Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40K Warbond Is Out Now

The big day is finally here. After the initial crossover announcement at this year’s Skulls, and then another teaser, the Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000 warbond is out now alongside the Devoid of Liberty update.

The Planet Broke Before the Guard Did

After months of speculation, the Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000 warbond is finally here. Giving Helldivers two new armor sets that come with a new passive. Three new weapons: a primary, a sidearm, a throwable, and a support weapon. Along with some new patterns for 4 vehicles and the Helldiver Pod.

For the weapons, we got:

• R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle
• P/40-K Bolt Pistol
• G/40-K Meltamine
• 40-K Meltagun Stratagem

Weapons from Warhammer are notoriously powerful, and thankfully they live up to that hype. However, the two biggest weapons from this Warbond are easily the Bolt Pistol and the Meltagun. The reason is that both of these weapons make very quick work of any high-armor targets, especially the Meltagun, which, if you know what these weapons can do in the 20k universe, should be this strong.

For the armor sets, we got the:

• TG-122 Demo-Trooper
• TG-8 Sharpshooter

Both armor sets are fitted with the True Grit passive ability for boosts to all weapon handling and to support weapon reload speeds

As for cosmetics, we got:

• Capes and Player Banners: Camo Cloak and City Fighter’s Resolve
• Vehicle Pattern: Castellan’s Green pattern for the Shuttle, Hellpod, FRV, and Exosuit
• Player Title: Still Standing

Like the other Legendary Warbonds, such as Halo: ODST or Killzone, the Warhammer 40,000 warbond will cost you 1500 Super Credits
