<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <a href="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-closed-beta-starts-september-3/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/wardogs-closed-beta-starts-september-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WARDOGS Playtest</a> is officially underway, and players have wasted no time flooding the servers. After the developers challenged the community to put the game’s servers through their paces during this latest beta, it looks like players are already taking that challenge seriously. Within just a few hours, WARDOGS has seen a massive surge in players, smashing its previous concurrent player record.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>WARDOGS Playtest Opening Day</strong></h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It has only been a few hours since WARDOGS officially opened its closed playtest today, but the numbers are already impressive. According to <a href="https://steamdb.info/app/4809930/charts/#max" data-type="link" data-id="https://steamdb.info/app/4809930/charts/#max" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SteamDB</a>, the game has reached <strong>162,488 concurrent players</strong> at the time of writing. That completely eclipses the previous record of <strong>105,774 players</strong>, set just a few weeks ago.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s an enormous jump, especially considering that the playtest hasn&#8217;t even reached the weekend yet. With more players likely to jump in over the next few days, WARDOGS could push its player count even higher before the playtest comes to an end.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Of course, there&#8217;s another reason these numbers are particularly interesting. The developers previously encouraged players to <strong>break the servers</strong>, making the massive influx of players part of the test itself. While the community may be well on its way to accomplishing that goal, there are already signs that the servers are struggling under the pressure.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Although most players have been able to jump into the playtest, there have been numerous reports of players being unable to launch the game or connect to the servers, with some regions seemingly experiencing more issues than others.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hopefully, these problems are only temporary, and the developers can iron out the server issues before WARDOGS moves closer to its eventual launch. For now, though, the playtest is off to an explosive start, and the player count will be worth keeping an eye on over the next few days.</p>


WARDOGS has exploded onto Steam during its latest closed playtest, already smashing its previous concurrent player record with 162,488 players.

The brand-new Choice &amp; Consequence trailer gives us a closer look at the game’s characters and finally reveals when players can get their hands on the sequel.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After months of waiting, we now have a confirmed release date, and thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Until Dawn 2</strong> Preorders</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you loved the original Until Dawn or have been waiting to see what the sequel has in store, you won’t have to wait long to secure your copy. Until Dawn 2 is officially launching on <strong>January 28, 2027</strong>, giving players a little more time to prepare for another terrifying night.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, you can get your preorder in much sooner. Preorders for Until Dawn 2 will officially open on September 10.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new Choice &amp; Consequence trailer also provides another glimpse at the story and the difficult decisions players will face. While the trailer doesn’t reveal everything, the tense character interactions suggest that the sequel is once again putting its cast through plenty of dangerous and potentially deadly situations.</p>

The event will start with an opening ceremony, and it will feature various big panels, esports competitions, big announcements for almost every Blizzard game, and more. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">For Overwatch, the weekend will be particularly interesting thanks to the return of the Overwatch World Cup. The tournament&#8217;s final stage will take place at BlizzCon, with the remaining teams battling for the World Cup title. The top teams from this year&#8217;s competition will clash in one final battle! So who will win the World Cup this year?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The World Cup will also come with its own viewership rewards, including Overwatch World Cup-themed Jetpack Cat and Domina skins, alongside additional cosmetics such as loot boxes, banners, stickers, and more. There are two different sets of rewards for both days as well.</p>

Overwatch Is Getting Special BlizzCon Drops During the World Cup


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Cars have always been a big part of what made GTA 6 fun. Who did not accidentally (or not) run over a random NPC walking on the side of the road, or steal their dream car in GTA 5? If GTA 6 did not have important car mechanics, it would probably not be called GTA. But GTA 6 is taking its vehicle systems much further than previous games, with Rockstar turning cars into an important part of how players manage weapons, gear, stolen vehicles, and even bodies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the biggest changes is the new weapon wheel and loadout system. You are not going to carry an enormous arsenal everywhere. You will be limited to two sidearms and two long guns. Any additional weapons have to be stored in the trunk of a vehicle, so this already gives cars a much bigger role.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And the trunk is not just for weapons either. You can reportedly store bags and other equipment inside your vehicles, and the trunk can even be used to hide bodies. This means choosing where you leave your car can become an important consideration during missions or when you are trying to escape the police.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Stealing Cars Is More Involved</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vehicle theft is also getting a more elaborate system. You can break into unattended vehicles, use lockpicking minigames, or hotwire cars by connecting ignition wires. Rockstar&#8217;s Rob Nelson explained that stealing a parked vehicle could sometimes be preferable to pulling a driver out of their car, since the latter is more likely to attract police attention.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once you have a stolen vehicle, however, you still need to figure out what to do with it. Car fences can be used to sell vehicles, but some can also help remove trackers. An in-game phone app can also scan vehicles to reveal if they have a tracker, their security level, and their potential value.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There can even be lists of specific vehicles to find and steal.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cars Are More Detailed Than Ever</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vehicle customization is also getting a huge upgrade. Different mod shops can offer different customization options, and you can modify things such as engines, brake calipers, and suspension.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Driving itself is being changed as well. Traffic is denser, roads are narrower, and vehicles have more weight behind them even if they are still reaching higher top speeds than in GTA 5. Rockstar has also described the handling as having some similartities to GTA 4, but they improved responsiveness and drifting. Fuel is another new consideration. You can refuel vehicles at gas stations, electric vehicles also require charging, and gas stations can apparently be used to repair cars as well. So yes, if you steal a car during a police chase, but it turns out it has little to no gas left&#8230; You will be in trouble.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The world is designed around these systems, too. Different terrain and road conditions can make certain vehicles more useful than others, and helicopters and other vehicles are not necessarily guaranteed to be available whenever you want them. No summoning a helicopter in the city if you are currently in a very small street. It is not going to land there.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Your Vehicle Can Even Come To You</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You may not be able to call for helicopters everything, but you do not always have to go looking for your personal vehicle. A dedicated phone app can request a vehicle delivery, with an NPC driving the car to your location before leaving on a scooter. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are also multiple fast-travel options, including trains, buses, and the Ryde Me app.</p>

Not only do we get The Blood of Dawnwalker on September 3rd, but we also get Onimusha: Way of the Sword on September 4th, so if you thought you would get bored this month, it is the exact opposite. Too much to play, and not enough time to play it all! But we highly recommend you give Onimusha a try, especially if you enjoy the series! The wait is almost over since Capcom has now revealed exactly when players around the world will be able to begin Miyamoto Musashi&#8217;s latest adventure.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As always, a global release map showing the launch times across different regions was shared. Console players will generally be able to start playing at midnight local time, but the PC version follows a different global release schedule.</p>

The game has a pretty good start ahead of its official release, with Rebel Wolves announcing that the upcoming action RPG has reached the top 2 on Steam&#8217;s Global Top Sellers chart!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We did check if it changed already, but so far the game is still holding its second spot in the charts. It may reach the top 1 during the next few days! The Blood of Dawnwalker is also currently sitting in the top 10 on the US PlayStation Store, so Rebel Wolves really has a promising start, even if the game is not even out yet! This might not be a coincidence either. It comes shortly after the first reviews for The Blood of Dawnwalker went live, and given that the game currently sits around 85 on both Metacritic and OpenCritic, with critics largely praising its open world, combat, characters, and freedom of choice, this may have pushed additional players to preorder the game last minute!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With Dawnwalker now sitting at the top of Steam&#8217;s global sales chart before we can even officially get our hands on it, the start of Rebel Wolves&#8217; first game is certainly looking promising.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Shift At Midnight is back with one of its biggest updates yet. Building on the previous update, which added <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3722330/view/672877388439226837?l=english" data-type="link" data-id="https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3722330/view/672877388439226837?l=english" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">15 new Customers</a> to Story and Endless Modes, this latest update introduces a whopping <strong>30 more Customers</strong>, new tools, a new weapon, and plenty more for players to discover.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Threats at the Night Shift</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The latest Shift At Midnight update adds 30 new Customers that can appear in both <a href="https://all.gg/news/shift-at-midnight-brings-a-fresh-twist-to-horror-co-op/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/shift-at-midnight-brings-a-fresh-twist-to-horror-co-op/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Story Mode and Endless Mode</a>, just when you thought you were starting to memorize all those familiar faces. Alongside the new Customers, players can now purchase the Chainsaw as a brand-new melee weapon.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Endless Mode is also getting some useful new additions, including <strong>Security Cameras</strong>. These cameras are on the computer at the front desk, allowing you to keep an eye on anything lurking around the forest.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Players can also purchase their pet directly from the store in Endless Mode. On top of that, two Bear Traps and two Planks have been added to Endless Mode&#8217;s storage, giving players some additional tools to help them survive the night.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The End of Day Report has also received some improvements, now displaying information about your quota, personal funds, emails, and pet.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finally, the developer has teased that the next update will bring even more spooky content to Endless Mode. This includes brand-new events, so it looks like there are plenty more surprises waiting for players during future night shifts.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, Behaviour Interactive has been announcing some upcoming changes to the Anti-Chat system for Dead by Daylight. Last week they announced that they are going to start <a href="https://all.gg/news/dead-by-daylight-mmr-rework-arrives-august-25/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/dead-by-daylight-mmr-rework-arrives-august-25/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pushing out some experiements for combating cheaters</a>, and now the Anti-Cheat Trails are now live.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Anti-Cheat Trails</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So what are the Anti-Cheat Trails? Starting today Behaviour are kicking off the Anti-Cheat Trials initiative as a way of investiaging how different anti-cheat providers improve the player experience for Dead by Daylight. This means that over the coming months the devs are going to roll out limited-time trials of these providers’ tools, directly in-game on PC.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Today the trails are starting with Denuvo Anti-Cheat.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In addition here are a bunch of things you can expect:</p>

<li>Anti-Cheat Trials are exclusive to Steam and cross-play will not be impacted.</li>

<li>The first time you launch the game during the Anti-Cheat Trial, you will be prompted to install Denuvo Anti-Cheat. This is required to play the game.</li>



<li>Please continue to use the in-game report function as normal to report any cheaters you encounter. Detailed comments about what you see (i.e. wallhacks, speedhacks, teleporting) are greatly appreciated; the more context, the better.</li>



<li>Note: Selecting the “Hacking/Exploiting” category when submitting a report covers everything from cheaters to hackers.</li>



