The Blood of Dawnwalker Sells 1 Million Copies in Its First Few Days

Is The Blood of Dawnwalker the true successor of The Witcher 3? It could be, especially given it is already off to a pretty great start.

Rebel Wolves shared a very small message about the game selling more than 1 million copies, just a few days after launching on September 3. They posted the news on the official Dawnwalker account, thanking everyone for “playing, sharing, supporting, and being part of the community.”

Congrats Rebel Wolves! That is a pretty impressive milestone, and definitely well deserved! We are absolutely having the best time ever with the game. The Blood of Dawnwalker is not only a new IP, but also the first game from Rebel Wolves. The studio was founded by former CD Projekt developers, and making a million sales this quickly is a very strong start for them. You can definitely see the talent coming from CDPR, and the inspirations that came with it, but at the same time they managed to make something really unique that can just not be compared to another game.

If you were hesitating in buying it, we can only recommend you try it out. Sure, people might find things to complain about. But overall, the game is unique and tries new things. This makes it a wonderful piece of art in a time when too many studios just always do the same.

The game also launched into a pretty full September, so getting one million copies into players’ hands this quickly is even more impressive!

For Rebel Wolves, it looks like Dawnwalker has managed to find its audience. And considering this is supposed to be the first chapter of a larger saga, that is probably very good news for whatever comes next. We will definitely be there for it!
