Mariachi Legends Delayed Until 2027

Fear of GTA’s imminent release is pushing yet another game back to 2027. During the first few days of Gamescom, Halberd Studios recently made the tough call to delay their upcoming, highly anticipated Metroidvania, Mariachi Legends, to next year.

Another Day, Another Delay

The shadow of GTA 6 continues to scare off a lot of publishers and game companies from releasing their games this fall. Sadly, another is taking this approach. Recently, Halberd Studios said they are pushing Mariachi Legends back to April 27, 2027.

They ensure they want the game to be as polished and refined as possible, but GTA is also likely another major reason for the delay. But surely it’s not all for nothing.

Along with this announcement, we got a brand new gameplay trailer during this year’s Gamescom, so fans got a little extra something to tide them over.