<li>At the end of this Anti-Cheat Trial, Denuvo Anti-Cheat will be automatically deactivated in Dead by Daylight and will no longer run on your system. </li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Honestly, the biggest surprise out of these changes is yet another nerf to Vigil. On one hand, Vigil was a very strong perk before the Chorus of Sin nerfs, but with a second nerf, is it even worth running anymore?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, RuneScape: Dragonwilds announced that it was reconsidering its previous decision to increase the game&#8217;s price with the 1.0 launch. Now, Jagex has officially confirmed that the price will remain exactly where it is, meaning Dragonwilds will continue to cost £24.99 or $29.99 even after its full release.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">More Players, Lower Costs</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jagex just announced that it will no longer increase the price of RuneScape: Dragonwilds when the survival RPG launches its 1.0 update. The developers said they are truly humbled by the support the game has received so far and have decided to keep the current price of £24.99/$29.99.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Honestly, this is a great move for players who have been waiting to <a href="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-hits-xbox-game-pass-day-one/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/runescape-dragonwilds-hits-xbox-game-pass-day-one/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pick up a copy before 1.0</a>. Rather than making late buyers pay more, Jagex is keeping the game at its current price, similar to what we have seen from <a href="https://all.gg/news/pocketpair-will-not-raise-palworlds-price-following-version-1-0/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/pocketpair-will-not-raise-palworlds-price-following-version-1-0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Palworld</a>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But that&#8217;s not the only good news for Dragonwilds fans. Jagex has also confirmed that the game&#8217;s first major post-1.0 update is already on the way. <strong>Luminance</strong> will arrive this winter and, just like the game&#8217;s previous updates, will be completely free.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jagex also plans to share more details about its plans for 2027 following this year&#8217;s RuneFest. So, while Dragonwilds is still making its way toward 1.0, it looks like Jagex already has plenty more in store for players once it gets there.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Witcher 3 Remastered and Songs of the Past were probably the biggest highlights of this year&#8217;s Gamescom! Between the pretty <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-witcher-3-remastered-announced-as-a-free-upgrade-with-both-expansions/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">cool announcement trailer</a>, the various <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-witcher-3-songs-of-the-past-story-monsters-combat-and-gwent-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Streams</a> that went on during the entire event, and a ton of interviews and more, CD Projekt Red has definitely given us a lot to eat! And if you missed it, they just released a new Gamescom showcase for The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past that brings together the most important information from the expansion&#8217;s gameplay demo and offers a sneak peek at the new region, characters, monsters, and gameplay improvements.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The expansion takes Geralt to Letten, a new region described by CDPR as being comparable in size to the Blood and Wine expansion&#8217;s region. Inspired by the Polish and English countryside, Letten is known as the &#8220;Land of Plenty&#8221; and initially appears to be an idyllic part of the Continent, largely sheltered from the conflicts affecting the rest of the world.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, there is more going on over there.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A New Adventure With Dandelion</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Geralt&#8217;s journey to Letten is <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-witcher-3-songs-of-the-past-will-send-geralt-searching-for-dandelion/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">connected to his longtime friend Dandelion</a>, whose homeland is the new region. The bard has returned home to deal with family matters, bringing Geralt along for the journey.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The showcase reveals Dandelion&#8217;s real name and noble heritage: Julian Alfred Pankratz, Viscount de Lettenhove. His family home can be found in Letten, but people are not exactly celebrating his return. Black banners throughout the region signal that something has gone wrong. Geralt eventually investigates the Garden of Thorns alongside Lilla, Dandelion&#8217;s cousin, uncovering an old Lettenhove family legend and discovering that the peaceful region has a much darker side.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A More Lively Letten</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Songs of the Past not only leads you to this beautiful but not so safe region, but it will also be much more &#8220;lively&#8221; than the previous ones. NPCs will have more complex daily routines and more detailed dialogue, for example, and the developers want to make Letten feel more alive and give its inhabitants more identities.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-witcher-3-remastered-is-making-geralts-life-much-easier/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Remastered update</a> also brings various combat improvements, including changes to the camera and targeting behavior intended to make combat feel better and more precise, and also more accessibility options.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Gamescom showcase also shows one of Letten&#8217;s new monsters: the Swarmion. This creature protects itself with a swarm of hornets, but Geralt has a new tool to deal with its defenses, because yes, you will finally be able to use the chain. This weapon can be used to target weak points and break through the Swarmion&#8217;s protection.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kingdom Hearts 4 got its first real trailer at the last D23 a few weeks ago, and it turns out the game is making good progress! Director Tetsuya Nomura and co-director Tai Yasue shared a lot of new details about the upcoming game in a recent Famitsu interview. This is not the entire translation of the full interview from the Japanese magazine&#8217;s coverage, but a good part of it has been translated by <a href="https://x.com/KHIsland/status/2092884052340523378?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">KHIsland on Twitter/X</a>, and this has already revealed some interesting information about the game&#8217;s development, worlds, and story!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The World of Coco Is the Most Advanced</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the last trailer, the only world we really see, outside of Quadratum, is Coco. This world is obviously inspired by Pixar&#8217;s Coco, and apparently it was selected very early in Kingdom Hearts 4&#8217;s development and is currently the most advanced world in the game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The city featured in the world is said to be extremely large and more detailed than anything seen in the series before. Its design also places vertical movements at the center, and that means we will have plenty of opportunities to explore both horizontally and vertically. We do see it in the trailer already, with Sora sort of riding on rails in the air and things like that!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Keyblade will also have some unusual uses in the world. It keeps its traditional role as a weapon, but Sora will be able to use it as a guitar, with a lot of musical elements incorporated into combat. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nomura and the team are also keeping some other surprises as a secret for now! So there is probably much more to it than just a bit of music.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fewer Worlds, But More Detailed</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kingdom Hearts 4 will have the most detailed worlds in the series so far. However, that increased level of detail comes with a trade-off. The game will have fewer worlds overall than some previous entries. It is hard to say if this is a good or a bad thing. In a way, if the worlds are really bigger and more detailed, it might be more interesting. We can probably all agree that some of the worlds, especially in Kingdom Hearts 3, could feel a little bit empty. So if we get 2/3 fewer worlds, but on the other side, the worlds we have are more detailed, in theory, it should be a good thing. But unless we can really test it already, it is hard to judge just on that small information.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The story is also expected to connect in some way to the whole mobile χ saga, but Nomura wants new players to be able to follow along without having played the mobile games. Characters such as Vali, Sigurd, and Strelitzia will be introduced in a way that provides the necessary context. This is pretty good news, to be honest! A lot of players were scared that they would be entirely lost with the story, because not everyone played the mobile series. So knowing that we will obtain the necessary context directly in KH4 is definitely a good thing!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Interestingly, Nomura, Yasue, and the development team apparently have a particular fondness for Sigurd and his personality. I played the mobile games, and I do understand why, a little bit. I&#8217;m sure they made him even better in Kingdom Hearts 4 than what we saw in the mobile game!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dandelions will also play an important role in Quadratum. They basically operate as a group cooperating with the city&#8217;s government, with practically every Keyblade wielder who arrives in Quadratum, including Sora, becoming part of the group.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Development Is in the Final Stages</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for development, Kingdom Hearts 4 is apparently now in the &#8220;finalization and polishing phase&#8221;. During the interview, it was revealed that the scenario is already completed. The game&#8217;s script is said to be around twice the size of Kingdom Hearts 3&#8217;s, and the developers are promising &#8220;substantial content and a lengthy experience.&#8221; Giving how KH3&#8217;s ending was rushed, I do hope they take the time necessary to not rush the story this time around.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The team also has a dedicated member specializing in the χ saga who checks the game&#8217;s story for potential inconsistencies. This person is additionally involved in discussions with Disney regarding the story and universe.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, do not expect a huge flood of new information immediately. Nomura warned that the next wave of announcements will not arrive all at once and that the team intends to wait a little longer before revealing more, but he did once again <strong>reconfirm a release in the second half of 2027</strong>!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So basically, new trailers or gameplay details are not going to arrive in the next few weeks, but you can at least prepare for Kingdom Hearts 4 to release in 2027!</p>

Kingdom Hearts 4 is in its final development phase, Nomura confirms a second-half 2027 release and revealed new details about its worlds.

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dragon&#8217;s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is getting more information about its upcoming Relic Expedition system! Capcom released a new gameplay overview where they go a little bit more into detail on the system and what awaits us in the frozen Norgan region. The new video focuses on the Expedition that leads the Arisen to the Norgandian Settlement. This is a lone bastion of peace left in a region that was once prosperous and populated. Now, all that remains of that civilization are timeworn relics of an ancient war guarded by monsters or hidden within the frost-covered lands. If you want to survive outside the settlement, you have to carefully prepare your provisions for the expedition, enhance your gear, and rest properly.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Norgan is not a safe place. It is full of dangerous enemies, including Beorcan warriors, the Norgan Giant, and the ice dragon Fimbl. Defeating these enemies can reward you with powerful relics, and exploring the region can lead to hidden treasures if you search around in abandoned settlements and caves. The settlement&#8217;s direwolf, Freki, can also point you toward valuable discoveries in exchange for a&#8230; small fee.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Relics are not immediately useful in their final form, either. You will need to bring them back to Jiera, the matron of the Norgandian Settlement, who can appraise them and reveal their true potential. Depending on the relic&#8217;s rarity, the resulting weapons and armor can have improved stats, grant new abilities, or enhance skills you already have access to.</p>

So it is not just a small gameplay addition. The update comes with a lot more improvements and content that you will be able to experience and enjoy! This update launches on <strong>October 9, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC</strong>. The expansion will be available <strong>separately for $29.99</strong>, but a bundle containing both the base game and expansion will also launch on <strong>Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for $49.99</strong>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">1001 Threads of Mizan was one of the more interesting new games revealed during Gamescom, and we are now getting another look at its just incredibly beautiful world thanks to a new animated lore trailer. If you were expecting gameplay, you will have to wait a little bit longer. This trailer takes us into the game&#8217;s story, with the legendary Storyweaver Shahrazad telling the tale of the Fisherman and the King. The story is set within an Arabian fantasy world inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, where three unlikely heroes called Yusra, Malik and Sufyan become involved in a conflict that turns out to be much bigger. Their journey revolves around rediscovering the lost power of the Mizan and stopping an ancient Jinn king before his thirst for vengeance threatens humanity.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new trailer really gives us an idea of the mythology and characters that will be a part of this world, and the animation is just amazing.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">An Adventure Built for Co-op</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In case you missed it during Gamescom, <a href="https://all.gg/news/1001-threads-of-mizan-is-a-new-co-op-adventure-inspired-by-one-thousand-and-one-nights/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">1001 Threads of Mizan</a> is being developed and published by MBC Game Studio, and the team includes developers who previously worked at BioWare, Hi-Rez, Ubisoft Montréal, and even Bungie. The game is designed for up to three players, with drop-in, drop-out co-op allowing friends to join and leave without interrupting the adventure. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And yes, you can fly around on magic carpets.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The flying carpets are not just funny mounts either. They are at the heart of the game&#8217;s traversal and gameplay systems, allowing you to fly across the world, explore its environments and even take on enormous jinn together.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After its Gamescom reveal, it is still very early for 1001 Threads of Mizan, but this new lore trailer gives us a little more context for the world that MBC Game Studio is building. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hail the Crimson Moon</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Crimson Moon, you embody a Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid created to defend the world from the forces of Hell. Armed with supernatural abilities and an arsenal of melee weapons, you’ll hack and slash your way through a dark, corrupted world either alone or alongside a friend in co-op.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are plenty of ways to build your Nephilim, with different weapons, armor, abilities, and other upgrades allowing you to shape your character around your preferred playstyle. Every hunt also introduces temporary roguelike boons, giving you new powers and bonuses that can completely change how you approach each run.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As you progress from one run to the next, you’ll battle an ever-evolving horde of demons, undead, vampires, and grotesque Hellgrowth abominations in visceral, <a href="https://all.gg/news/elden-ring-patch-1-17-adds-new-classes-weapons-more/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/elden-ring-patch-1-17-adds-new-classes-weapons-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Souls-inspired melee combat</a>. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The combination of roguelike progression, third-person Soulslike combat, and co-op gameplay has clearly caught the attention of players. <strong>Crimson Moon surpassed 400,000 wishlists before launch</strong>, giving the game <a href="https://all.gg/news/crimson-moon-sets-september-2026-release/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/crimson-moon-sets-september-2026-release/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a sizeable audience</a> eagerly waiting to get their hands on it.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Rough Launch</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Unfortunately, launch day hasn&#8217;t gone completely smoothly. Despite the anticipation surrounding the game, <strong>Crimson Moon</strong> has launched with a handful of issues that the <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4317690/view/693145389614759937?l=english" data-type="link" data-id="https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4317690/view/693145389614759937?l=english" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">developers are already working to address</a>. One of the biggest complaints from PC players is the current lack of customizable keybinds, while some players have also reported problems with co-op progression failing to sync properly.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Those issues are certainly worth keeping in mind if you&#8217;re jumping in right away, but they don&#8217;t completely overshadow what Crimson Moon gets right. The combination of brutal Souls-inspired combat, roguelike builds, supernatural abilities, and co-op makes for a genuinely fun experience.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After all, how can you go wrong with a game that lets you pick up an angelic sword and start carving through demons?</p>

