Valor Mortis Gets a New Story Trailer

Recently, the highly anticipated first-person action soulslike Valor Mortis received a brand-new story trailer, giving fans another look at what One More Level has been cooking up ahead of its October release. The latest trailer dives deeper into the game’s narrative, offering a better look at the characters, mysteries, and horrors waiting for fans.

The new Valor Mortis trailer puts the spotlight on our protagonist William as he faces the countless trials, horrors, and enemies standing in his way. However, it’s not all about the dangers he’ll encounter. We also get a brief glimpse at some of the survivors William will meet along the way, who could have a major impact on how his story unfolds.

Of course, the trailer also leaves us with plenty of questions. Why can’t William remember his past? What exactly was that mysterious beast lurking in the desert? And perhaps most importantly, who can William actually trust?

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out, as Valor Mortis launches on October 13.

But if you’re itching to get your hands on the game before then, you still have a little time to check out the demo. The Steam demo will be taken offline on September 8, giving players only a few more days to try it out.

According to the developers, they’re removing the demo because the game has received so many quality-of-life improvements and other upgrades that the current demo no longer reflects the overall quality of the finished experience. So, if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to give Valor Mortis a shot, now is the time to jump in before the demo disappears.
