Alongside the massive Sega Steam publisher sale going on, there’s also a massive Total War: Warhammer franchise Steam sale going on as well. Now is the perfect time to get into the Total War: Warhammer series, especially since the Lords of the End Times DLCs are coming out soon.

The Total War: Warhammer games have been around for a very long time. Spanning three titles, over a hundred DLCs, and dozens of factions, it’s a project in the making for 10 years. Now we may be seeing the sun set on the Warhammer Fantasy setting as Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000 is drawing ever closer. Especially since we are getting characters and events from the End Times.

With 10 years of development, thousands of hours of content, and nearly endless replayability, now is a wonderful time to get into the franchise while it’s on sale.

But a quick disclaimer for those who haven’t played any of the Total War: Warhammer games. The first, second, and third games, plus all of their respective DLCs, carry over to the third game. For example, if you purchase a DLC in the first game, those units will be available in the second and third installments. But if you don’t own those DLCs, you can still fight against them in Immortal Empires.