If you&#8217;re a fan of realistic military games or <a href="https://all.gg/news/war-fantasy-hits-30000-wishlists-ahead-of-release/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/war-fantasy-hits-30000-wishlists-ahead-of-release/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hardcore military sims</a>, this is one game you won&#8217;t want to miss.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">WARDOGS Closed Beta</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But if you haven&#8217;t heard of WARDOGS yet, here&#8217;s a quick rundown. WARDOGS is a tactical military sim built around a pretty unique idea: <strong>every part of the war effort is driven by the players.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Capturing and fortifying bases, maintaining supply lines, transporting fellow soldiers between hot zones and objectives, and keeping the frontline supplied are all <a href="https://all.gg/news/iron-nest-hits-400000-sales-in-its-first-week/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/iron-nest-hits-400000-sales-in-its-first-week/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">player-driven activities</a>. More importantly, there&#8217;s an actual incentive to take part in them: <strong>money.</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Almost everything you do on the battlefield can earn you cash. Getting kills, reviving allies, constructing bases, or manually transporting supplies to the frontlines all contribute to your earnings. There&#8217;s also no traditional class system forcing you into a specific role or playstyle.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Different &amp; Better For It</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Instead, specializations like Assault are tied directly to the activities you perform. Using certain weapons or completing specific actions earns XP toward different specializations, allowing you to progress through multiple paths at the same time. As you level up, you&#8217;ll unlock additional gear that lets you further shape your ideal playstyle.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">WARDOGS also heavily encourages proximity voice chat. This isn&#8217;t just useful for coordinating with your fellow soldiers, either. You can use proximity chat to communicate with, or even mess with, enemy players in the middle of a battle.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Speaking of enemies, WARDOGS currently features three different factions to choose from, each with its own dedicated player base, story, and overall theme. However, many of the unlocks are currently similar, if not identical, across factions, meaning choosing one won&#8217;t lock you out of specific weapons or gear.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now, WARDOGS is gearing up for one final beta before making the jump into Early Access. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Moon Studios recently announced that its <a href="https://all.gg/news/no-rest-for-the-wicked-is-more-than-a-souls-like-rpg/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/no-rest-for-the-wicked-is-more-than-a-souls-like-rpg/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">highly anticipated soulslike action RPG</a>, <strong>No Rest for the Wicked</strong>, is delaying its 1.0 launch until next year. However, the delay isn&#8217;t because the team is trying to avoid competing with <a href="https://all.gg/games/gta-vi/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/games/gta-vi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GTA 6</a>. Instead, the developers simply don&#8217;t believe the game is ready to meet their standards yet and want more time to polish the experience.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1.0 Launch Delayed</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>No Rest for the Wicked&#8217;s 1.0 launch is moving from October 2026 to March 2027.</strong> According to Moon Studios, the delay comes down to the team&#8217;s size and its commitment to maintaining the high standards it has set for the game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While the game is getting close to where the team wants it to be, the developers still feel that it needs more time before they can confidently call it a finished product. Rather than rushing toward the October launch window, Moon Studios is taking the extra time to make sure the final 1.0 version delivers on its vision.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The delay also means players will have more opportunities to help shape the game before its full release. Moon Studios plans to host additional private and open beta tests over the coming months, giving the community more chances to provide feedback and influence the final 1.0 build.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>An</strong> <strong>open beta is currently coming out in December</strong>, and everyone who purchases the game on Steam before <strong>January 1, 2027</strong> will receive a Founder&#8217;s Pack upgrade as a thank-you from the development team.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, <strong>PlayStation pre-orders will open in January</strong>, giving PSN players their own opportunity to get involved and earn the Founder&#8217;s rewards ahead of launch.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, Double Fine Productions launched a brand-new Kickstarter campaign to help the freshly independent studio continue making games. The campaign features 26 different game ideas, but there&#8217;s one in particular that immediately stands out above the rest. One of the campaign&#8217;s final stretch goals could finally bring fans a long-awaited sequel to Brutal Legend.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brutal Legend 2</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s right. One of the biggest stretch goals for the Amnesia Fortnight Kickstarter campaign is Brutal Legend 2, potentially bringing back one of Double Fine&#8217;s most beloved games and its unique blend of heavy metal, action, strategy, and humor.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Brutal Legend has become a hard rock and metal classic since its release, featuring a star-studded cast of musicians and metal legends, many of whom are sadly no longer with us. A sequel has been something fans have wanted for years, making its appearance as a potential stretch goal especially exciting.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There&#8217;s already plenty of attention surrounding the campaign, and with 26 different game pitches on the table, fans have plenty of reasons to get involved. Double Fine&#8217;s Amnesia Fortnight tradition has previously helped turn smaller game ideas into full releases, including Costume Quest, Stacking, and Iron Brigade.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The campaign officially launched on August 31 and is running through most of September, giving fans plenty of time to help Double Fine bring some of these ideas to life.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu just received its first major content patch since launch. Update 1.04 adds plenty of new content and improvements, including three horrific new enemies, a new Occult Item, <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-mound-omen-of-cthulhu-gets-a-major-combat-upgrade/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/the-mound-omen-of-cthulhu-gets-a-major-combat-upgrade/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">melee combat changes</a>, and more.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Mound Patch 1.04</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Patch 1.04 introduces three brand-new enemies to the depths of the forest. One of them was featured in the latest teaser trailer and appears to be a massive, wilted vulture. Alongside the new enemies, the developers have also hidden new jewel boxes throughout the forest, which you can locate using your map.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Digging up these jewel boxes gives you a chance to obtain the new Occult Item, <strong>The Rosary</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The patch also brings a major improvement to the command wheel. By popular demand, players can now stop the cart and give the driver specific instructions. However, you&#8217;ll need to stay close enough for the driver to hear you, so proximity still matters.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Melee combat has also received a handful of improvements, making close-quarters encounters feel better overall. On top of that, lobby codes are now automatically generated, making it easier to get into a game with friends.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finally, Patch 1.04 for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu includes a collection of crash and bug fixes, including fixes for issues that could leave players stuck inside the Galleon&#8217;s shops.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The North Calls</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The final fight draws near. Our brave heroes now have one final challenge to face: the perils that lie in the northern frozen waste. Like every other animated trailer, it&#8217;s beautiful and gets the hype flowing, but it also gives us a small sneak peek at the challenges we will have to face.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Near the end of the trailer, we can see our heroes step through a mystical portal, which actually might be the way of leaving the land of Valheim. If you&#8217;ve been keeping up to date with the game&#8217;s lore, Valheim is actually a separate plane of existence that Odin banished a bunch of powerful entities to, and sent us to wipe them out before we are able to leave.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So is the end of Valheim, or will there be more adventures behind that portal? Only time will tell.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Blood of Dawnwalker is just a few days away from release, and the first reviews for Rebel Wolves&#8217; vampire RPG are now starting to arrive. And so far, things are looking pretty good. Did we just get our game of the year? Or at least, RPG of the year?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the time of writing, The Blood of Dawnwalker gets between 83 and 85 on both <a href="https://www.metacritic.com/game/the-blood-of-dawnwalker/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Metacritic </a>and <a href="https://opencritic.com/game/20499/the-blood-of-dawnwalker" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OpenCritic</a>, and the majority of outlets are giving the game a 9 or even a perfect 10. Keep in mind that these are just the very early reviews, so things can go up or down as more outlets and players get their hands on the game. But this is already a really good start for Rebel Wolves!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We looked at a few of the reviews in detail, and the best parts of the game seem to be going toward the world, characters, combat, and choice-driven RPG systems. One reviewer described exploring Vale Sangora as a highlight, and also praised the directional combat and the game&#8217;s time-management mechanics. Talking about these time mechanics, a lot of people were scared that this would ruin the game, since you would be &#8220;rushed&#8221; to save your family, but according to the early reviews, it seems this is not really the case. The game clearly indicates what quests involve time passing, and it is pretty manageable. You are not feeling stressed about the time, and you can easily explore and complete side quests without it ruining your chances of saving your family on time.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Another review called The Blood of Dawnwalker a &#8220;potential Game of the Year contender,&#8221; praising its gameplay, story and overall immersion.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Not everyone is quite as convinced, though. A few more critical reviews point toward performance, balance, and quality-of-life issues, and those feel that some of the gameplay systems do not quite reach the same quality as the game&#8217;s world and storytelling. But the overall reception is clearly positive, particularly for Rebel Wolves&#8217; first game!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And considering the studio has already said that The Blood of Dawnwalker is intended to be the first entry in a larger series, it sounds like plenty of critics are already interested in seeing where this world and its characters go next. The Blood of Dawnwalker launches on September 3, so we will find out very soon if players agree with the early critical reception!</p>

It seems we are not done yet! On top of all the <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-from-police-tracking-to-romance-you-probably-did-not-know-about-this/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">outlets that had early access</a>, content creators have also started to share their first look at the game. <a href="https://youtu.be/3nVF2EY_iHg?si=D_sOtHx5NpApaP5u" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spanish streamer Rubius</a> is one of them, and he shared more details about GTA 6, including some pretty wild stuff.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is worth pointing out that these details come from the creator, and not directly from Rockstar, so it is based on his own opinion and what he was able to test when he went to Rockstar HQ. That said, the information is really interesting and proves just how detailed GTA 6 will be.</p>

