Dead by Daylight Is Getting a NieR: Automata Collab
Dead by Daylight just dropped another shocking crossover coming during the Halloween season. After initally pushing out a smaller teaser a few days ago, they finally dropped the big news that NieR: Automata is getting its own collection on October 6.
NieR: Automata in DBD
Yes, you are reading that correctly. NieR: Automata is making its way to Dead by Daylight. While this isn’t the first time that non-horror media has stepped into the Entity’s realm, like Iron Maiden, Attack on Titan, or, perhaps more impactfully, Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul.
The fight for humanity continues in The Fog.

Alongside this small teaser, the brand-new official October 2026 roadmap also confirms we are getting at least a 2B and an A2 skin. As for which survivor is getting them, neither the community nor we know (anyone is good as long as it isn’t Sable).
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer since this collab is actually dropping in three days, which is two weeks before the Diablo 4 collab, which we have known about for months now. Perhaps shock value will help these skins sell? Only time will tell.
