Overwatch Is Getting Special BlizzCon Drops During the World Cup

Everyone who plays World of Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, or Overwatch is probably only waiting for BlizzCon 2026. The convention is starting soon, and it is going to be a very busy weekend for Blizzard fans, especially when you look at the entire schedule that they just revealed. And of course, there is no BlizzCon without all the various rewards you can earn by watching the show online.

Luckily, BlizzCon will be livestreamed for free, so even if you are not directly in Anaheim, you can still enjoy the show from home. The event will start with an opening ceremony, and it will feature various big panels, esports competitions, big announcements for almost every Blizzard game, and more. Of course, this comes with rewards you can earn by watching or participating in Twitch and YouTube streams as well.

The exact rewards and requirements vary between the games, but with the Overwatch World Cup taking place during the event, you can expect pretty cool rewards if you watch the Overwatch streams during BlizzCon!

Overwatch BlizzCon Rewards

For Overwatch, the weekend will be particularly interesting thanks to the return of the Overwatch World Cup. The tournament’s final stage will take place at BlizzCon, with the remaining teams battling for the World Cup title. The top teams from this year’s competition will clash in one final battle! So who will win the World Cup this year?

The World Cup will also come with its own viewership rewards, including Overwatch World Cup-themed Jetpack Cat and Domina skins, alongside additional cosmetics such as loot boxes, banners, stickers, and more. There are two different sets of rewards for both days as well.

All you need to do is watch for 8 hours each day on the official Overwatch Twitch channel or YouTube channel to get the rewards.

BlizzCon 2026 takes place September 12-13, the Overwatch World Cup Quaterfinals take place on the 12, and the semi and finals are on the 13. Make sure your Battle.net account is properly connected to Twitch or YouTube to receive the rewards. If you do not link them, you will not be able to claim anything.