There are no quick greetings, and NPC interactions are designed to feel more like real conversations.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game also seems to be taking its physical animations to another level. Jumping into water can involve multiple different animations, including manually controlled backflips while you are in the air, similar to Skate 3 or Spider-Man. So to those who complained about the &#8220;weird&#8221; backflip in the extended look, now you know what happened. It is because you control the backflip yourself. And yes, apparently you can buy cigarettes and even smoke them. The animation lasts much longer than the brief smoking animations seen in RDR2, and smoking can also fill the game&#8217;s Focus meter.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cars Are More Useful Than Ever</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vehicles are being treated more like the horses in RDR2 since you will be able to store heavy weapons and change outfits inside them. You can also request your personal vehicle through an app and have it delivered to your location, similar to how vehicles work in GTA Online.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fancy cars will come with GPS trackers as well. If you steal one, you will need to take it to a specific mechanic to remove the tracker. The new Focus ability can help when stealing cars too, revealing nearby police as well as information such as the vehicle&#8217;s value.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pawn shops will also be scattered around the map, so you will have a few places to sell stolen goods.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">It Is Definitely Not Made for Kids</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the more brutal details concerns dismemberment. Yes, you read that right. According to Rubius, GTA 6 will feature full limb dismemberment&#8230; Basically not limiting particularly gruesome damage to headshots. You can apparently even put bodies in vehicle trunks, and that is certainly one way Rockstar is taking the game&#8217;s criminal sandbox to another level.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Weapons will also behave more naturally. Instead of floating and spinning in place like older GTA pickups, dropped weapons will physically remain on the ground.</p>

You can track down streamers and influencers in the open world when they are broadcasting live, potentially turning social media into another way of discovering things happening around Leonida. Or another way to know exactly where you can steal some fancy material or car&#8230;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are plenty of <a href="https://x.com/iamnotlester/status/2094028250972381474?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">other small details too</a>, including hidden treasures and collectibles on the map&#8217;s smaller islands, but the overall conclusion we can make from this is that Rockstar is going very far with GTA 6&#8217;s world.</p>

Creators Revealed Some Wild New Details About GTA 6


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Are you ready for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered? Because CDPR is adding a lot of new accessibility options that should make Geralt&#8217;s life (and yours) considerably easier. During one of the Red Stream during Gamescom, they showed us the new Accessibility section in the game&#8217;s settings. The options can be toggled individually, meaning you can pick and choose which ones you want to use. There is no obligation to pick any of the features, but if you want things to be a little bit easier, you can toggle one or more on.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some of them are going to be very familiar to anyone who has ever played The Witcher 3, but there are a few quality-of-life mods installed.</p>

<li><strong>Infinite Breath</strong> &#8211; No more worrying about running out of breath underwater or in poisonous gas and smoke.</li>



<li><strong>Unlimited Item Durability</strong> &#8211; Geralt&#8217;s weapons and equipment will never degrade.</li>



<li><strong>Unlimited Boat Durability</strong> &#8211; Your boats can apparently take all the punishment you throw at them.</li>



<li><strong>Ignore Items&#8217; Weight</strong> &#8211; No more constantly being slow because you picked up one too many swords.</li>



<li><strong>Auto Loot Corpses</strong> &#8211; Enemies can be looted automatically instead of manually searching every corpse.</li>



<li><strong>Vitality Regeneration Boost</strong> &#8211; Geralt&#8217;s health regeneration can also be adjusted, including both how much health he recovers and how quickly.</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">CD Projekt Red also said that using these options will not prevent you from earning Trophies or things like that. They are also completely optional, so if you would rather experience The Witcher 3 exactly as it was originally designed, you can simply leave them turned off.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For everyone else, though, being able to get rid of durability, inventory weight, and manual corpse looting is going to remove quite a bit of the game&#8217;s more tedious stuff. And let&#8217;s be honest, Unlimited Boat Durability might be the real game-changer for anyone who has spent hours around Skellige wondering how a perfectly good boat managed to fall apart after fighting approximately three sirens.</p>

The Witcher 3 Remastered Is Making Geralt’s Life Much Easier


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">GTA 6 feels more personal than previous games in the series. At the center of the story are Jason and Lucia, two criminals who find themselves working together in Leonida. But according to Rockstar, their relationship is not simply something that exists in the background of the story.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In fact, it is up to you to decide if you want Jason and Lucia to become a couple or not!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jason and Lucia Start With Feelings for Each Other</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rockstar describes the pair&#8217;s story as a &#8220;Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative&#8221;, with Jason and Lucia becoming partners in both crime and potentially romance.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jason is an ex-military drug runner, and Lucia is a fighter who has recently been released from prison. The two are brought together by their criminal ambitions, but Rockstar has made their relationship one of the main elements of GTA 6&#8217;s story. The interesting part is that the game does not appear to treat their romance as a simple yes-or-no choice. Jason and Lucia already have an interest in being together when the game begins, but how that relationship develops depends on what you really do with them.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And apparently, ignoring your partner is a perfectly valid way of screwing things up. Just like in real life, in the end.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Yes, Ignoring Their Texts Can Affect the Relationship</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When you are playing as Jason or Lucia separately, the other character continues living their own life in the world. They can call or text you, suggest doing something together, or simply check in. And you do not have to answer. Rockstar has explained that repeatedly ignoring your partner&#8217;s messages can negatively affect the relationship. Even seemingly insignificant things, such as responding to a message or saying goodnight, can help maintain that connection. So if you are the kind of player who sees a text notification and immediately closes it because you are busy stealing a car, well&#8230;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jason and Lucia might have something to talk about.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The relationship is also built through spending time together. You can explore Leonida, eat together, shop for clothes, get haircuts, play activities such as pool, mini-golf, and kayaking, or simply walk around and hold hands. And, naturally, you can also rob places together because this is still GTA. You can choose to do all of this alone, or you can decide you want to do it with your Partner. It also works for both Lucia and Jason. Some story missions require someone specific, but when you are doing activities in the open world, you can play only as Lucia or only as Jason if you want to. But if you do that, it means the relationship itself will go nowhere.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">You Do Not Have to Play Them as a Couple</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The romance is not a mandatory system. The partnership between Jason and Lucia is fundamental to the story, and they will always work together when the story requires it, but you are not being forced to constantly roleplay their relationship. You can spend an entire day controlling just Jason or just Lucia and let the other character go about their own business. Both characters also have their own personalities, abilities, and routines, meaning they are not simply two interchangeable protagonists.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The romantic side of their relationship is just something you can engage with more if you want to. Want to spend the afternoon taking Lucia and Jason out for activities together? You can. Want to ignore your girlfriend or boyfriend as you disappear into Leonida for six hours?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Apparently, you can do that too.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">No &#8220;Romance Meter&#8221;</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That is probably the most interesting part of Rockstar&#8217;s approach. They did not add a traditional &#8220;relationship bar&#8221; that goes up every time you select the correct dialogue option or something like that. The relationship is linked to how you spend your time in the open world. If you have been in a relationship before, it pretty much works the same as real life. As simple as that. Doing things together strengthens their bond, and ignoring each other can push them apart. Their individual lives continue when you are not controlling them, and even ordinary interactions can contribute to how close they become.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson has also compared the system to nurturing a real relationship: you have to spend time together. And that also means the relationship could have consequences beyond romance. Rockstar has repeatedly pointed out that player choices can influence how Jason and Lucia&#8217;s story develops, but exactly how far those consequences go remains unclear.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">They also did not make romance provide any kind of gameplay advantage. Getting closer to Lucia or Jason does not suddenly unlock a stronger weapon or give them a 10% damage bonus. It is just about the relationship itself and how players choose to experience these characters.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Happens When Things Go Wrong</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is where the whole thing becomes funny. Rockstar is basically taking one of the most important relationships in GTA 6 and putting some degree of control in the player&#8217;s hands. Jason and Lucia are supposed to have each other&#8217;s backs, and their partnership is the center of the story. But if the game lets players influence how emotionally close they become, that also creates the possibility of something going wrong.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And considering Rockstar&#8217;s history with GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2, I am not entirely convinced they are going to let us get attached to these two without eventually making us regret it. For now, the basic idea is pretty straightforward. Jason and Lucia start GTA 6 wanting to be together. What happens after that is up to you.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can build their relationship by spending time together, communicating, and sharing their lives. Or you can apparently spend the entire game leaving your partner on read.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Just do not be surprised if the other one eventually has enough of your nonsense. And do not forget to take care of your real-life girlfriend either, obviously.</p>

Now that the dust has settled and fans are finally getting through the game after an entire weekend, there&#8217;s often a question that stands for those who haven&#8217;t bought a copy yet. Just how long will it take you to get through Zero Company?</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Engines Running Hot</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now that it&#8217;s been a few days for <a href="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-is-more-than-an-xcom-clone/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-is-more-than-an-xcom-clone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hot-blooded Star Wars fans to blaze through Zero Company</a>, we now have a rough estimate of how long it&#8217;s gonna take for you and your elite squads to finish the game. Overall, most estimate that it&#8217;s going to take you roughly 40 hours to beat the game, or perhaps a little less depending on how quickly you mop up encounters.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As for those who want to try and complete a lot of the side content, not just the main story, you are going to be looking at a 50- to 60-hour playthrough. That&#8217;s to get through all of the side operations, fully managing The Den, and that&#8217;s not even talking about if you want to fully deck out<a href="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-standard-vs-deluxe-vs-collectors/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-standard-vs-deluxe-vs-collectors/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> squad customization.</a></p>

How Long Does Star Wars: Zero Company Take to Beat?

