Marvel’s Wolverine Gets a Stunning PS5 Limited Edition

Marvel’s Wolverine is releasing on September 15, 2026, and Sony has one more surprise for you when it comes to this game! Sony and Insomniac have revealed a new collection of Marvel’s Wolverine limited-edition PS5 hardware and accessories, and Wolverine fans are getting quite a few different options to choose from. Inspired by Wolverine’s raw power and Insomniac Games’ Battle Reborn suit and claws, the collection includes a new PS5 Digital Edition bundle, multiple console covers, and two different DualSense designs.

The Wolverine Battle Yellow PS5

The main edition is the “PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle”, that comes with the console, a matching DualSense controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. The console uses a bold yellow finish inspired by Wolverine, with claw marks running across the design. Sony says the design is intended to give players a look underneath the PS5’s exterior, with the claw-slashed details giving it a much more aggressive appearance than the standard console.

The matching Battle Yellow DualSense follows the same design, with claw marks inspired by Wolverine’s famous adamantium claws. The Battle Yellow DualSense will also be sold separately.

PS5 and PS5 Pro Console Covers

Obviously, if you already own a PS5, you do not necessarily need another console. Do not worry, you can still customize yours with the new Wolverine design! Sony is also releasing Marvel’s Wolverine console covers separately for those who would just want to swap the covers on their own console. The Battle Yellow covers will be available for both PS5 and PS5 Pro.

There is also a second design specifically for the PS5 Pro.

The Adamantium PS5 Pro Design

The Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition PS5 Pro Console Covers are inspired by the adamantium bonded to Logan’s skeleton and claws. So if you are not a fan of the full yellow look, this version uses a metallic design and still keeps the claw-slashed details from the Battle Yellow version. Sony is also releasing a matching Adamantium Limited Edition DualSense controller with the same metallic finish.

So there are essentially two different Wolverine versions available:

• The colorful Battle Yellow design inspired by the character’s suit
• The darker metallic Adamantium design inspired by Wolverine’s skeleton and claws

Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Limited Edition Prices

The new hardware and accessories will be available in limited quantities, with pre-orders opening on August 19 at 10 AM local time, and Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories will be available beginning September 15 in limited quantities.
