Marvel Rivals Season 10 Brings Gorr and Loki Back
Season 10 of Marvel Rivals is now officially live, and there’s a lot arriving this season. Aside from the usual brand-new battle pass, we got some events that actually revolve around Loki’s resurrection, after he was slain by Gorr. We’ve also got some brand-new costumes, some new Team-Up abilities, and more.
Butcher’s Blasphemy
Season 10 of Marvel Rivals is now on live servers. With this new season, we have a brand new Duelist, Gorr, the God Butcher, who made a very dramatic entrance by actually causing the first playable character death in the series. But that apparently didn’t last long.
For a short time, Yggsgard was void of life and color, as the God of Lies was struck down by Gorr. Now, in a twist of fate, which also connects to this season’s battle pass, God Bomb. Loki is reborn as The Chronicler.
While this is an interesting turn of events, in actuality Loki’s death really only lasted about one or two days before the sudden resurrection. On the one hand, it would have been interesting to actually keep Loki dead for a bit longer and revive him at the start of the second half of the season, since Season 10 is only getting one hero this time around, aka Gorr.
Speaking of whom, it is also introducing two brand new Team-Ups: one with Hela and another for Venom.
The Return of Season 4’s Battle Pass
It seems NetEase is keeping the Battle Pass return trend going. From now until September 24th, you will have a chance to go back in time and progress or finish up Season 4’s Battle Pass
More & More Skins
And like every season, we have a mountain of new skins and costumes that are arriving with this season. We have the God Bomb Battle Pass, which brings the usual round of cosmetics that fit the season’s theme. The big highlights from this pass are easily the cosmic Captain America, White Fox, Groot, Dr. Strange, Loki, Squirrel Girl, & Psylocke,
Outside of that, we are getting, of course, another legendary Emma Frost & Cloak and Dagger skins; both also have Ultimate VFX you can purchase in the shop as well.