Despite plenty of reports about technical problems and performance issues, Zero Company is proving to be much more than just another XCOM clone.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aim Twice, Fire Once</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Star Wars: Zero Company is already resonating pretty well with Star Wars, XCOM, and turn-based strategy fans. Sure, there&#8217;s plenty of Star Wars flair across the environments, weapons, characters, and story, but there&#8217;s also a lot that separates Zero Company from XCOM.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the end of the day, both games still revolve around taking turns, positioning your squad, and shooting enemies. However, XCOM puts a huge emphasis on <a href="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-beginners-guide-to-tactical-combat/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-beginners-guide-to-tactical-combat/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">positioning, maneuvering, and flanking to maximize your firepower.</a></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Zero Company takes a different approach. Here, your damage output largely comes from combining unit abilities and taking advantage of squad synergies. Cover is still important, but it&#8217;s nowhere near as crucial as it is in XCOM. That&#8217;s partly because almost everything around you is highly destructible, meaning regular weapons can chip away at or completely destroy your cover.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The massive, fight-changing critical hits that are so important in XCOM also aren&#8217;t quite as dominant here. Crits can certainly help, but they feel more like a bonus than something that completely decides an encounter.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Because of this shift in gameplay, understanding your squad and capitalizing on their abilities becomes much more important.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For example, Squad Member D can activate an ability that lets Squad Member B fire for free at the same target. D can then use another ability that targets the enemy being attacked before taking their own shot. Suddenly, you&#8217;ve only manually fired twice, but those abilities have effectively turned those two actions into four shots.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Enemy health is balanced around this kind of ability synergy, too.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In XCOM, you can usually take down an average enemy in four or three shots. In Zero Company, some enemies can take maybe five to seven shots. At first, that can feel like a problem, but once you start combining abilities, the damage adds up incredibly quickly. If you try to play Zero Company exactly like XCOM by simply outflanking enemies and shooting them normally, you&#8217;re going to struggle to put out enough damage.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That&#8217;s really the biggest adjustment you&#8217;ll have to make. Once you understand that the game wants you to build around your squad&#8217;s abilities rather than simply relying on positioning and gunfire, the combat starts to click.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Good &amp; The Bad</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fans are also praising the game&#8217;s art direction, characters, story, and the surrounding Star Wars lore. There&#8217;s a lot to like about Star Wars: Zero Company beyond its unique approach to tactical combat.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Unfortunately, there are still some glaring problems.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the time of writing, plenty of players are still running into <a href="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-minimum-recommended-pc-specs/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/star-wars-zero-company-minimum-recommended-pc-specs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">performance issues and various bugs</a>. These problems ultimately pushed the game into a Mixed review score on Steam during its opening days. Thankfully, that score has since climbed to Mostly Positive, suggesting things are already starting to improve.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That said, there are still plenty of rough edges on what is otherwise a really enjoyable game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Overwatch mechanic can sometimes be buggy, with units occasionally trying to target enemies through walls. Customization options can also fail to save after loading into a new area or starting another mission, and there are still occasional FPS drops that can hurt the experience.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">None of these issues completely ruin the game, but they can definitely become annoying when they keep popping up.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, Star Wars: Zero Company is a good game that just needs a little more post-launch polish. There are plenty of character interactions, a ton of customization options, and plenty of squad abilities to experiment with. More importantly, the story has already managed to hook us.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are just a lot of small, frustrating problems holding the experience back right now.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re a huge fan of tactical turn-based games or Star Wars, you&#8217;re probably going to have a great time with Zero Company. However, it might be worth giving the game a little more time before jumping in, especially if you&#8217;re hoping to avoid some of the technical problems that are still being worked out.</p>

Star Wars Zero Company is winning over tactical strategy fans with its unique squad abilities, but some post-launch issues remain.


Star Wars Zero Company Is More Than an XCOM Clone


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rebellion recently dropped a new trailer for its latest single-player action-adventure FPS, Alien Deathstorm, and has since released several gameplay and behind-the-scenes trailers since Gamescom opening night.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is Alien Deathstorm?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Alien Deathstorm is an <a href="https://all.gg/news/sprawl-zero-finally-gets-a-release-date/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/sprawl-zero-finally-gets-a-release-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upcoming new single-player FPS</a> where you explore a devastating off-world colony that is ravaged by a cataclysmic mega-storm, whilst being overrun by bloodthirsty aliens. Everything is going downhill fast. What you initially thought was a rescue mission is now turning into a<a href="https://all.gg/news/aliens-fireteam-elite-2-has-a-rough-launch/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/aliens-fireteam-elite-2-has-a-rough-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> serious fight for survival.</a></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During Gamescom, thousands of players got to see what it will be like to step into the shoes as an isolated Engineer <a href="https://all.gg/news/one-of-the-best-retro-fps-games-cultic-comes-to-consoles/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/one-of-the-best-retro-fps-games-cultic-comes-to-consoles/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">faced against unsurrmountable odds</a>. You will have to use whatever firepower you can amass and whatever skills you possess to discover what is going on in the colony.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Since opening night, Rebellion has pushed out more than just the brand-new trailer from Gamescom. They have also put out a full 11-minute gameplay reveal, and another 25-minute video walking through the &#8220;Reactor Meltdown&#8221; section.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Currently, Alien Deathstorm is going to release sometime around spring 2027. Rebellion has unveiled several new Alien Deathstorm trailers, giving fans a deeper look at its upcoming single-player FPS and its deadly

Alien Deathstorm Shows Off 25 Minutes of Gameplay


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fear of GTA&#8217;s imminent release is pushing yet another game back to 2027. During the first few days of Gamescom, Halberd Studios recently made the tough call to delay their upcoming, highly anticipated Metroidvania, Mariachi Legends, to next year.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Another Day, Another Delay</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The shadow of <a href="https://all.gg/news/could-gta-6-online-really-take-2-years-to-arrive/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/could-gta-6-online-really-take-2-years-to-arrive/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GTA 6</a> continues to scare off a lot of publishers and game companies from releasing their games this fall. Sadly, another is taking this approach. Recently, Halberd Studios said they are pushing <strong>Mariachi Legends back to April 27, 2027. </strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">They ensure they want the game to be as polished and refined as possible, but GTA is also likely another major reason for the delay. But surely it&#8217;s not all for nothing.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Along with this announcement, we got a brand new gameplay trailer during this year&#8217;s Gamescom, so fans got a little extra something to tide them over.</p>

Mariachi Legends is the latest game pushed into 2027, with GTA 6 looming over its original release window.

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are only a couple of months before the release of GTA 6, but there is still one pretty big part of the game that Rockstar has not talked about at all, and it is GTA 6 Online. As you probably know by now, the <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-extended-look-netflix/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">extended look at the game</a> was released this week on Netflix and YouTube, and a huge amount of <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-from-police-tracking-to-romance-you-probably-did-not-know-about-this/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">new information was also revealed</a> through various previews and interviews. Following all that, <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2026/08/29/why-rockstar-has-said-nothing-about-gta-6-online-so-far/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forbes&#8217; Paul Tassi has talked about Rockstar&#8217;s</a> complete silence surrounding the multiplayer side of the game. He thinks we could potentially be waiting a lot longer than expected.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Keep in mind that anything that was said and will be talked about here is only speculation. Rockstar has not talked about it, nothing official has been released concerning GTA 6 Online and when we can expect it. So do not take the following as the official date for the release of GTA 6 Online. It is only speculation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Where Is GTA 6 Online?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The situation is really interesting when you compare it to GTA 5. The previous game launched on September 17, 2013, and GTA Online followed just two weeks later on October 1.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, but if Online were to release so shortly after the base game, we would probably already know about it. You might therefore expect Rockstar to have at least started talking about their multiplayer plans by now. Except they have not. Rockstar has shown almost half an hour of GTA 6 gameplay, talked in detail about Jason, Lucia, the open world, missions, <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-reinvents-the-wanted-system-with-smarter-police-and-criminal-profiles/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">police, robberies</a> and pretty much every other aspect of the game. But GTA 6 Online has barely been mentioned at all.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even Rockstar&#8217;s official GTA 6 page currently only shows the upcoming single-player game and does not provide any information about an online mode.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Could GTA 6 Online Be 1-2 Years Away?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That is where the speculation comes in. According to Forbes, one possibility is that GTA 6 Online could arrive a year or even two years after the launch of the main game. That is obviously a very different situation from GTA 5, where we only had to wait a couple of weeks. But there is a fairly logical reason Rockstar might take this approach. GTA 5 has been around for more than a decade, and GTA Online is still making money. Rockstar could therefore allow GTA 6 to launch on its own, let players spend months exploring the new single-player experience, and watch how the existing GTA Online audience reacts before introducing its successor.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It would also give the studio more time to make sure GTA 6 Online is ready instead of trying to launch everything simultaneously. And considering the fact that Rockstar pointed out that the single-player game is not even finished yet, it would make sense if they need more time to perfect the online mode as well!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">We Just Do Not Know Yet</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, Rockstar has not said that GTA 6 Online is launching one or two years after GTA 6. In fact, Rockstar has not officially announced a release date for GTA 6 Online at all. The one- or two-year timeline is simply Forbes&#8217; speculation based on Rockstar&#8217;s silence, the current state of GTA Online, and how much work remains to be done on GTA 6 itself.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So for now, it is entirely possible that Rockstar surprises everyone and launches GTA 6 Online much sooner, but after seeing just how much Rockstar has been willing to reveal about GTA 6 and saying practically nothing about its multiplayer plans, a delayed Online launch does not sound completely unreasonable either.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Let&#8217;s be honest, Rockstar probably has very little reason to rush it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">GTA 6 is already going to be one of the biggest game launches ever when it arrives on November 19, 2026, so it does not really matter if GTA 6 Online arrives two weeks later like its predecessor, several months later, or even one or two years down the line. We will just have to wait for Rockstar to finally tell us what they are planning!</p>

Could GTA 6 Online Really Take 2 Years to Arrive?


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Well, it looks like EA Motive was not quite ready to show us Marvel&#8217;s Iron Man yet. More than two and a half minutes of footage from the studio&#8217;s upcoming Iron Man game appeared online yesterday, and let&#8217;s just say that everyone has been sharing it and talking about it. Hard for the studio to just ignore it at this point, and even if the footage is clearly from an unfinished build, there is already quite a lot to see.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Flying, Combat, and More</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are multiple bits of footage, including one with Tony Stark taking off into the sky, using Iron Man&#8217;s jet boots to fly around what appears to be Chicago, but that is not something we can confirm. The flying is probably the most interesting part of the leak. Iron Man can rapidly accelerate through the city, hover in place, and change direction in a way that looks surprisingly fluid.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And if it looks familiar, there is a pretty good reason. The flight system appears to share some similarities with Anthem that had a good jet-powered traversal mechanic. Considering how well that system worked in Anthem, borrowing some of those ideas for an Iron Man game makes a lot of sense.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We also have footage of combat, with Tony smashing enemies into the ground, throwing them around and using the suit&#8217;s various weapons. There are missiles, lasers and attacks that can be performed when he is hovering in the air, suggesting that combat is not going to be limited to simply flying around and punching things.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We also get a detailed look at Tony Stark himself since we see him suit up, and it looks pretty cool. Does not seem to be the model of RDJ sadly though. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can probably notice that this is clearly not a finished build. There is a lot the team has to work on before the game is ready to be released, but it is still a nice first look, and it definitely hyped up a ton of players! A lot of sections still contain placeholder assets, some of the cutscenes look unfinished, the footage itself is also watermarked &#8220;AUG26 TEST&#8221;, and that means this is a development build and not anything close to a final version of the game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And apparently, the studio was not particularly thrilled about us seeing it this early, but they did take it with humor.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">EA Motive Has Already Reacted</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">They could not really ignore the footage, so EA Motive just acknowledged what happened. The <a href="https://x.com/ironmangame/status/2093430802004512918?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">studio posted a funny response</a>:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Let&#8217;s be honest, that is probably about as good a response to a leak as you can get. EA Motive clearly was not planning to show this footage yet, but instead of pretending it does not exist, they essentially acknowledged that fans have now seen it, and they simply made it clear that there is plenty more to come once they are ready to show it off properly.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now we just have to wait until EA Motive is ready to show us the real thing!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Final Fantasy 7 Remake project has always been about more than simply remaking the original game, and the closer we get to the last part, the more Naoki Hamaguchi has made that even clearer. During an <a href="https://x.com/Genki_JPN/status/2093632190181773564?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">interview at Gamescom</a>, the director explained that one of the main goals of the entire Remake project is to bring the entire Final Fantasy 7 Compilation together into one new story.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And yes, that includes Advent Children.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">FF7 Revelation Includes Advent Children</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the interview with FYNG Gamescom, Hamaguchi explained that the team wants to create a new version of Final Fantasy 7 that incorporates the full universe surrounding the original game. That includes Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, and the other Compilation titles. So basically, they do not want to treat those as completely separate pieces of FF7 history anymore. When the remake trilogy ends, it will pretty much mean the entire universe will be one. Sort of.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;The theme that we have set ourselves for the whole of the Remake project is we want to create a new FF7 from scratch which includes all of the settings of the wider universe, compilation products, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, all the others.&#8221;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When asked specifically about Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Hamaguchi made it clear that the movie is also part of that vision.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That is already a pretty significant confirmation, but Hamaguchi then made a distinction that makes the situation way more interesting.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Including Advent Children Does Not Mean Ending With Advent Children</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Advent Children has always been special. It was always a little bit blurry when it came to deciding if the movie is really canon or not, but now, it is pretty clear that it is. But according to Hamaguchi, there is a difference between the Remake project relating to Advent Children and including Advent Children as part of its story. And even if the latter is happening, that does not necessarily mean Cloud and the rest of the party are destined to reach the same ending we saw in the movie. Hamaguchi explained that one of the things the team wants players to discover for themselves is if the adventures of Cloud and his friends ultimately lead to the same conclusion as Advent Children, or if the Remake project takes things somewhere completely different.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In other words, Advent Children is canon to what the team is doing, but its ending is not necessarily the one you will get in Revelation. And that is a pretty big distinction.</p>

