Dead by Daylight September 2026 Roadmap Revealed

Dead by Daylight has finally revealed its September 2026 roadmap, giving players a look at what’s coming over the next few weeks. While the roadmap arrives a little later than usual, it’s full of new events, cosmetic collections, and the surprisingly quick return of the fan-favorite 2v8 mode.

DbD September Roadmap

This month is going to be full of events, brand new collections, and a surprisingly quick return of the fan favorite 2v8 mode! That’s right: despite 2v8 briefly appearing for a week a while back, fans are getting another round! This time, 2v8 will stick around from tomorrow, September 8th, to the 29th. Plus, the Xenomorph is joining the playable killer roster for the game mode alongside a brand-new Alien Collection.

Starting September 22nd, a Charitable Partnership program will begin, similar to the Enter The Rainbow initiatives earlier this year. We can expect donations to a charity, which will likely result in some codes going out to the community as stretch goals. Akin to the La Fogata event that occurred near Jason’s release, we will be getting a selection of in-game quests that are likely to provide players with banners, icons, and potentially bloodpoints or iridescent shards depending on what Behavior decides to do with this event.

More Collections

Starting on September 15th, a new PTB will go live, allowing players to demo any new balance changes Behavior decides to roll out prior to the next major patch. We should expect further updates and patch logs from Behavior before the PTB rolls out regarding these changes. Many suggest this could include the Blight or Skull Merchant rework/rebalancing the Devs teased before Jason’s release during the Anniversary event. At the same time as the PTB going live, the Gameplay Expo collection, which currently has 7 very rare skins within it, will be expanding with what appears to be a skin for The Unknown and potentially more. This skin collection is primarily themed around Arcade-oriented Gameplay Expos and some cheesy 80s gamer nostalgia. The current collection features skins for Nea, Yui, Feng, Jane, The Trickster, The Legion, and The Singularity.

Starting September 22nd, Behavior is expanding the Autumn Fashion collection, a self-explanatory cosmetic set. This set includes 1 Rare outfit for Legion and 6 Very Rare outfits for Lee, Orela, Feng, Mikaela, Kate, and the standout skin of the bunch, The Dredge. While the other skins in this set are very comfy and relaxed, The Dredge skin brings some mystery to what they could possibly expand upon with the next installment of this collection.

Community Outreach

At the end of this event, starting on September 25th and lasting 2 days, Dead by Daylight will host The Campfire Tour again, this time at Dead Northern. Behavior previously showcased The Campfire Tour at Gamescom 2026, and it’s typically a booth set up for mingling with players and cosplayers. The Campfire Tour is primarily a linear area filled with props and visual effects produced by the Immersive team in Montreal, along with cosplayers manning stations.
