ArcheAge Chronicles Hits Top 5 at Steam Next Fest

ArcheAge Chronicles just revealed some impressive stats from the latest Steam Next Fest, alongside a surprise announcement that the game is launching into Early Access next week.
Steam Next Fest Demo Highlights

ArcheAge Chronicles was a huge success during Steam Next Fest, attracting more than 20,000 players and breaking into the event’s top five most-played demos. With that many players jumping in during a limited-time demo, it’s clear there’s plenty of interest in what the game has to offer.
The developers have now shared some additional stats from the event, showing just how much players got up to during the week:
- Total Playtime: 428,000 hours
- Total PvP Kills: 111,500
- PvP Kill Leader: BorderPatrol with 1,403 kills
- Most Visited Point of Interest: Wayfaring Camp
- Most Defeated Boss: Aventus
That’s a lot of time spent exploring Auroria, fighting other players, and taking down bosses before the game even reaches Early Access!

In addition to these stats, the developers also released a video outlining their plans for the game’s Early Access launch. The video covers several key details, including:
- Early Access pricing
- Content available at launch
- How the community will help shape the game’s future
All in all, ArcheAge Chronicles seems to be off to a promising start ahead of its official release. However, the developers are taking a bold gamble with their Early Access date, launching just one day before WoW Forever.
With more than 20,000 players already checking out the demo, it’ll be interesting to see how much of that excitement carries over into Early Access, especially with another major release right around the corner.