It does include Advent Children, that is part of the overall story, but whether it turns out that the ending, the results of Cloud and his team&#8217;s adventures takes you to that same ending or whether it goes somewhere else is something you will have to find out while playing the game.&#8221;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The team could potentially incorporate elements, characters, events, and ideas from Advent Children into the new story, and still take Cloud&#8217;s journey in an entirely different direction by the time Revelation reaches its conclusion.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Considering everything the Remake project has already changed, it should not come as a huge surprise.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Entire FF7 Compilation Is Coming Together</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This also gives us a better idea of what Square Enix means when they talk about creating a new Final Fantasy 7 from scratch. They never just took the 1997 game and rebuilt it. The Remake project was always an attempt to bring together decades of FF7 material into one big story. Crisis Core has already become an important part of the modern FF7 story, and characters and concepts from the rest of the Compilation have found their way into the Remake project over time as well.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And now Hamaguchi has explicitly confirmed that Advent Children is part of that picture too. The really interesting question is therefore no longer &#8220;Does Revelation lead into Advent Children?&#8221; but &#8220;What does Advent Children look like after Revelation?&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Because if the team is including the movie&#8217;s story in this new version of FF7 but is not necessarily recreating its exact ending, there is clearly still plenty of room for things to go in a very different direction, and that is probably exactly what Hamaguchi wants us to wonder about. For now, we will have to wait until Final Fantasy 7 Revelation releases to find out if Cloud&#8217;s new journey eventually brings him to the same place we already know from Advent Children, or if Square Enix has something completely different planned.</p>

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Includes the Entire FF7 Compilation


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Organized every year by the Foundation for Digital Games Culture as part of Gamescom, the awards celebrate some of the most impressive games, trailers, booths, and exhibitors presented during the event. The final day of the show has brought one of the usual highlights of the event, with the <a href="https://www.gamescom.global/en/program/gamescom-award" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gamescom Awards 2026 winners</a> now officially revealed. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And there are a few pretty big winners this year!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past Dominates</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The biggest winner is probably The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt &#8211; Songs of the Past.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">CD Projekt&#8217;s upcoming expansion picked up Best Booth (Jury), Best Merch and Best Trailer, giving it three awards overall. That is particularly impressive considering the expansion only made its big Gamescom start this year, with its new story, characters and setting attracting plenty of attention throughout the show.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Onimusha: Way of the Sword was another big winner, taking home Best Gameplay as well as Best Sony PlayStation Game. So if you are looking at the games that impressed the most, those two certainly had a good show!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With the Gamescom Awards now handed out, that is pretty much it for another year. We have had plenty of <a href="https://all.gg/news/gamescom-opening-night-live-2026-all-announcements-and-upcoming-games/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">new announcements</a>, trailers, <a href="https://all.gg/news/gamescom-interview-silver-palace-devs-talk-house-of-greed-exploration-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">interviews</a>, <a href="https://all.gg/news/ananta-gets-release-date-and-new-trailer-showing-cities-and-vehicles/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">gameplay reveals</a>, and hands-on impressions throughout the week, and there is certainly no shortage of games to keep an eye on for the next few years. But if there is one game that seems to have left Gamescom with the biggest collection of trophies and the biggest hype, it is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt &#8211; Songs of the Past!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And considering the expansion is only releasing next year, at least you can soon enjoy the remastered version of the base game and two previous expansions at the end of September!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Airship Syndicate recently announced their latest isometric title, and it looks amazing so far. DUST: Origins is an isometric action-horror shooter currently being developed by the creators of Darksiders, Battle Chasers, and Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is DUST: Origins?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In DUST: Origins, you play as a lucky individual abruptly freed from cryostasis to find Limbo-6, an orbital processing platform floating over the ruthless prison planet of Dross. Everything is collapsing. Its orbit decays, major systems are failing, and guards are mercilessly executing inmates like you. You now fight to escape a murderer&#8217;s row of <a href="https://all.gg/news/quasimorph-is-a-brutal-cyberpunk-roguelike-hidden-gem/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/quasimorph-is-a-brutal-cyberpunk-roguelike-hidden-gem/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">violent criminals and horrifying monsters</a> before the station tears itself apart. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Your actions matter and ultimately shape the world around you. Unlike other isometric games, this isn&#8217;t a roguelike, nor is every map procedurally generated. Instead, this is a handcrafted experience with multiple paths and endings. Everyone can live, or die. There&#8217;s more than one way off Limbo-6, but the choice is yours.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ultimately, DUST: Origins already looks amazing. A bunch of small clips showcase traversal, the crushing difficulty, characters, dialogue interactions, crafting, and more. But what ultimately sold us is that the renowned comic artist Joe Mads is best known for his work on Darksiders, Uncanny X-Men, and, of course, Battle Chasers.</p>

DUST: Origins Looks Like an Isometric Horror Hit


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s been a long while since we heard any fresh news about Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster. Since its reveal during <a href="https://all.gg/news/biggest-announcements-from-warhammer-skulls-2026/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/biggest-announcements-from-warhammer-skulls-2026/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Skulls 2026</a>, the game has been mostly quiet, but that&#8217;s finally changed. During <a href="https://all.gg/news/gamescom-opening-night-live-2026-all-announcements-and-upcoming-games/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/gamescom-opening-night-live-2026-all-announcements-and-upcoming-games/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gamescom 2026</a>, fans got a brand-new gameplay reveal, and it&#8217;s looking like everything we could want from a Skaven game.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Escape. Kill. Ascend.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Deathmaster, you play as a sneaky, stabby, and absolutely ruthless Skaven. Break out of your cage, crawl through the shadows, sneak past enemies, and stab your way up through the ranks of your colony in this brand-new 2D stealth platformer. Fans were quick to point out that the game looks and feels a lot like Mark of the Ninja, and honestly, it&#8217;s a pretty accurate comparison.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new gameplay trailer shows off several of the ways you&#8217;ll navigate through each level. You can drop down on your fellow ratmen from above, throw junk around to distract enemies, and even set up small traps to catch your prey.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Of course, sneaking around isn&#8217;t the only thing you&#8217;ll be doing. Kill, climb, and slay your way through the ranks of the Eshin Clan as you fight to claim your rightful place in Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster.</p>

Deathmaster Is the Skaven Game We’ve Been Waiting For


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The developers behind Space Marine 2 are back with their<a href="https://all.gg/news/space-marine-2-officially-adds-steam-workshop-support/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/space-marine-2-officially-adds-steam-workshop-support/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> monthly update blog</a>, and this time they’re giving fans a closer look at the new content coming with Patch 15. From a brand-new Chaos-focused mode to major class changes and some long-requested customization options, there’s a lot to look forward to.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chaos Siege Mode</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Easily the biggest addition coming with Patch 15 is the brand-new Chaos Siege Mode. For the first time, players will be able to fight alongside Chaos Space Marines on a brand-new Siege map set on Avarax.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Of course, things won’t be easy. You’ll have to survive waves of Tyranids and Loyalists while receiving support from Chaos Cultists and Ritualists. You’ll also be able to deploy a Helbrute onto the battlefield, giving you some serious firepower to help wreak havoc on your enemies.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Crucible Mode</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That’s not the only new mode coming with Patch 15. Players will soon be able to step into the Crucible and take on additional Penances designed to make their Operations even more challenging.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Taking on a Penance will apply a personal debuff to your character, making your mission harder in some way. However, there’s a worthwhile reward for taking on the extra challenge.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Completing an Operation while a Penance is active will earn you Purity XP, which can then be used to unlock unique customization items and armor pieces. You’ll simply need to speak with the Chapter Chaplain to select your Penance before heading into an Operation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tactical Rework &amp; One-Handed Thunder Hammer</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Patch 15 is also giving the Tactical class a major rework, with the developers looking to make the class more versatile and open up new ways to build your Marine.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Tactical skill tree is getting a makeover as well, with more diverse options that should give players greater freedom when creating their builds. The class is also expanding its melee arsenal, a frequent community request.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tactical Marines will now be able to equip a Power Sword, Power Axe, or One-Handed Thunder Hammer by sacrificing their Primary Weapon slot. This opens the door for dedicated melee builds that can play very differently from the Tactical class we know today.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Oh yeah, and we’re getting a One-Handed Thunder Hammer.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new weapon will be available to Assault, Bulwark, Techmarine, and, of course, Tactical Marines. It should be a pretty fun addition for anyone who enjoys smashing through enemies with a massive hammer.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cape Recolour</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finally, the developers are adding something that has been long overdue: cape customization.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Starting with Patch 15, players will be able to dye their capes in any color they want. It’s a relatively small addition compared to the new modes and class rework, but it gives players another way to personalize their Space Marines.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After all, if you’re going to purge the enemies of the Emperor, you might as well look good doing it.</p>

Thankfully, that wait is finally over. Update 2 is launching next week, and it&#8217;s bringing a ton of new features, upgrades, enemies, and changes to how difficulty works.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core Update 2</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Update 2 is shaping up to be a pretty substantial one, introducing several features players have been asking for since Rogue Core entered Early Access. So, let&#8217;s dive into some of the biggest changes coming next week.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First up, <strong>Threat Levels are finally being added</strong>, giving players more control over how difficult they want their runs to be. Higher Threat Levels will also reward players with additional XP, giving you another reason to push yourself.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">More importantly, Threat Levels will completely uncouple <strong>game difficulty from Depth</strong>. Difficulty will also become independent from the mission timer, giving players much more control over how they want each run to play out.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When Update 2 launches, you&#8217;ll be able to select a Threat Level when choosing a mission, much like how difficulty works in Deep Rock Galactic.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Here&#8217;s how the new system works:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Threat Level:</strong> The five Threat Levels affect the number of enemies, swarm frequency, enemy health and movement, enemy aggression (including attack frequency and projectile speed), and overall damage.</li>



