyone who already pre-ordered the Standard Edition. Nintendo and Square Enix say that those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition digitally need to cancel that pre-order before payment is processed, and then pre-order either the Premium or Premium Plus Edition to receive the 24-hour Early Access bonus.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Premium editions also include additional in-game bonuses, and Premium Plus comes with extras such as a digital art book and mini soundtrack.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Crisis Core Reunion Is Available Today</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But you do not have to wait until April 2027 to get more Final Fantasy 7 on Switch 2. <strong>Crisis Core Reunion is available on Nintendo Switch 2 later today.</strong> The game is an HD remaster of the original Crisis Core and follows Zack Fair before the events of Final Fantasy 7. It features remastered visuals, fully voiced dialogue, a newly arranged soundtrack, and updated gameplay.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So if you have already played Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth on Switch 2 and you are looking for something else from the FF7 universe before Revelation, Crisis Core is now another option. And as I already mentioned earlier, it is a game that fits very well on handheld consoles, so pretty much perfect for your Switch 2. The gameplay for Crisis Core is quite different compared to the base game as well.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And there is still a long wait for Revelation, but at least Switch 2 players have another FF7 adventure to jump into right now!</p>
