The Blood of Dawnwalker Reveals Global Launch Times

The Blood of Dawnwalker is only a couple of days away, and Rebel Wolves has now revealed exactly when you will be able to start the game! Officially, it launches on September 3, but the exact timing depends on your platform and your region.

On PC, The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch simultaneously worldwide at midnight CEST (UTC+2), so this basically means that once it hits midnight for most of Europe, the game will go live for everyone on PC.

Console players get a slightly different rollout. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game will unlock at midnight local time in each region. There are a few exceptions for countries with multiple time zones, such as Australia and Indonesia, and those will use the capital city’s midnight. North and South America will also use midnight EDT, meaning players across America will not all get access at their own local midnight.

For European players, it is pretty simple: The Blood of Dawnwalker unlocks at midnight on September 3.

Preload Starts 48 Hours Before Launch

If you have already pre-ordered the game, you will not have to wait until launch night to start downloading it. Rebel Wolves has confirmed that the preload will become available 48 hours before release on Steam and consoles. That means you can have the game ready to go before the servers unlock, and you do not have to spend launch night staring at a download bar.

And considering the PC version requires around 60 GB of free storage, I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the preload if you have already decided to play at launch.

There is also no early access period, so all editions will unlock according to the same global schedule.

Do Not Stream the Game Before the PC Launch

There is one other thing you should keep in mind. Rebel Wolves has asked players not to stream The Blood of Dawnwalker before its global PC release at midnight CEST, since it is a narrative-focused experience. This is mostly to avoid any big story spoilers before the game becomes available for everyone. Of course, nothing will keep you from streaming it, but please be considerate of other players and wait a little bit before you stream and share all the information about the game.