<li><strong>Assault Pace:</strong> This controls the pacing of your run by adding more or less time to the mission timer. Tone it down if you want to take your time, or ramp it up if you work best under pressure.</li>



<li><strong>Depth:</strong> Depth will now primarily determine which bosses and boss biomes you have access to. Rather than tying Depth directly to difficulty and the mission timer, it will now act more as a progression system for unlocking content. For now, Depth 4 will remain locked until the fourth boss is ready.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Boss Invulnerability Phases Removed</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Boss fights are also getting a major change thanks to an absolutely massive amount of player feedback.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Long boss invulnerability phases are being removed. Instead, bosses will either briefly block attacks or use blocking mechanics that players can work around with careful aim, AoE damage, or simply repositioning themselves.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This should make boss fights feel much more active instead of forcing players to sit around waiting for an invulnerability phase to end.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Upgrades &amp; Artifacts</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Upgrade pool is also expanding once again, with Update 2 putting a bigger focus on elemental damage.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Seven new Expenite Upgrades and one new Artifact are coming with the update:</p>

<li><strong>Spark-Booster:</strong> When enemies in medium range are electrocuted, gain 45% movement speed for +3 seconds.</li>



<li><strong>Grid-Shock:</strong> Damaging electrified targets spreads +50% electric damage to other enemies connected via electrical arcs.</li>



<li><strong>Weathering Blast:</strong> When active Stone Skin expires, deal 50 Ice damage in short range. Gain +25 additional damage per 5 Stone Skin lost.</li>



<li><strong>Icy Shrapnel:</strong> Hitting frozen targets launches ice fractures in the opposite direction, dealing +25% Ice damage in a Short Range cone.</li>



<li><strong>Icicle Strike:</strong> Power Attacks spawn icicles that last for +5 seconds.</li>



<li><strong>Concussive Shot:</strong> Weakpoint hits have a 25% chance to stun targets for +2 seconds. Destroying breakable weakpoints guarantees the stun and doubles its duration.</li>



<li><strong>Frostbane:</strong> For every active Stone Skin, gain +5% Ice bonus on all melee damage.</li>



<li><strong>[ARTIFACT] Nuclear Optics:</strong> Enemies caught in your flashlight beam take 30 Radiation damage per second.</li>
</ol>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Enemy, Old Weapon</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There&#8217;s also a brand-new enemy lurking in the caves of Hoxxes. The <strong>Voidkin Dominator</strong> is a tankier and harder-hitting version of its smaller cousin, the Drifter, giving players another threat to worry about during their runs.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Thankfully, you&#8217;ll have an old favorite returning to help deal with it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The fan-favorite <strong>Lok-1 Smart Rifle</strong> is making its way into Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core. The weapon will also retain its unique auto-lock firing mechanism, giving players another familiar tool to bring into the depths.</p>

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core Update 2 is bringing Threat Levels, boss changes, new elemental upgrades, and the return of the Lok-1 Smart Rifle.


Rogue Core Update 2 Finally Adds Threat Levels


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ananta has been showing off a lot during Gamescom, and the latest beta footage finally gives us a look at the female version of the game&#8217;s protagonist. Until now, most of the trailers we have seen have focused on the male protagonist, but new gameplay footage has now revealed the female MC in action.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And that is not the only interesting detail. Ananta&#8217;s character switching looks very familiar. In Ananta, you can freely switch between all the playable characters, and the transition looks similar to GTA 5&#8217;s character switching. Basically, there is no big dark loading screen when you change characters.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Instead, the camera pulls away from the character you are currently controlling, rises high above the city, and then transitions towards the character you have selected before dropping back down.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is a pretty easy way of handling the switch, especially considering how seamless the rest of Ananta&#8217;s open world appears to be. This way, it does not cut abruptly from one character to another, at least. And considering that Ananta is built around having multiple characters with their own abilities and stories, we are probably going to be seeing this animation quite a lot.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Every Character Can Be Unlocked Through the Story</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You probably already know that, but the developers have now once again confirmed how Ananta&#8217;s character system works. There is no character gacha, and they can all be unlocked through story missions. So no character banners to pull from and no random rolls needed to get the character you want. Instead, you just play through the game and unlock the characters as you progress through its story. This has been one of the more unusual aspects of Ananta since the game started showing more of its systems, particularly given that it is a free-to-play open-world RPG coming from NetEase.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The developers have also explained once again that they wanted players to be able to experience the different lives and stories of the game&#8217;s characters without putting them behind a gacha system. So if you see a character you really like, you will not have to start saving up currency and praying to the RNG gods. Just play the story. And considering how many characters Ananta is introducing, that is probably for the best.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you want to know a bit more about the game, the developers just had a small interview at Gamescom, where they revealed a little bit more about some systems. It is only between 6 and 7 minutes long, so it is an easy watch:</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It seems Vincent Valentine might be a little too fun to play in Final Fantasy VII Revelation!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During a recent Gamescom appearance, director Naoki Hamaguchi talked about Vincent&#8217;s combat and admitted that there is one small problem with how good the character feels to control! He is worried players might just use Vincent for the entire game. And after hearing how his combat works, I can kind of see why!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Basically, Vincent can freely switch between his two combat styles at any time. In his normal form, he is a long-range gunslinger, and you can attack enemies from a distance. But he can also transform into his Beast form, switching over to close-range melee combat. The nice part is also that you are not locked into one form for a specific period of time. You can switch between them whenever you want, letting Vincent adapt to what is happening during a fight.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So you have basically got a character who can stand back and unload with his guns before suddenly turning into a giant beast and beating the living hell out of whatever is still standing.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hamaguchi apparently thinks this might make Vincent a &#8220;little too appealing.&#8221; The director joked that he is worried players will end up using Vincent all the time because his combat feels so good. And considering Vincent was already one of the more mysterious characters in the original Final Fantasy VII, and a lot of players are waiting to play him in Revelation, he is probably right to be worried about this.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game will also explore Vincent&#8217;s past way more. Hamaguchi previously teased that Revelation will reveal parts of his history that we have not seen before. Of course, Vincent is not the only new playable character in Revelation. Cid Highwind will also become playable, and the game is expanding combat with new systems and more options for how the party fights as well. SO we will definitely have a lot to test and play with!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But let&#8217;s be honest.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now we all want to see exactly how ridiculous that Beast form feels once we get our hands on him.</p>

Naoki Hamaguchi says Vincent’s combat feels so good in FF7 Revelation that he worries players might never want to play another character.


FF7 Revelation Director Is Worried Vincent Will Be Too Fun to Put Down


<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If there is one thing we have learned from all the <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-from-police-tracking-to-romance-you-probably-did-not-know-about-this/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GTA 6 previews</a> following Rockstar&#8217;s <a href="https://all.gg/news/gta-6-extended-look-netflix/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Netflix extended look</a>, it is that the police are not going to be nearly as easy to deal with this time around. And no, I do not just mean that there are more police cars.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rockstar has apparently completely reworked the way the wanted system functions in GTA 6. Police do not simply know that you have committed a crime and magically appear around the corner anymore. Instead, the game keeps track of what the police really know about you, including your appearance, clothing, vehicle, and even if you were seen with another person or not.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The result is a system where escaping the police is much more about thinking on your feet than simply driving around until those stars disappear.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Need to Know You Committed a Crime</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is probably the biggest fundamental change. In previous GTA games, committing a crime immediately resulted in a wanted level because, well, the game knows you did it. If you robbed a bank and killed a bunch of civilians, the game knew about it directly, and Police cars just started chasing you. All you had to do next was pretty much just drive fast and long enough until it went away. GTA 6 is taking a more realistic approach.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A crime has to be &#8220;detected&#8221; before the police respond. That can happen because an NPC witnesses what you did, or because something like an alarm alerts the authorities. So if you steal a car, but no one saw you steal it, well&#8230; it is now your car, and no one will ever know about it. Same with a robbery. If you rob a bank, but no NPC calls the authorities, or no one saw your face, they are not going to chase after you specifically. Once police are called, they do not simply spawn around Jason or Lucia. Instead, officers receive information about the incident and investigate the location where the crime was reported. And even after you leave, that location can remain a &#8220;hot area&#8221;, with police continuing to search for suspects until things eventually cool down.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This means getting away from the initial crime scene does not necessarily mean you are completely in the clear either.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You might have escaped the cops, but if they have already got a description of you, you are still going to need to think about what happens next.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Can Identify Your Appearance</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is where things get particularly interesting. Police can have information about what Jason or Lucia looks like, and the game can display separate indicators beneath your wanted level showing what information the police have about the suspect.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Your appearance therefore becomes part of the escape itself.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For example, changing your hairstyle can remove the appearance identification, because you have physically changed how you look.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But simply putting on a hat or changing your glasses is not enough. If police have identified your clothing, you will need to change your entire outfit. Suddenly, those spare clothes you have been storing in the trunk of your car have a very practical purpose. You can keep a change of clothes in your vehicle, get away from the crime scene, and then change into something completely different to make it harder for police to match you to their description.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And yes, masks are useful too. Wearing a mask during a crime and removing it afterwards can prevent police from getting a usable description of your face, even if CCTV footage captured the crime. So apparently, GTA 6 is finally making the classic &#8220;put on a mask before robbing the place&#8221; strategy more than just a cosmetic choice.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Your Getaway Car Can Betray You</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Your appearance is not the only thing police can identify. They can also identify the vehicle you are driving. That means simply changing your clothes is not necessarily enough if you are still driving the same car that was seen fleeing the crime scene. Abandoning your vehicle and switching to another one can therefore become an important part of escaping. And your car can cause problems in other ways, too.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vehicles can contain trackers, with some cars being easier for police to track than others. You can eventually have trackers removed through a vehicle fence once you have unlocked that option, but older vehicles can be less sophisticated and therefore easier to use when you are trying to stay off the radar. So suddenly, your choice of getaway car matters. You might not want to steal the latest Tesla to escape a crime scene. Maybe that very old car sitting in a corner will be way more useful.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jason and Lucia Can Split Up</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The police also need to account for the fact that there are two protagonists. If officers know Jason and Lucia are working together, the two can deliberately split up during a chase. One character can draw the police&#8217;s attention and the other gets away. Once the situation is safe, the other protagonist can even send a text letting them know that the coast is clear. You can also commit a crime alone, and then change your clothes and call the other one to join you, making it look like you are just a couple on a walk.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This gives you another way to break the police&#8217;s identification of the suspects. If the police are looking for two people travelling together and suddenly one of them disappears in another direction, you have potentially just made their job considerably harder. It is another example of Rockstar building the wanted system around what the police really know. This time, the game is not just giving you some stars that need to disappear.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Wanted Stars Can Tell You What the Police Know</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is even a visual indication of how much information the police have. Obviously, the more stars, the harder it is to get rid of cops looking for you. But you also have various icons under the stars that pretty much indicate exactly the details the police know about the fugitive. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We do not have all the details about these icons, but here are some examples:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Two heads = they are looking for two criminals, so you need to split up</li>



