Burger Tycoon
Game description
Burger Tycoon is a free resource management game. In the strategy/management game, Burger Tycoon, build your own fast-food burger empire from the ground up and then give the hungry people just what they want, nice and juicy hamburgers. With as many fast food places there are in the world, you’d think that creating your own would be as easy as, well, a hamburger—boy would you be mistaken. To succeed, you have to successfully manage every step of the process, from the cow to the counter, as well as the company itself. Lose too much money and go too far into the red, and you’ll go bankrupt, and it’s game over. Succeed, and you’ll become nothing short of a Burger Tycoon.
Instructions
There’s a lot to keep track of in this mouse-driven game, all of which is spread across four separate screens—the pasture, the feedlot, the fast food restaurant, and corporate headquarters. Buy cows, hire employees, plant farms, and then fire anyone who isn’t doing their job well enough. You may also need to get rid of any cows that aren’t quite up-to-par, ones that are sick one way or another. There’s also plenty to do at the corporate headquarters. But all of it is required if you’re ever going to become the biggest burger tycoon on the planet.

over a month agoWhen I was playing this in high school, I always went bankrupt within ~10 years lol. I'm glad that adulting irl helped me learn how to budget. I made it to September 2030 with ~$213k before I called it quits.
