Enshrouded 1.0 Dev Blog Reveals Major Changes
By EncampedWeevil | 4 Days AgoThe developers of Enshrouded just dropped their first Dev blog showcasing some of the fixes and major changes coming to 1.0. This is a multipart series, so this coverage covers only part one and what we know so far.
Enshrouded 1.0 Improvements
This first video entry in the series highlights a handful of changes that are coming to 1.0. But before we start, we will mention that one of these major changes does happen to a critical event in the late game, so if you haven’t progressed that far, or haven’t gotten the chance to play, be warned for spoilers.
Moving forward, the first major change is actually going to be for the Fell Dragon Youngling boss. Most changes affect how quickly stun builds on the dragon. Increasing its stun window and introducing a grounded phase for melee players.
Another major change is that enemies will no longer instantly regenerate their health upon exiting combat. So if you are in the middle of a boss fight and you die, if you return quickly enough, the boss won’t fully heal, giving you a chance to pick up around where you left off.
The devs are also letting players choose between the new and old Updraft changes in the settings menu. Plus, they are giving players an option to make their Flameborne have more realistic or keep their old-school appearances. This is because many fans have been saying for a while that the current player character proportions look more like hobbits than humans.
The last of the major changes include:
- Reworks to Fishing, its mini-game, and the biomes.
- NPCs getting stuck.
- More fixes will be coming later.
