The Blood of Dawnwalker Reveals Final PC System Requirements

The Blood of Dawnwalker is getting closer to its September 3 release, and Rebel Wolves has now published the game’s final PC system requirements. We already had a preview of those a couple of months ago, but the final requirements were not known yet. Now we can get a good look at the real requirements, and you can make sure your rig is ready for September!

And thankfully, they are not quite as terrifying as the earlier requirements made them look.

The final specifications cover everything from 1080p at 30 FPS on Low settings all the way up to 4K at 60 FPS on Ultra. The big difference is that these targets assume players have DLSS, FSR, or XeSS enabled, using the recommended upscaling settings.

The Blood of Dawnwalker PC Requirements

Much Less Demanding Than the Previous Requirements

What is particularly interesting here is how much the requirements have changed compared to the specifications Rebel Wolves previously published. Earlier requirements for native resolution were considerably more demanding, with the RTX 5090 listed for 4K/60 FPS on Ultra. Those figures did not take advantage of upscaling technologies, however. The final requirements are instead built around using DLSS, FSR or XeSS, and that explains why the hardware requirements are significantly lower.

So no, you do not suddenly need an RTX 5090 just to play The Blood of Dawnwalker at 4K. An RTX 4070 Ti or RX 9070 is the official target for 4K/60 Ultra under the final configuration.

That is still demanding, especially when you consider that we are talking about upscaling rather than native 4K, but it is a much more reasonable target than what we saw earlier.

The Game Is Almost Here

The Blood of Dawnwalker is now only a couple of weeks away, with the game scheduled to launch on September 3, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game is Rebel Wolves’ first title, with the studio founded by former CD Projekt Red developers who worked on games including The Witcher 3. It follows Coen, a young man who becomes a half-vampire as he tries to save his family, and you only have 30 days to save them.