<li>One head = they know what you look like</li>



<li>The dressing thing = they know what you are wearing</li>



<li>The car = they know the car you are driving</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You will have to adapt your escape strategy depending on what the police know. And when police do not know what the suspect looks like, the traditional white wanted stars can apparently become hollow outlines. The idea is that if you can just leave the area and the police do not have a usable description of you, the situation can clear without requiring some ridiculous chase across half of Leonida. So you can commit crimes in silence, if you are good enough.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Cities are also particularly more difficult to escape from because of dense traffic, narrow streets, and huge numbers of NPCs. Sometimes, escaping on foot becomes much more useful. Rockstar has redesigned running, jumping, and climbing, allowing Jason and Lucia to move through alleys and side streets faster when a car is not the best option.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Police Are Not the Only Thing You Need to Worry About</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new wanted system also connects to another big addition called the Criminal Profile.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You could compare it to the Honor meter in Red Dead Redemption 2, but  GTA 6&#8217;s Criminal Profile apparently tries to take the context of your actions into account. There is not necessarily a simple &#8220;good&#8221; or &#8220;bad&#8221; way to play. For example, defending yourself during an altercation or shooting someone who is shooting at you first is not treated in the same way as randomly escalating a situation and killing innocent civilians.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Repeated unnecessary violence and excessive chaos can negatively affect your Criminal Profile. On the other hand, positive actions can move it in the opposite direction. Yes, that apparently includes things as mundane as feeding stray animals or properly disposing of your trash. Your Criminal Profile is tracked through a menu, so at least you do not constantly see a number going up and down.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson, there is not a single &#8220;right&#8221; or &#8220;wrong&#8221; way to play, and it is really just the fact that consistent actions can influence how the world reacts to you and potentially how the story develops. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That also means the game distinguishes between crimes that are part of the story and crimes you commit simply because you felt like doing them. So if a mission requires you to shoot your way out of a robbery, you are not necessarily going to get punished for that in the same way as randomly murdering people on the street.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">GTA 6 Wants You to Think Before You Shoot</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the end, this is still GTA. If you want to shoot everything, shoot it. Nothing will keep you from doing it. But, this time, what changes is basically how the world will react to you doing whatever you want. All of this points towards a very different approach to crime compared with GTA 5.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">GTA 6 wants you to think about the consequences:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Did someone see you?</li>



<li>Did CCTV capture you?</li>



<li>Do the police know what you are wearing?</li>



<li>Do they know what your car looks like?</li>



<li>Are they looking for one person or two?</li>



<li>Does your vehicle have a tracker?</li>



<li>Can you change your appearance?</li>



<li>Should you abandon the car?</li>



<li>Should Jason and Lucia split up?</li>



<li>Can you leave the area before the police get a proper description?</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The police are not stronger, but they are more informed, and this means that you need to understand what the police know about you and deliberately remove those clues one by one. It is a much more complicated system, and honestly, it might be one of the biggest improvements GTA 6 is bringing to the series. Because if all of this works as Rockstar is promising, getting six stars in GTA 6 might be the easy part.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Victorian World Filled With Mysteries</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For those who are new to this, Silver Palace is being built in Unreal Engine 5, with Elementa combining a Victorian-inspired visual style with a large open world. The game is not just focused on combat, either. Its gameplay mixes detective storytelling, investigation and deduction, exploration and action combat, where you can travel through the world while uncovering its various mysteries.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So, basically, we are getting a Victorian open-world action RPG where you can investigate mysteries, explore the world, and beat things up. </p>

There is still quite a bit we do not know about the final version of Silver Palace, and that January 31 date should not necessarily be treated as real just yet. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Today, Deadlock fans received some slightly disappointing news about the upcoming patch. Despite rumors and speculation that a brand-new patch would drop this week, developer Yoshi says there have been delays, and the next patch will drop in late September.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deadlock Patch Delays</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s no secret that if you are in the Deadlock community Discord, everyone freaks out whenever head developer Yoshi comes online. This usually leads to a ton of GIF spam in the main channel in anticipation of any new announcement. Sadly, Yoshi had to step in this time to calm expectations about the upcoming patch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Honestly, any update is better than no update. Lots of players are speculating that this next patch may introduce <a href="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-pve-mode-leaks-grow-after-matchmaking-update/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/deadlock-pve-mode-leaks-grow-after-matchmaking-update/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the brand-new PvE mode</a>, or that the amount of content coming is akin to the <a href="https://all.gg/news/new-deadlock-patch-adds-6-heroes-new-mode-patron-reworks/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/new-deadlock-patch-adds-6-heroes-new-mode-patron-reworks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Old Gods New Blood update</a>. Which if any of these claims are true, we are more than happy to wait a little longer for quality this good.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Turok: Origins, the reptilian Xeni are locked in an unending galactic war with Humanity and their mystical guardians. You are a member of the Order of the Turok, warriors brave enough to defend all human life across the galaxy.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Their leader is Hexagis, the ruthless warlord commanding Xenia forces. He sets out to the forgotten worlds of the Lost Lands in search of the <a href="https://all.gg/news/the-lost-wild-brings-dinosaurs-back-to-survival-horror/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/the-lost-wild-brings-dinosaurs-back-to-survival-horror/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">secrets of an ancient, long-dead civilization</a> that will bring about humanity&#8217;s destruction.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is here, and after a few months since its announcement, the day is finally here. Overall, Fireteam Elite 2 <a href="https://all.gg/news/sprawl-zero-finally-gets-a-release-date/" data-type="link" data-id="https://all.gg/news/sprawl-zero-finally-gets-a-release-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">improves on the gameplay established in the first game</a>, but its opening days are showing several technical problems that are driving fans away.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">There&#8217;s Too Many of Them</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are a ton of new surprises waiting for players in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. From the big roster of brand new Alien variants, which are sure to make life difficult for you and your squad, comes the massive number of bugs. Reports from the first few days point to technical problems not only with performance, but with the enemy AI as well. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Currently on Steam, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 sits at a <strong>mixed review score of 64%</strong> at the time of writing. This stems from the AI&#8217;s lack of responsiveness. Many users have reported that sometimes Aliens will just halt in their tracks and stare at players while taking countless bullets to the face.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Other reports say that doors are locking players out, making progressing through levels difficult to impossible. Or that controls are suddenly getting disabled, such as picking up items, vaulting, or other interactions.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But if Cold Iron Studios can iron out these problems, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 does look very promising. The new roster of Aliens is fun to fight, and most aspects from the first game carry over with minor improvements, like much more attachment variety.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Life in the Lands Between</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Tarnished Pack for Elden Ring might be the final piece of content FromSoftware is giving their masterpiece, but that hasn&#8217;t lessened the hype behind it. Players new and old are rushing back to the Lands Between once more over a mere 5$ DLC. Goes to show you how much folks love FromSoftware titles.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But on to the big parts. The Tarnished Pack surprisingly brought a handful of new additions that no one saw coming. Beyond the two new classes, their starting armor, weapons, and Torrent skins, this DLC adds even more weapons and a few new NPC invasions.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ananta is getting quite a bit of attention now that it has revealed its release date and is showing up at Gamescom. The following is not exactly official information and only comes from a leak, but it does reveal the first proper details about one of the systems that was probably inevitable for a free-to-play game like this: the Battle Pass.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So yes, Ananta will have a Battle Pass, but with 120 progression levels, each offering its own rewards as you work your way through it. The system will have its own quests, with completing them rewarding Battle Pass experience that gradually unlocks additional levels.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So far, nothing too surprising. Things get a little more interesting once you look at the premium versions.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ananta Will Have Two Paid Battle Pass Versions</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As mentioned, all of the following information comes from a leak from Rainy, so take it with a grain of salt. Anything could still change before release!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Battle Pass will have a free reward track, but you will also have two paid options to choose from.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The first version costs 68 RMB (so what is probably the in-game currency) and unlocks additional rewards on top of the Battle Pass, and it also provides some separate bonuses for purchasing it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second version costs 128 RMB and includes the bonuses from both paid versions. It will also immediately increase your Battle Pass progression by 20 levels. So, essentially, you are paying extra to skip the first 20 levels of the Battle Pass on top of getting the premium rewards. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The 120 levels themselves are progressed through Battle Pass quests, meaning you will need to keep playing and completing those activities to work your way through the entire track. There is no way to just auto-complete the entire thing.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Battle Pass Is Not Necessarily Final Yet</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Again, this is just a leak, not really official, even if you can technically trust the source, so the 120 levels, prices, and rewards are all subject to change before Ananta officially launches. That is particularly worth keeping in mind with the two prices currently listed at 68 RMB and 128 RMB, as there is still plenty of time for NetEase to adjust all of that. But, at least you get a small idea of how it will most likely work!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And considering how much information has started coming out around Gamescom, I would not be surprised if we hear quite a bit more about Ananta&#8217;s progression and monetization systems before launch!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Blood of Dawnwalker is only a couple of days away, and Rebel Wolves has now revealed exactly when you will be able to start the game! Officially, it launches on September 3, but the exact timing depends on your platform and your region.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On PC, The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch simultaneously worldwide at midnight CEST (UTC+2), so this basically means that once it hits midnight for most of Europe, the game will go live for everyone on PC.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Console players get a slightly different rollout. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game will unlock at midnight local time in each region. There are a few exceptions for countries with multiple time zones, such as Australia and Indonesia, and those will use the capital city&#8217;s midnight. North and South America will also use midnight EDT, meaning players across America will not all get access at their own local midnight.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For European players, it is pretty simple: The Blood of Dawnwalker unlocks at midnight on September 3.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Preload Starts 48 Hours Before Launch</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you have already pre-ordered the game, you will not have to wait until launch night to start downloading it. Rebel Wolves has confirmed that the preload will become available 48 hours before release on Steam and consoles. That means you can have the game ready to go before the servers unlock, and you do not have to spend launch night staring at a download bar.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And considering the PC version requires around 60 GB of free storage, I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the preload if you have already decided to play at launch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is also no early access period, so all editions will unlock according to the same global schedule.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Do Not Stream the Game Before the PC Launch</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is one other thing you should keep in mind. Rebel Wolves <a href="https://x.com/DawnwalkerGame/status/2092228921852870994?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">has asked players</a> not to stream The Blood of Dawnwalker before its global PC release at midnight CEST, since it is a narrative-focused experience. This is mostly to avoid any big story spoilers before the game becomes available for everyone. Of course, nothing will keep you from streaming it, but please be considerate of other players and wait a little bit before you stream and share all the information about the game.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With the release now just days away, we are finally at the point where there is not much left to do besides preload the game and wait, so how ready are you for this one?</p>
