AION 2 Adds Free 30-Day Membership to Founder’s Packs

It did not take long for AION 2 to make a change to its Founder’s Packs after player feedback came in about something important missing. A few weeks ago, we already wrote an article about the different Founder’s Packs and what you can get from them, but many players were not very happy with the content of the packs.

We got a small recap for you, so here is what you could originally get from each pack:

• Standard edition for $24.99:
  • 5-day Early Access
  • Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest with early progression items
  • Exclusive “Vanguard of Atreia” title
• Deluxe Founder’s Pack for $49.99:
  • All Standard rewards
  • Ascended Daeva armor appearance
  • Eternal Sun weapon skin featuring unique visual effects
• Ultimate Founder’s Pack
  • All Standard and Deluxe rewards
  • Moonlit Aria armor appearance
  • Black Dragon companion pet

Something Was Missing

Knowing that AION 2 is an MMO, a lot of players felt like something was not right with these Founder’s Packs.

After reviewing all the feedback, the developers have announced that 30 days of AION 2 membership will be included in every pack. The change applies both to players who have already purchased a Founder’s Pack and those who decide to purchase one in the future. As mentioned, this addition comes after the lack of subscription access became one of the biggest complaints surrounding the Founder’s Packs. The different tiers all provide a five-day head start, but none of them originally included access to the game’s separate membership subscription.

This was particularly annoying for players because many other MMOs include a period of subscription access with their Founder or Early Access packages. So it felt just normal to have one here too. At least now, all Founders get 30 days of membership for free, meaning existing owners will also receive the additional benefit without having to purchase anything else. It is a relatively small change, but it does show that the AION 2 team is already paying attention to player feedback ahead of launch.

With the five-day head start beginning on September 30, you can now also enjoy your free 30 days of membership automatically, and anyone purchasing a pack later will receive the same benefit.
