Creators Revealed Some Wild New Details About GTA 6

Since that extended look went live on Netflix and YouTube, we are getting just more and more GTA 6 content and details. It seems we are not done yet! On top of all the outlets that had early access, content creators have also started to share their first look at the game. Spanish streamer Rubius is one of them, and he shared more details about GTA 6, including some pretty wild stuff.

It is worth pointing out that these details come from the creator, and not directly from Rockstar, so it is based on his own opinion and what he was able to test when he went to Rockstar HQ. That said, the information is really interesting and proves just how detailed GTA 6 will be.

NPCs, Smoking and Even More Detail

Apparently, you will be able to interact with practically any NPC in the world, and Rubius claims that GTA 6 has significantly more dialogue than Red Dead Redemption 2. There are no quick greetings, and NPC interactions are designed to feel more like real conversations.

The game also seems to be taking its physical animations to another level. Jumping into water can involve multiple different animations, including manually controlled backflips while you are in the air, similar to Skate 3 or Spider-Man. So to those who complained about the “weird” backflip in the extended look, now you know what happened. It is because you control the backflip yourself. And yes, apparently you can buy cigarettes and even smoke them. The animation lasts much longer than the brief smoking animations seen in RDR2, and smoking can also fill the game’s Focus meter.

Cars Are More Useful Than Ever

Vehicles are being treated more like the horses in RDR2 since you will be able to store heavy weapons and change outfits inside them. You can also request your personal vehicle through an app and have it delivered to your location, similar to how vehicles work in GTA Online.

Fancy cars will come with GPS trackers as well. If you steal one, you will need to take it to a specific mechanic to remove the tracker. The new Focus ability can help when stealing cars too, revealing nearby police as well as information such as the vehicle’s value.

Pawn shops will also be scattered around the map, so you will have a few places to sell stolen goods.

It Is Definitely Not Made for Kids

One of the more brutal details concerns dismemberment. Yes, you read that right. According to Rubius, GTA 6 will feature full limb dismemberment… Basically not limiting particularly gruesome damage to headshots. You can apparently even put bodies in vehicle trunks, and that is certainly one way Rockstar is taking the game’s criminal sandbox to another level.

Weapons will also behave more naturally. Instead of floating and spinning in place like older GTA pickups, dropped weapons will physically remain on the ground.

There Is a Tiktok-Style Social Network

GTA 6 will have its own social media platform inspired by TikTok, and it will not just exist as some background app you can open here and there. You can track down streamers and influencers in the open world when they are broadcasting live, potentially turning social media into another way of discovering things happening around Leonida. Or another way to know exactly where you can steal some fancy material or car…

There are plenty of other small details too, including hidden treasures and collectibles on the map’s smaller islands, but the overall conclusion we can make from this is that Rockstar is going very far with GTA 6’s world.
