The Blood of Dawnwalker Reveals All 46 Achievements Available at Launch

By Jaymo | Today at 4:00pm

If you are like us, and the only thing you are waiting for is the launch of The Blood of Dawnwalker, you will be happy to know that all the achievements will be available at launch on Steam. This is pretty good news for everyone who likes hunting down every achievement in a game, and The Blood of Dawnwalker has already got plenty waiting for you. The developers have revealed that the upcoming RPG will launch with 46 Steam achievements on day one, so we will have a ton of challenges to complete as we explore Vale Sangora.

The full list includes 25 visible achievements and 21 hidden achievements, with the latter keeping their requirements secret until players unlock them. This is to avoid important spoilers, obviously.

Achievements Cover Almost Every Part of the Game

The achievement list is not simply focused on completing the main story. Instead, Rebel Wolves say they were designed around the different ways players can experience the game’s narrative sandbox. This means that some of the achievements will cover things such as:

  • Combat mastery
  • Vampiric progression
  • Witchcraft
  • Exploration and discovery
  • Story progression
  • Character development
  • Inventory management

Some of the visible achievements give a pretty good idea of the variety you can expect.

  • General
    • The Blood of Dawnwalker – Finish the story.
    • Throne of Thorns – Reach peak Infamy in Vale Sangora.
  • Combat
    • Better Safe than Sorry – Behead an enemy with Artery Strike while they’re also hexed with Burning Blood.
    • Make It Rain – Cause an enemy to explode using an Active Ability.
    • Absolutely Insatiable – Have 3 Passive Abilities equipped at the same time.
    • Untouchable – Perform 5 Perfect Blocks in a row.

    • Bird’s-Eye View – Climb all the towers and scout the surrounding areas.
    • Big-City Living – Visit the City of Svartrau.
    • Tour Guide Training – Visit all of Vale Sangora’s villages.
    • Delivery Delay – Destroy 8 vrakhiri transports.
  • Character Development
    • Glass Ceiling – Reach Level 50.
    • Mastery – Level up one Swordmastery, Witchcraft, or Vampiric Ability to its full potential.
    • Master of Arms – Unlock an Ultimate Perk in the Swordmastery tree.
    • Arch Warlock – Unlock an Ultimate Perk in the Witchcraft tree.
    • Creature of the Night – Unlock an Ultimate Perk in the Vampirism tree.
  • Abilities
    • Dead Man Talkin’ – Speak with a dead person using the Compel Soul Witchcraft Ability.
    • Shadow Roamer – Travel 1000 metres using Vampiric Abilities.
    • Balanced Diet – Quench your thirst by drinking 10 animals, humans, or monsters.
  • Inventory
    • Smuggler – Earn 1000 denarii selling silver.
    • Miser – Accumulate 5000 denarii. What are you planning to buy, mate?

You Will Need More Than One Playthrough

The developers also point out that one playthrough will not be enough to unlock every achievement. So if you are the type of player that wants to complete all the achievements in one go, you will sadly be disappointed by this one. It is not particularly surprising considering The Blood of Dawnwalker is built around choices and consequences, meaning you can experience different outcomes depending on the decisions you make throughout your journey. SO some achievements probably involve making different choices, hence why you need more than one playthrough.

The 21 hidden achievements will also remain secret until they are earned, so you will have some additional surprises waiting for you.

So, how many are you planning to unlock?
