Darktide Depths of the Damned Update Is Here

Darktide just dropped the Depths of the Damned update, bringing a brand-new map, boss, weapons, mini-campaign, and plenty of other changes to all class talent trees.
New Story Mini-Campaign: Terrors of the Deep
The update introduces a brand-new mini-campaign consisting of three missions, each with an interconnected narrative similar to the base Battle for Tertium campaign. The first two missions take place in Consignment Yard and Enclavum Baross, as the Strike Team sets out to aid the Inquisition’s allies.
The third and final mission is Spillway, a brand-new mission launching alongside the update. Players will descend into the depths of the Torrent as the Ragged King begins losing Water Cartel members to something lurking within the network of sewers beneath the ancient dam.
The brand-new Spillway mission also features a terrifying new boss: the Prophet of Decay.
New Weapons

In addition to the new mission, the update is introducing a bunch of new weapons:
- Ogryn Cruncher
- Mk V Slab Shield
- Ogryn Thugshot
- Crusher Krourk Mk VII
- Huntsman’s Shotgun
- Double-Barrelled Shotgun Krourk Mk IV
- Gromm Mk I Battle Maul
Many of these weapons are brand-new marks that offer competitive sidegrades to existing weapons, but the star of the show has to be the Ogryn Cruncher.
General Changes

The update also brings plenty of other noteworthy changes. Fatshark has finally added an end-game screen that displays detailed stats for every player, so you’ll finally be able to see who was carving through the hordes the best.
Expeditions are also now giving more rewards at higher difficulties, with rewards now increasing based on how many players successfully extract. There’s also more detailed Operator Stats in the loadout and talents screens, showing exactly how much Toughness, Health, Stamina, Regeneration, and other stats your build has.
The update also brings a sweeping round of class balance changes, with one of the biggest being the Golden Toughness rework. On top of this, all of the talent trees are being slimmed down to make them easier to navigate.
Lastly, the update is bringing the Death Korps of Krieg skins back to the shop, alongside a special live event through the Allies and Adversaries event.
From now until October 13, players who complete the brand-new Terrors of the Deep campaign can unlock a brand-new Insignia as a reward.
